《CARNAGE CARNIVORE - A dragon devouring faeries...-》Mealtime

The day was full and we returned to our base where we were greeted by Star, the head of the robots and Cabal's right-hand man. T
his gave me time to breathe and all these efforts were taxing my muscles. The dwarf got out of the tank, escorted by Star.
He didn't dare to say a word, lost but he could only admire the power and the insane dimension of my underground base.
He saw an army of robots lined up and greeting me as we descended onto the sloping platform. On top, the tank and the robot truck.
The elevator paused and then the tank and truck exited at one level. The noise of the machines was slightly covered by the moans of the elves in the cages.
Next to my huge heels, the dwarf was no match. Slowly, my scaly skin turned a ruby red.
He immediately lowered his head when my pupil met his gaze, but I didn't say a word.
I had goals.
We arrived in a kind of dining room.
The table was huge and must have been about 30 meters long.
On the seats sat lifeless gnomes and elves lying on their seats. The orange color of the lighting gave a sinister but warm atmosphere that a fireplace could give in a room without light.
Everything was massive, in stone and geometrically perfect in its cubism. The table was as if suspended in levitation as well as the seats. The light could hide the blood, the yellow light erasing the red and transforming it into the same color as the stone.
With a snap of the claws, food arrived from a levitating sphere, pushed by one of the robots who presented it to the dwarf and at the same time freed him from his restraints.
He sat down, terrified, and rubbed his wrists. A robot gave him a towel and a sheet to dry himself.
I was sitting at the other end of the table, just as long as he was in this huge room worthy of a demon lord's palace.
I then raised my wrist and glared at the dwarf who let out a small whimpering cry created by my terror.
"YOUR NAME MUST BE RALDUR, IF I UNDERSTAND CORRECTLY?"
The dwarf was as if in a trance and fell to his knees, pleading with me.
"YES, your majesty!!!your divinity.."
At these words, I smiled.
"From what I see, the elves have declared war on the mountain dwarves... and you were about to be executed.."
The dwarf, still on his knees did not dare to say a word.
Our best wine is served, a wine from beyond time...a Californian cabernet..The dwarf straightened up and sat down.
"Ah... I forgot where my manners are... My name is CARNAGE, Professor Carnage.... and this is my assistant Waspy, future Vespalian queen, a true fairy."
She was in her human form, with her hair in curls, a biker suit and transparent metal glasses, hiding her eyes. She came to join us at the table. And a robot officer came to join the table but did not sit down.
"I'm sorry, but I feed on energy. My name is Star!"
Then, one of the walls lit up, leaving a fat human figure. That of Cabal. It looked like Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, but it was only an impression. It was dark and gloomy, but it was oppressive.
I looked up at Cabal.
"I think our guest was able to see a show of our abilities."

Cabal: "Yes, no ammunition was wasted and the rare metals extracted from the weapons and armor will allow us to finish the launcher."
With a quick movement, I turned and stared at Raldur.
"I am listening..."
The dwarf was terrified and twiddling his thumbs and didn't know what to say or look at. He expected a cruel and monstrous interrogation and savored each breath as his last. He feared above all that I would ravage his people...
Seeing that this was going nowhere. I stood up straight, like a 10-story building.
"Listen, if you are alive, it's because I decided so. I heard your cry for help and your prayers."
The dwarf pulls himself together.
"WHO WHO WHO are you?"
I began to smile.
"I suppose the elves' war on you is the fact that you are finding traces of the ancient pre-Tyrant civilization, I guess.."
Ragul "It's taboo but there is so much to discover... We want to study the techniques but the elves want to melt everything..."
My eyebrow rose and the elves looked a moment more savory....
"I am the last of the old world...a doctor but also a genius. I saved most of the knowledge of my murdered civilization!"
Raldur: "Dragons?? you were dragons????"
"No... no... beings like you... like the elves but less racist. We had a huge technology and we started to explore the stars, the domain of the Gods... except that they were only extra-terrestrial.."
I began to laugh and to shake the base. And, sharp as a tack, my teeth as big as he was, were at his level.
He could have sat between my teeth, for comparison. Robots were immutable, and so was Waspy. With a snap of my claws, Cabal showed a movie of a city with a speeded-up view of people in traffic jams, skyscrapers, crops, children at school and on swings... well, life in the 21st century.
Ragul was mesmerized.
"This was what they looked like. The carts without horses attached... They drove by themselves, without a driver?"
Me: "And what you saw from the inside, that was the military version... We also had ships as big as a city and also ships in the sky"
He lowered his head, defeated by the destruction...
"When I say I am alone, it is not quite true but I have my reasons. I propose an alliance.... You gather the biggest Elf army to exterminate you. And some "golems" or "terminators" that you could observe will pulverize their armed force.
Raldur: "You want to beat them? Their army is invincible...They have Tyrant..."
With a snap of my claws, the screen changed to show an angel crucified on a concrete slab. It was torn in half, dead and held like an insect on a display plate. It was about 2 meters high and its body looked like molten glass, with deep golden patterns showing their intensions or expressions.
There were deep lacerations.
"This is a "Tyrant"... I extracted him from one of their ships that was fleeing the cataclysm and wanted to destroy me but their mage was useless against me, however mine wreaked havoc. I had to flee the cataclysm to survive but I pulverized their command deck and got past their shields. I extracted, dilacrated that 'God' and began to blow but the others fled, probably mortally wounded but their saucer crashed and they must have probably perished, their shields shattered.
The dwarf dropped to his knees and begged for mercy..."Lord Carnage... save us from Tyrant and the elves ...."

I was surprised at the speed of the negotiations. Then, on the chair in front of me, a naked elf lay at the end of the table.
"I love to invite guests to my table, and all of a sudden the sustentation chair passed behind the frightened dwarf and came in front of me.
Then, by telekinesis, the body arrived in my mouth and I closed the powerful jaws.
"MMMmm exquisite, these elves... a little taste of the forest, no.... subtle Truffle!
The dwarf's eyes popped out of their sockets as he watched me devour the elf like a megalodon. The meal is served! And robots brought the dwarf fries.
"I assure you, it's vegetarian.... plants that no longer exist... except here!... You'll do me the honor of tasting it, right?"
The dwarf began to cry and sob. He thought he was becoming a cannibal, but after the first bite, he didn't detect any meat or malice.
I began to laugh. But my teeth chattered like thunder and the dwarf flinched. He was on the verge of a heart attack and he had before him the absolute evil, the devil incarnate... The worst of the worst of his nightmares.
Wiping myself of my bloody meal, I stood up and beckoned the dwarf to follow me and behind him stood Waspy who frightened him as much as I did.
If she looked human, her shadow cast by the flames showed a mantis/wasp monstrosity. The huge sliding door opened, showing a sea of lava and the typical light that came from it.
I was still holding a piece of elf leg and my towel, but as I got closer to the magma, the whole thing started to smoke and then self-combust as I put my back leg into the lava and lay down in it.
The dwarf was next to Waspy who, silent, was in admiration of my prowess.
"AHHH. What a feeling! It makes me feel so good!"
the heat and my nature shocked the dwarf. How was it possible... to resist such a furnace?
Then, with a gesture, I made lava rise along my arm and it fell back to the other in a small waterfall. With a snap of my claw, the sea of magma came to life in waves and then everything stopped.
I was swimming like in a pool...The magma slid along my scales and I didn't get hot.
"You see, I can submerge in lava whoever I want, wherever I want, whenever I want. Armed or not..."
The dwarf was flat on his back... I was a god of the underworld, I was Vulcan to him... and he wasn't wrong....It reminded me when I was taken prisoner in a military base, before the cataclysm....and how I destroyed the underground base....by filling it with lava....nothing resisted.
I could still see myself in this huge room with a glass wall and a huge terrarium where they wanted to study me to know if I was more or less intelligent than a dog or a cat....
There were cubes in the room, no, giant dice and I moved them like a countdown.
A colonel wanted me dead. He had a big mustache and had tracked me from Nepal to here.
In fact, I let myself get caught, I wanted to explore the secret bases...
During the countdown, I pointed a claw of my paw against the wall and made a scriiitch and cut like glass the armored wall.
By the time they realized, I had a shield spell on me, and a speed spell.
The colonel finished ingested without having time to say anything.
"Mom! "
I think those were his only words as his brain was swallowed. Of course, I also absorbed his knowledge and all his confidential knowledge.
The alarm caused the entire section of the base to be sealed off, so that it was impossible to get out.
But when the lava arrived, everything was lifted, and I had only to let myself be carried to the exit, by the time all the tunnels were invaded, trapping and reducing to smoke everything that had ever been...
As I got out of my bath, the dwarf took a few leaps to the side to avoid the drops of lava running down my body.
"I want you to revive the ancestral forges.... I'll supply the power via channels under your mountain.
I have parts to make quickly.
You don't need wood or coal, geothermal energy will do...
A golem soldier will accompany you and give instructions to your craftsmen. You will be initiated to the techniques of the old world, but in exchange I want absolute loyalty and obedience.
I haven't tasted a dwarf yet, if you know what I mean..."
The dwarf withdrew and was escorted by Star to a drone helicopter.
He was terrified when he saw the hundreds of tanks of all shapes and types. A veritable army of extermination....
"What will become of me? Carnage is worse than anything... He is a god of the underworld...!"
After giving my instructions, I returned to the dining room and the elf had left me with a very good taste in my mouth.
Then, enjoying another bite, cracking his skull between my canines, and rinsing my mouth with a good wine, I started to look at Waspy.
She resumed her monster form and approached a cage that was brought into the room and cries of terror and defiance in the name of Tyrant were shouted at me.
I did not care.
She grabbed one of the captive elves by its scythes.
They were naked and neat, clean, but she chose the most talkative.
She pinned his neck and with her chelicerae, she tore off his lower lip and his defiance collapsed.
He was struggling and managed to escape but Waspy jumped 20 meters at once, also pushed by his wings hidden in elytra.
The thrust being explosive, she caught up with the elf and began to devour him like a praying mantis, like a 3D printer, but in reverse. He began to shake, his flesh torn from his bones and his eyes looking at a fixed point, as if begging a deity to stop his life and his suffering from being eaten alive.
The limbs had whole chunks of muscle missing but still throbbing in what remained.
Horror gripped the other elves as they shook the cage or tried to strangle themselves so they wouldn't be next but their hopes were cut short.
Waspy caught them one after the other, extracting them from the cage to plunge his stinger in their belly and deposit an egg, for a future larva... And they were walled up in human-sized cells where a sinister fate awaited them.

The Heroic Tales of Silas Horne
In the year 1858, the system came to the world. It brought with it beings from fantasy and mythology the likes of which the world had never seen before. In the American frontier, a place already known for being a dog eat dog world the system gave bandits the capacity for untold violence, not to mention monsters and system loving fanatics hell-bent on the murder of the innocent. But are they truly so innocent? No one knows what the system is or why it came, they do know one thing though. That the world post system isn't a place for a hero. Luckily for the world, U.S Marshall Silas Horne is no such man. ----- AN: This story is a litRPG inspired by "Randidly Ghosthound" and "The New World" but after reading many such stories and finding them to be a tad samey I decided to write this in a new setting, the Wild West. Also, my release schedule is chaotic, expect at least one 1000 word chapter each day but probably like two more will also be released.

MARY: The Dreadful
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] "You have to survive, Adam. You have to win." This is not a story starring Mary, because Mary is already dead. She bled out on her front doorstep following a sudden three-day absence. Seven years have passed, with her little brother—Adam—now standing at eighteen years of age. Following his sister's death, he lived the life of a delinquent, wandering the grimy streets of the city of Steeldale. All it amounted to was years of street fighting experience, no proper home and an uncertain future at a second-rate university. Unbeknowst to him, the day before university, he will be thrust from Steeldale into a brand new world. It is a world where a cherry red sky gazes down upon a fragmented continent, on which civilisations from other worlds have been dumped like refuse. The souls of man leak from their fingertips, coalescencing into superhuman powers and horrible fleshy monstrosities. Tribes of refugees clash against each other, attempting to carve out a place in this unrefined space. With no choice, Adam must traverse this dangerous new world, with Mary's shadow following him every step of the way. This is my entry to the April 2021 Writathon. Chapters will be posted as I write them.

A New Beginning
Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Danny had been stuck with the G.I.W for years when the Young Justice team rescued him. Broken, beaten, and none the wiser of the greater majority of humans, the humans with kindness in their eyes and light in their souls. He's been trapped in the darkness of greed and fear and violence for far too long, and what's left behind is a fractured mind and a trained weapon. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years. That child never expected to see the bright side to existence, to see the light shine in the souls of the righteous. That all changed with one group of heroes, and one family of Bats.Cover doesn't belong to me.Cross-published on two other sites*Undergoing heavy editing, nothing plot-wise is changing, I am only editing grammar, mechanics, vocabulary, sentence variation, and formatting and overall I am just making it a more pleasant and refined read :) I am also deleting the A/Ns at the beginning and end of each chapter
