Real Estate had begun the shooting a week ago. There was a small situation with the agent of the actor who auditioned for the role of the lead. But, with Ian meddling in the situation, with Raelynn’s request, things started becoming quite profitable for Renner Studio.

The agent, Harley Jonathan, requested a special meeting between Ian, Raelynn, and Niko. Ian wanted to be there while he was talking to Harley, and that thought crossed his mind as soon as Raelynn complained about what happened.

By no means, Raelynn didn’t want to handle a situation where she was disrespected.

Harley not only disrespected her but also used his words to make her extremely uncomfortable. But on the other hand, she had something in mind.

While he was talking, she knew that the CCTV was recording everything ongoing in the office. Which was why she let him continue speaking, without landing a slap across his face as she’d normally do.

Ian walked in, while Harley and Raelynn had an intense eye contact battle going on. Niko, who sat next to Raelynn, was extremely uncomfortable with the situation, but he wanted to be there for his best friend. Talk about things you do for a best friend.

“You must be Harley!”

As soon as Ian’s voice came across the room, he stood up. “Mr. Renner, what a surprise?”

He asked with much shock layered in his voice.

Ian almost chuckled sarcastically.

“What did you expect by trying to sleep with my girlfriend? That too, at work… So, I’d use the term, my coworker?” Ian asked as he walked in, to sit right in front of everyone.

His voice held so much authority, that even Raelynn felt a chill down her spine.

“Huh? What are you talking about?”

‘Ah, the classical I-don’t-know-what-you-are-talking-about move’ Ian thought.

“Niko, show.”

Ian said and Niko got to work as quickly as possible. Showing the clip with audio, it was evident that the guy in front of Ian tried to harass his girlfriend… That too, shamelessly.

“What made you think that we wouldn’t agree to your conditions? We want the actor to play the lead as I see no one better than him doing the character.”

Harley was in shock. It was clearly visible that he hadn’t faced such an incident before. By practice, it was sure that he had harassed women before. Which was something very common in the industry.

As nasty as it was when most men in the industry see women who’d please their eyes, they tend to look beyond career and focus on what the women could do sexually and act on behalf of that.

This was why many female actresses ended up getting into sexual relationships with the directors just because they wanted a role or they needed to climb higher in the industry.

The term, “she slept on her way up” originated from it.

“What the fuck are you saying?” Harley asked loudly. He kept his chill during the entire time knowing what sort of power Ian had over the industry, and how he could break or make careers. Yet, with how he was being exposed, he couldn’t hold onto it much longer.

“The fuck I’m saying is exactly the fuck you’re seeing. No shame? Did you think that she’d shut the fuck up like any other woman you’ve done this before? Don’t think that I’m not aware of all of it. Because trust me, two phone calls, you’d be behind the fucking bars, counting days to get out.”

Ian said with the same loud voice Harley used against them.

The environment got intense and everyone fell into a pin-drop silence. Harley’s eyes were on Ian, as Ian looked at him with the same intensity.

“Do you fucking think that you can shout at me-”

“Yes, I do,” Ian said and chuckled, sarcastically. “I seriously fucking do. I’d hand over this clip, or simply release this shit to the internet, and you’ll have nowhere to go. No job to save or no life to live. Do you want that?” Ian asked calmly.

“What do you want?”

Harley asked after a moment of pause.

“I’d tell you what I want, but before that, apologize to her. Not her, but no girl deserves harassment from men like you.”

“I’m sorry.”

“You’re what?” Ian pushed.

“I’m sorry for behaving the way I did. You didn’t deserve it.”

He said after thinking for so long. It was clear that the dude wanted to be anywhere other than there.

“You’ll make the contracts for the lead role. There’s no going back-”

“But-”

“BUT, yes. For the same offer, we were offering. Nothing more, nothing less.”

“That’s not happening. I’m sorry. We have certain requirements to be met if you want the actor for your movie. That’s how it works. Either way, I can’t.”

Ian raised an eyebrow in challenge.

“Really? You can’t or you won’t? Because trust me, I would. I would do anything if someone had a tape of me harassing a woman in the industry, just because the deal won’t go through and you would not work together. Hm?”

He asked in the most calming voice. His hands were on the table, palms meeting each other, and in fact, his entire posture was scary. His face was stern, and his eyebrows knitted into a frown.

Harley looked scared as he looked at Ian.
