A compass without direction
Mapping an illusion of hope
There's no sign in my reflection
As to when we two must elope
.
Passing through wide streams of moonlight
While hoping for a change of plan
Should I be evading sunlight
When everything sums up to none

Noël is known across the city of Portland—and not by choice. Under the care of the richest man in the city and just transferred to a new high school, she's already making close friends... and bitter enemies. A chance encounter on her first day plunges her headfirst into a secret underground tournament. Between suspicious classmates and utter strangers, Noël soon gets a taste for the addictive rush of the duel, but questions of love and trust complicate every move she makes. Cutthroat games with grim consequences await her in a shadowy world of competitors all dueling for the greatest prize imaginable. A new story from Etzoli, that one butterfly who writes things. This is a side-adventure I've written during the pandemic, as I've been having a lot of trouble getting into the correct head-space for writing my main series (The Last Science). Expect some rougher bits. Schedule is sporadic, but this will be a shorter one (closer to Snipe or Epilogue in length). I hope you enjoy it! Let me tell you something: I'm an opportunist. As long there is some kind of demand there will be jobs. I do everything to survive in this painful land. Of course I won't tell you now because it may turn some heads away after all, but I will say if you ever fall to the bottom, you'll do anything and sacrifice most to scratch the top.Come and let me tell you my story...
8 67The Mythfits - Books 1 & 2
The key was never supposed to be seen again. It was destroyed after a group of mythical warriors locked away the embodiment of darkness. So, when the key reemerges in present-day New Orleans to an easy-going college student named Aidan, a group of what goes "bump in the night" comes seeking it intent on condemning the city to a “Purge” style curse. As if supernatural slammers, malevolent monsters, and hellish hexes weren't enough, Aidan discovers he and his friends are reincarnated from the original group of mythical warriors. Is history repeating itself or are ancient and deadly secrets from the past ready to reveal themselves? A pinch of primordial evil mixed with a fist full of Fat Tuesday and it's a recipe for one hell of a party.

With this newfound power to create worlds inside books he gets classified as a dungeon, well he was a dungeon, but now the people recognize him as a dungeon. Plus, is there any good adventure without the chance of death? So then why would Jacob baby the experience of exploring his Demi-planes? Yeah, sure, he may be slightly insane from the nothingness, but that is for another time. Yet, If anyone wants to take away his creation and passion, he will do far worse than just killing them would. The earlier chapters in the story have yet to be rewritten, and just from this brief stunt so far I have improved by a mile and more. So don't be surprised when you see the worst grammar of your life in them. But I must say I am terrible at grammar but amazing at coming up with a story. The minimum word count is, 1250 My schedule is really all over the place, so don't expect consistency. I will at least post 2 chapters per week. Cover art brought to you by kingdedede11
