《Daydream of Gods》46 Flood: 4 vs 1

Oliver shot forward like a bullet crushing the ground beneath his feet, he once again grabbed the lower end of his halberd and slashed downwards.
His movement looked like that of a woodcutter who was cutting wood, the saw like blade was looking for the head of delion, even thou they looked cute moment ago he had no intention of sparing them, animal or human, or even the robot next to Viper they all would face the sharp end of his weapon.
Before the blade could collide with the lion like mane the animal dashed sideways and avoided it, the saw passed cleanly through the ground.
As if waiting for this opportunity the three other delions jumped at him again aiming for three different vital points.
Oliver used the spinning power which his strike created and jumped in the air, spinning and moving forward, looking like an Olympic gymnast.
The tree delions bit at empty air but not letting the fail get to them they once again spread in different directions looking to surround Oliver.
The blood from his wound continued to drip on the ground leaving a blood trail behind him.
Viper just stood there and waited for the battle to end, not only did he wanted to see the abilities of his masterpieces, but something told him that he was the primary target of this hunter, if he tried to escape, and got too far from the delions, and the hunter was crazy enough not to mind the damage he might dash towards him, since Viper was a scientist not a warrior this hunter needed just a simple hit to end his life, so the best choice was staying here close to his pets, waiting for the hunter to tire and use two delions to stall and escape with the rest, they might die, but he honestly didn’t care, they were precious experiments but the moment they were created without a problem they became useful only as a bodyguard.
He could make more if he wanted to, they were not even worth an arm of his.
Thankfully looking how the hunter was losing more and more blood it seemed like his plan would succeed, even hunters albeit having the abilities of monsters, were still human at the end of day, dying of blood loss was still death.
The battle between the fighters continued in the same manner, the delions attacked and Oliver dodged closely, this time however he didn’t let them surround him.
Like with the crasher he was looking for a weak point.
While dodging delion one, the rest once again attacked from three different angles, he could find no window for counter attack, but he wasn’t worried.
Honestly the four delions were not at the lvl of the Warsher.
Their strength lied in their cooperation, true they might be genetically modified, but he was pretty sure that if he landed even a single hit now they would not be able to survive, the water saw was already being active for a few minutes, warriors will was also active.
He was already faster than them, the reason he was playing weak however was cause he could end one of them, but the rest would not sit idle while he did so, and even if he was faster he wouldn’t be able to dodge while he attacks, so he was waiting for the right moment, unless something unexpected happened he would win.
But for some strange reason he just had this feeling like he had missed something, and that idea wouldn’t come out of his brain.
Oliver just shook his head, this was a battle, you never know what a moment of carelessness could cost you, so he removed the thought of his head and once again focused on the delions and the professor.

Far in the distance two people in black robes, with red circle on them spectated the whole thing.
Looking at the battle one of them commented.
??? “this dude is really weak, didn’t he take care of a Warsher, yet he is still having trouble with four modified Delions, is the information false or is he pretending”
The other person however didn’t answer and just continued to spectate.
Seeing the lack of response ??? shook his head and stopped talking, he continued to watch the show.
Oliver continued to dodge and look for opportunity, he waited for a bit but honestly he was starting to get bored, this avoiding and running didn’t really suit his personality.
Oliver{fuck it}
When the four Delions jumped him, he spun and once again used the rotation force to send two of the three delions flying like a baseball ball, he didn’t suppress his speed or strength anymore.
After sending it flaying, using the collision from the impact, he spun in the other direction like a spin top, this time however he used the sharp end, the saw passed cleanly to through the neck of the Delion, but the second reacted immediately, he used the moment the blade passed through the head of his brother and bit down hard at the human neck.
Oliver however managed to dodge by bending sideways, but the animal not wanting to miss that chance bit down at his shoulder instead, the other two delions had already recuperated and dashed towards Oliver.
He was surprised, their speed had increased it seems they also had suppressed their speed for some reason, he tried to dodge, but the Delion who was biting his shoulder didn’t let him, he managed to avoid the lethal attacks but the other delions bit down on his abdomen and his hand.
Thankfully however, due to the overall buff of warrior will his skin, bones and muscles were tougher so the injuries weren’t deep, but if the situation continued for a while the blood loss would actually start to affect him.
He thought about using Lifeline, cause if he did he would able to end everything instantly, but his instinct for battle was telling him not to reveal his trump card right now.
And he knew better than not to listen it.
Of course the delion wouldn’t give him time to think, honestly they were already surprised that this human managed not only to somehow block the full extend of their teeth from penetrating him, but is still standing when the three of them were pressing him down with their weight.
No, at this point, was this thing still a human, cause those actions didn’t sound like the actions of a human.
The animals didn’t think too deep about it and decided that although their bites didn’t kill him immobilizing him was enough, they started to use their claws to attack at his abdomen, chest and neck.
Oliver avoided all the hits to the neck, and tried to think of something, if this went on his warrior will would make him strong enough to crush their heads with his bare hands, but probably the lifeline would activate as well, so that wasn’t an option, using the halberd should not even be mentioned, the halberd had the length of a spear, good luck harming someone who was literally on your shoulder while being suppressed, simply put it was not that kind of weapon.
So what should he do.
He continued to barely dodge and trying to think of something, the current situation was the worst possible one for a warrior, almost his whole body was immobilized.

Oliver” how the fuck is a close range fighter supposed to… fuck I am an idiot”
Before he even finished this thought he summoned the two spinning blade disks, he hadnt used them for a while so he had forgotten about them, they didn’t need his hands to wield them, he would usually not use them in a fight one on one, since they took quite a bit of brain power to control, but since his halberd wasn’t an option right now…
Three disks appeared little above the heads of the Delions, a water stream appeared on them, the water saw activated on all three of them as they dropped downwards.
The delions immediately sensed danger and let go, the discs dug cleanly into the ground.
Once again being at the distance with the water disks, the halberd in his hand and warrior will, against three delions it seemed like a stalemate.
The battle however, was already decided.
But he waved his hand and the disks and halberd disappeared, the delions looked at him in surprise, did this human decide he wanted to offer them his life… they most certainly wouldn’t be against the idea.
Oliver put his hand on his neck and cracked it.
He spread his hands and water started to gather around him, combining into a bigger and bigger puddle behind him.
The reason why he made his weapons disappeared was because of this.
During that fight he realized another mistake he had made after coming here, he still fought like he was on earth, the difference being he had special abilities but he still fought the same way.
He still used a weapon, the halberd, his body, or the two disks but didnt use his actual abilities, he fought like a warrior but he was not a warrior anymore, or at least not only warrior… now he was a saint, and they had a different method of fighting, he could still continue to fight like a warrior, but that would only suppress the main part of his power, and he was someone who needed to give 100% in a fight to feel exited.
So what better chance to learn to use his power than against the beasts who are smart, but not physically good enough to pose a serious treat, they were the perfect opponents.
The puddle behind him grew bigger and bigger, the Delions noticed that the weapons really did disappear, and looked at each other, they didn’t want to wait for the water behind him to do what it was supposed to do.
They once again circled and dashed towards him, their speed was higher than before, this time they gave it their all, like Oliver they also tried to fool him in the beginning, so they could end him with a single strike but hiding their abilities was no longer an option.
Oliver however just closed his eyes, he didn’t seem even the least bit concerned, the huge puddle behind him enveloped his body like a blanket dropped over a chair.
However, the water started to take a much clear shape, a blue armor made of flowing water enveloped his whole body to protect him, that process took less than a second.
The teeth of the Delions crashed against the flowing water, they thought that the human had gone insane, could a simple water block their teeth that can pierce metal, but the moment they bit at it their whole bodies hit the ground.
CRASH
The flow of the water inside the armor threw them to the ground like they were a pebble in a waterfall.
They didn’t even know what happened, meanwhile the blue armored human turned his head and looked at the place Viper had been, the moment Oliver closed his eyes the professor tried to escape knowing his pets were about to be killed.
Oliver shook his head, this dude was not even fit, concerning the standard of this world, and yet he tried to out run Oliver, just the thought was laughable.
But the professor knowing Oliver didn’t plan to let him live was just grasping at straws, nobody could blame him.
The blue armor, or more accurately Oliver snapped his fingers, the ground Viper stepped on formed drops of water that grasped his leg, the professor tried to escape, but his strength was honestly just down right pathetic in Olivers eyes, the water enveloped his other leg well and shot towards Oliver, dragging viper like a mop cleaning the floor.
Satisfied Oliver looked at the Delions around him, he didn’t know what the professor had done to them, but he had to admit that this animals were loyal to dead, even knowing there is no chance they still tried to look for opening, honestly Oliver still didn’t know how to fully control his saint powers, currently manipulating water to form this armor, and using the water the professor stepped on was his limit, it seemed that this took quite a bit of saint power compared to his normal fighting stile.
But he could still probably make a bubble around the beasts head and make them drown, he also wanted to try doing it, but he decided to be merciful, he made his armor spread and three water spikes shot forward piercing their heads through their eyes, since the spikes wouldn’t be able to penetrate their skin and kill them otherwise.
Seeing that even Oliver was surprised, the spikes shouldn’t have been fast enough to end them.
He planned to make them jump and then use the halberd to finish them quickly, he didn’t know that the speed delions used in the second part of the battle could be unleashed for a limited time.
After pushing their limits to exert such speed, the downside made them sluggish after it.
In the distance the two hooded figures saw everything.
??? ”well, that went as expected, we gathered the information we needed and located him ”
The other hooded figure nodded and finally spoke.
??? ”we will keep him under surveillance like all the other saints, from the powers demonstrated here he is not a danger ”
The talkative hooded figure spoke again
???”but well it was kinda unlucky that viper got caught”
The silent hooded figure shook his head
???”it was his own fault, he wasn’t cautious and then made a foolish decision, either way we got what we need”
The talkative hooded figure nodded.
The silent hooded figure took a box with a button from inside his sleeve, and looked in the distance.
He spoke once again “time to clean up ”
He pressed the button.
BOOOOOOOOM
At the place Oliver was, where the laboratory was present a huge explosion took place.
???”wait didn’t you say that he was too weak, wouldn’t that kill him, if he was caught off guard, wont that be a big problem, didn’t we decide to let him live in the first place because killing him will anger the god”
The other hooded figure looked at his partner for a moment shook his head and started to leave as he spoke.
???“ if he was caught of guard that would be the case b….”
Before he could even finish his sentence from the distance a light shout was heard, of course that was cause they were too far, if they were closer it would be deafening.
Oliver “WHOEVER MOTHERFUCKER ACTIVATED THOSE FIRWEORKS, WHEN I FIND YOU, YOU ASS IS GETTING A MEETING WITH THE HANDLE OF MY HALBERD”
