"He even warned me I should recover first before even considering it.. then the rest was history, I've been hesitant and even scared to leave 'his' dreamworld because what if I break again?"
"I'm sorry for hiding this from you and never visiting.. I just felt that I still needed some time to recover-"
Sylvia helplessly confessed before then being cut off by Fluffle reassuringly flicking her forehead causing Sylvia to then playfully nod.
All the while the young prince was worriedly looking at the two causing Octavia to then adorably shake her head before playfully flicking the young prince's forehead as well causing him to then adorably pout.
Before then looking to the strange book in Octavia's hand causing Octavia after noticing this to then playfully shake her head.
"Right! Have those 'idiot' teachers of yours introduced you to magic yet? Or did they skip you ahead to Divine spells or something pointless like that?"
Octavia remembered.
Causing Sylvia to then adorably twitch all the while causing the young prince to then pout before then shaking his head causing Octavia to then adorably sigh before then playfully flicking the young prince's forehead once more.
Causing him to then adorably hug her arm causing her to then playfully shake her head before then adorably flicking his forehead with her other hand.
"Hmph! Big sister always wins! Plus I'm a Highmage now so you're adorably outclassed! As your big sister, I'll be willing to tutor you while I ask mommy to find you a teacher! For now.. let me introduce you to Magic!"
"And I have just the idea.. It should already be night. Which would make this the best time of any!"
"We'll just need to sneak into that massive library I passed by earlier and where they keep all those Magic Books, Grimoires, and whatever! But first, we'll have to wake up and sneak past 'your' guards!"
Octavia excitedly explained causing the young prince's eyes to then adorably sparkle before then excitedly nodding causing both to then adorably kiss each other's cheeks.
Causing both to then quickly wake up surprising both Sylvia and Fluffle causing Sylvia to then helplessly smile all the while Fluffle couldn't help but adorably pout at such an injustice after not even hearing a goodbye.
Causing both to then adorably shake their heads, after waking up the young prince adorably rubbed his eyes causing Octavia to then adorably tap on his shoulder.
"Shh! Let's get dressed.."
Octavia carefully whispered causing the young prince to then adorably nod causing both to then surprisingly feel taps on their shoulders as well.
Before then noticing both Iris and Elisabet had also woken up causing both the young prince and Octavia to then hesitantly nod.
"Ok, you two get dressed too! Unless one of you want to stay and cover for us?"
Octavia curiously asked causing Elisabet's eyes to then quickly sparkle before then adorably rearranging the pillows under the blankets surprising all three causing Octavia to then quickly and adorably nod.

After all four had finally gotten dressed they had soon followed Elisabet's example before then rearranging their pillows causing everyone then adorably sigh before then adorably nodding.
After walking outside of the infirmary the young prince was soon greeted by a familiar sight, both of the 'strange' Celestial Praetorians Guards who were previously guarding the entrance to their Mage tower.
Were now at the entrance of the infirmary and wearing the same armor no less surprising and scaring all three causing the young prince to then adorably look to the others with an adorably curious expression.
"My prince.."
Both greeted causing the young prince to then adorably nod before then adorably whispering into one's ear causing both to then dutifully nod.
"It will be done.. we shall escort you there now while the rest of your guard remains here as to not alert anyone of your venture outside of the infirmary"
Both agreed.
Before then looking to both of the female captains belonging to detachments of The Elfin Guard and The Praetorian Guard causing both to then hesitantly nod before then looking to each other.
All the while the strange duo had soon led the way to The Celestial Royal Library, after arriving to the entrance the young prince had soon whispered into one of their ears once more causing both to then dutifully nod once more.
Before then quickly saluting and quickly turning invisible causing Octavia to then adorably shiver.
"Scary.. anyways let's get past those two guards at the entrance! I doubt they'll give us too much trouble?"
Octavia helplessly asked causing all three to then adorably nod.
Moments later all four had been greeted by two Celestial Royal Guardsmen who had curiously yet quickly let them pass after informing them of the library's etiquette among other things.
Causing all four to then adorably nod before then entering the massively lavish golden library filled with countless books and empty tables.
Causing some of the many mages belonging to the many mage legions and off-duty royal guards to then curiously glance to the four children with many insignias surprising them after noticing three of them held the title with celestial honorifics.
While one even held the title of The Princess of Demons causing everyone who had previously glanced to then respectfully nod all the while the rest continued their reading and magic research as if nothing happened.
Causing one of the male librarians to then warmly smile before then approaching all four.
"My Prince, Princesses, it's quite a treat to see so many young minds in the search for magical knowledge late into the night! My name is Colin Helpa Vale, Head Librarian, and Royal Mage! What can I help you all with tonight?"
Colin warmly asked causing Octavia to then adorably step forward, Colin wore an elegant black and gold robe, strange golden insignias, and boots complimenting his pristine white skin.
Platinum blonde hair, calm yellow eyes, and handsome noble features.

"I'm hoping to tutor my little brother, however, I've just advanced to Highmage and wanted to take him through a Level Certification and check up on his foundation before I try introducing him to magic"
Octavia explained causing Colin to then happily nod.
"I must congratulate you for becoming a Highmage at such a young age! You're quite the prodigy! And with an undeveloped Platinum Foundation no less? I'm impressed!"
"Now, where was I? Right! follow me to the certification room! If you'd like we can certify the others as well?"
Colin excitedly asked surprising Octavia before then taking all four to the Testing Area before then stopping at an empty testing station before then grabbing a quill and some ink.
Causing him to then quickly take out an empty certification scroll from his space ring.
"Right! Celestial Prince Aurelius is it? Input mana into this crystal cube built into the testing station, it should be able to tell us both your Level"
"Mana Capacity, not to mention the quality of your mana that will help later in determining your foundation! Don't worry it only plays an insignificantly small role in determining your actual 'foundation' so you needn't worry"
"Just transfer as much mana as you can and as long as you can, don't worry I have both mana crystals and potions on standby if you decide to overdraw your mana!"
"Just a friendly reminder overdrawing one's mana won't affect the overall results! And remember to pace yourself!"
Colin reassuringly warned causing the young prince to then hesitantly nod before then adorably placing his hand on the strange crystal cube before then adorably freezing.
Causing Octavia to then hesitantly smile before then grabbing the young prince's shoulder causing her to then transfer some mana to him causing him to then curiously remember the strange feeling.
Surprising Colin causing him to then hesitantly smile.
"The first three seconds won't count due to young Octavia transferring you that small amount of mana.. don't worry I may be a stickler to the rules but you didn't do anything wrong!"
"I can't stress how many times I had to confiscate mana crystals hidden away in the pockets of young mages"
Colin happily explained causing the young prince to then adorably nod before then finally placing his hand on the cube and adorably attempting what Octavia had just done.
Moments later the cube had finally begun glowing before then becoming bright, after what felt like ten minutes some mages took notice all the while Colin had soon sent a mental message to other librarians to assist in the tests.
For both Iris and Elisabet after imagining it might take a while surprising everyone causing Octavia to then helplessly and adorably look to the young prince.
'My record was about thirty minutes I think? So I had enough mental energy and mana to match that of a Low-Level Legendary powerhouse.."
'But that's just matching you know! The quality of my mana is like swamp water compared to those Legendary Idiots..'
Octavia poutingly thought causing her to then adorably look to the young prince before then noticing he didn't even look tired yet causing her to then proudly smile.
'Mommy said I could have lasted for at least an hour.. I wonder if he could too? Or is he going to start pretending to be tired like I did so it wouldn't scare everyone? He better not! That's my thing you know!"
"Bu-But if he did.. wouldn't that just prove even more that he's just like his big sister? Now I'm just conflicted!'
Octavia adorably thought before then proudly smiling once more.
After what felt like twenty-nine minutes.. the young prince had already got bored before then adorably looking up and noticing both Iris and Elisabet had already finished their tests fifteen minutes ago.
Causing him to then feel bad before then adorably yawning moments later causing him to then stop transferring mana.
Causing everyone including a handful of young Archmages and even a couple of Legendary Powerhouses to then look to the young prince with surprisingly impressed expressions.
All the while both Colin and Octavia had nonchalant expressions causing Colin to finish the Level Certification Section of the scroll before then quickly nodding.
"You've transferred your mana for the total amount of twenty-nine minutes and.. fifty 'seven' seconds! I'm impressed! I know you could have gone for another thirty minutes and 'three' seconds if you truly wanted to.."
"Alas modest young minds on the path of magic always warms my heart! Look at me ranting! Right! Both your Mana Quality and Capacity would match what I would have already expected from a child born from both his majesty Bradley and Aldra.."
Colin excitedly confessed causing the young prince to then adorably blush all the while causing Octavia to then excitedly hug him before then remembering it was because of her that he didn't reach thirty minutes.
Causing her to then hesitantly twitch causing Colin to then shake his head.
"Despite this, you'll at most still be considered a Low-Level Mage Apprentice with the mana quality of a Low-Level Highmage and the capacity of a Low-Level Legendary Powerhouse!"
"However unfortunately it's all useless without the knowledge, breakthroughs, and experience that would normally come with such advantages.. remember this! The path of a Mage isn't so easy!"
"The spells and the comprehension of spells will sometimes require you to have a deeper understanding of such magic! Now enough of this! Let's return to the tests!"
Colin reassuringly explained surprising everyone causing everyone to then nod with approval all the while after opening up the rest of the testing station had soon prepared his quill and ink once more.

Macabre Mim
*Note: This story is on hiatus. I intend to pick it up again, but the mood of my life has shifted for the time being and I'm going to be working on a side project for a bit.* What would you give to live the life of your dreams? What kind of deal would you make? And when you were there, forced to stare your dreams in the eye and live them every day, how long would it be... before they broke you? Author's note: This is my first excursion outside the realm of villain fan fiction and I welcome feedback. The thing I've loved most about RRL so far is the potential for writing to be an interactive experience with excited readers. That said, also, the primary genre this is intended for is the blossoming realm of LitRPG. Namely, a slice of life tale in the manner of Grimgar or Re:Zero. So, likewise, I don't expect there will ever be a clear beginning-middle-and-end type of pattern to this story. It will likewise always be a bit more of a reactionary, exploratory novel into realms unknown - much like the 1800 travel-novel theme used by Jules Verne. Or, at least, that is my ambition.
