Despite appearances, she was simply at most a forced to mature child who 'still' wanted to be a child once more, and now that she had the opportunity she wasn't going to waste it.

And after asking to meet The First Queen of Brown-tailed Inari and finally seeing her face she wouldn't give her an opportunity to speak! Before then revealing her previously hidden fury! She simply didn't care at this point.

"Not only was I betrayed, I was betrayed by the stupidity and disgusting nature of The Brown Tailed Inari! I want no part in those who kept quiet while I suffered for years!"

"First was my mother, then my father.. WHAT MORE DO YOU PEOPLE WANT TO TAKE FROM ME?! You can keep my title! I renounce my title of Princess of The Brown Tailed Inari! I don't want it to make me as rotten as my people!"

Elyris furiously screamed surprising everyone before then ripping her mask off, revealing the flood of tears.

Before then tossing it as hard as she could at the massive one-sided display window overlooking the auction, cracking it before then finally and without any hesitation.

Bore her claws and with one sharp swipe cleanly removed her tail, horrifying everyone! All the while immediately waking the young prince who had immediately hopped down from his mommy's lap and raced to her followed by the others.

It simply happened so quickly! While the now horrified Lady Lu immediately dropped the communication orb, resulting in Elyris finally falling to her knees before then immediately looking directly into the screen.

"You can have it.."

Elyris coldly mumbled before then picking up the orb and crushing it bloodying her palm before then falling back into the young prince's arms.

In truth, she might have gone farther than she had intended.. but who else could say they horrified The First Queen of The Brown Tailed Inari and two goddesses?

She had cut off her own tail and hung up on her.. despite the pain and blood loss she neither felt pride nor anything else really. Perhaps it was the adrenaline?

Causing the young prince to then immediately put her mask back on since he knew it was important to her before then seriously frowning while Celes examined her tail so she could try sticking it back on?

However, the young prince was now quite upset.

"Why?! If something happened you should have told me and Aurel would have fixed it! You should never go so far! I'm here and I'll never let go of Elyris! S-So please.. never do that again!"

The young prince tearily reminded resulting in Lady Lue, Aldra, Gemma, and Aurora doing the same while Celes effortlessly reattached her tail, and in truth, she had only heard her little brother's words.

While the others and their words were mumbled, she didn't even feel her tail being reattached.

She simply felt the comfort of her little brother's arms. Or first pillar or something, it was the same thing to her before then finally closing her eyes.

Soon enough she had woken up in the infirmary with a sleeping Aurel on her chest causing her to then sigh.

Before then noticing Marjorie surprising her before then remembering a mommy Marjorie causing Marjorie to then reassuringly shake her head while gently feeling her forehead.

"You shouldn't worry sweet Elyris, Aldra had only left a few moments ago to speak to The Brown Tailed Inari's Delegation, it's only a formality, the others are currently in the library"

"Sweet Aurel was also quite adamant of staying by your side, and after hearing what had transpired previously I truly believe you two should take this day and perhaps the next to recover at your own pace"

"Even if the physical wounds may have healed, I'd imagine the other non-visible wounds that may have affected your mental health may also require some time longer to heal?"

"Whatever the case may be you needn't ever worry about being alone sweet Elyris, if you ever need someone to talk to, vent to, or perhaps even comfort need only ask-"

Marjorie softly whispered before then being cut off by Elyris reaching for her hand and patting the empty spot next to her.

Causing Marjorie to then gently nod and Elyris to then hesitantly remove her now slightly damaged mask causing Marjorie to then gently smile.

And Elyris having felt a strange connection with her much like a clingy child would to their mother to then slowly become teary.

"Why.. why wasn't I lucky enough to be your child.. I hate my mother, she left me as my father had, they left me with monsters and my mother returned to her homeland and forgot I existed.. why couldn't I have been born your child? Why couldn't I have been a Feless.. it hurts!"

"It hurts more than when I cut off my tail! And it won't go away! I missed mommy so much but she abandoned me to live her own life! She could have done something! I prayed every day while I hid under those blankets hoping those bad people stopped hurting me!"

"I wanted mommy and daddy to save me! But they didn't.. all I remember about mommy is from my inheritance but it was all fake! My real mommy looked at me with love but when I remembered her eyes.. I saw nothing!"

"Was I just a mistake?! Was I a bad girl?! How much do I have to lose for someone to love me? Am I a monster?! Did I deserve to be punished?! Was I only born to drown?!"

Elyris quietly cried, having felt like she was drowning at every moment and that there was something rotten inside of her!

She couldn't drown out the constant whispers telling her she was a mistake but even then mistakes still had a purpose! She simply couldn't stop asking herself why she hated herself so much?!

Her words broke Marjorie's heart! What do you have to do to a child for her to say such things?! Causing Marjorie to then immediately bury Elyris's head into her chest.

"Never say that! You are neither a bad girl nor a monster! And no child deserves to be punished as much as you have suffered! Those 'individuals' were only your birth givers who had abandoned their child to the hands of monsters!"

"No one on Divinus is a mistake and that's especially the case with you my sweet Elyris! In my eyes, I see a beautiful little girl with overwhelming talent, brains, and an even bigger heart!"

"So please don't speak such nonsense! As for nonsense, who dares to say or stop me from making you, my child?! I needn't have given birth to you for you to my child sweet Elyris, blood may be thick however so is mud on a hot summer's day?"

"Or perhaps a winter's day since strictly speaking it would be frozen and indeed thicker?"

Marjorie seriously reassured with a surprisingly warm yet loving expression having truly felt indeed upset and a similar connection.

It was indeed strange causing Elyris having felt true bliss something she had only felt as an infant when her birth giver had actually displayed something comparable to a mother's love to then ultimately giggle.

Everything be it from her heart and very being reacted as if Marjorie had given birth to her and her words and adorable comment towards the end melted her heart to the point she felt true happiness!

One simply couldn't explain it! It felt like she could do anything and even motivated her.

She had something to look forward to and a future.. and coupled with what she remembered the young prince had told her before she fell asleep or perhaps passed out it was only elevated from there!

Along with now having friends like Molly and Hanah even if Hanah was a mixture of a friend and a big sister and perhaps even a cousin?

She was simply all over the place! As for Hanah's mommy in truth despite calling her mommy she was more like an aunt, big sister, or simply her grandmommy.

So a mommy nonetheless since she loved her so much, however, she wasn't a 'mommy' mommy? There's simply no other way to explain it.

Causing Elyris to then gently pull away before then hugging Marjorie to the fullest as if refusing to ever let go.

Before then finally calming down and looking up to her while Marjorie instinctually rubbed her nose on her own causing Elyris to then adorably giggle before then calming down once more.

After remembering there was an Elisabet? She heard a lot about her since her little brother loved her ears and tail resulting in Elyris liking her right away so now she was curious about her and even wanted to meet her.

"Mommy.. I.. I want to meet sister Elisabet. Little brother talked about sisters and he loved her so much.. so I liked her too? And is it ok for mommy to have two daughters?"

Elyris adorably asked causing Marjorie to then reassuringly nod.

Having already informed Bromley who was surprisingly quite thrilled along with Aldra, Amber, Annie, and Bradley all of who loved the idea while Elisabet was beyond excited and wanted to come to the infirmary right away!

However, Elisabet had her studied and Marjorie didn't want her to interrupt her studies and get the others excited at the moment since they'll visit later.

So there was simply no need at the moment causing Marjorie to then gently kiss Elyris's cheek since both Devyn and Suna would arrive soon as well.

Along with two more sisters? Meaning ruining the schedule now wouldn't be as impactful and would ruin the fun causing Elyris to then look to the young prince.

Before then whispering in his ear causing him to adorably pout having pretended to sleep after waking up after mommy Marjorie's reassurance?

Causing Marjorie to giggle and the young prince to then worriedly shake his head before then being cut off by Silas magically appearing alongside Selphie.

Causing the young prince to then immediately pounce on Selphie causing her to then worriedly feel his forehead.

All the while causing Elyris to then immediately put her mask on causing Silas to then playfully shake his head after noticing the young prince's expression.

"It's only natural to be a little overwhelmed? But don't worry big brother Silas is here! Just give it a few days and everything will return to normal! The only real difference will be the new faces. Oh and your new consort! Lilyana Alba, I believe?"

"She reminded me of The Ancestral Queen of The Pearl Demons? A complete menace to society! Loved her antics for what that's worth."

"Thinking of which, given enough time she may even meet her through their inheritance! I have plenty then enough Pearl Dragon Bloodwine? However the trick is you must drink seven entire bottles within seven hours.. you'd think I was joking but I'm not!

Soon enough however a wild Sura had appeared with a mystery cart followed by Devyn!

Resulting in lunch finally being served, Sura had made a hearty Inari curry with chicken cutlets, and chicken skewers, for drinks she brought Celestial Cola, a variety of juice, and chilled celestial grape wine!

Causing Sura after adorably feeling both the young prince's and Elyris's foreheads to then adorably sigh with relief.

"N-No more dangerous antics or no more cake! Aurel should stay a good boy! An-And Elyris should be a good girl! No more hurting yourselves or I'll.. I'll never make you cake again!"

Sura adorably reminded causing everyone to then adorably nod and the young prince to then adorably cling to Devyn after finishing his lunch having missed his big sister so much so mommy Devyn was a proper replacement!

Causing him to then adorably hug his pink mommy.

"I-I missed pink mommy and sisters so much! Pink mommy's and Octavia's ears are the prettiest pink ears! Bu-But.. why does pink mommy hide mommy's tail?"

The young prince adorably asked surprising Devyn and causing her to then playfully contemplate it before then simply giggling her heart out having realized at most she had forgotten all about it! Which in turn gave her a good laugh.
