Aiden's POV

Heading downstairs for breakfast, we exit the elevator and head toward the dining room. As we walk toward the dining room I smile as I steal a glance at Thaddeus. It feels so incredible to be able to feel him like this. Before we completed the mating, I could feel the bond, the pull to him, but this is so much more and so incredible!

As soon as we enter the dining room, I hear the loud voice of my sister as she screeches and runs toward me, engulfing me in a giant hug.

"Man, I thought you two were going to sleep all day!" Abigail said while squeezing the life out of me.

"I'm sorry, I slept in," I said with a blush on my face, thinking of the real reason I'm just now getting down here.

Abigail had a smile on her face as she pulled back from the hug. Her eyes suddenly go wide and she quickly looks at Thaddeus, then back at me before jumping up and down while squealing.

I was confused for a moment until she suddenly yelled and startled me.

"Oh my Goddess, you guys fully mated! I'm so happy for you!" Abigail said, grabbing me and pulling me back in for another bone-crushing hug.

Judging by the extreme heat in my face, I'm pretty sure my entire head is as red as a tomato. My ears are even hot! I'm quite certain this is the most embarrassed I've ever been in my entire life! 'She might as well have announced to the entire pack I had sex!' I thought as she squeezed the life out of me.

When she finally lets me go I'm relieved, thinking I can finally go sit down. But that relief was short-lived when I realized Zendaya was standing behind her.

I instantly feel the heat back in my face as the embarrassment comes flooding back. Embarrassed, knowing she heard my sister's loud mouth and is now aware I had sex... Great!

"I'm so happy for you and Thaddeus, welcome to the family sweetheart!"

Zendaya said with a smile on her face, then leaned in and hugged me. I was thankful she didn't make such a fuss and didn't embarrass me as my sister did.

I smiled as I hugged her back, and realized she was so much more than my first friend, she's family.

As I turn to face the table, I see Marcus and Xander congratulating Thaddeus, and I couldn't help but feel the heat come back to my face again. 'Great!... More people that know I had sex!' I thought as I watched them take their turn hugging Thaddeus.

Finally heading to the table, I go to sit down in the seat next to Thaddeus. As I stepped next to him and reached for my chair, strong arms suddenly wrapped around me and yanked me into his lap. An embarrassing squeak escaped me from the sudden movement.

I turned to look at Thaddeus, surprised, just to see the biggest smirk on his face which caused me to glare at him.

I tried to get up but his grip only tightened. My head whips around when I hear my sister giggle, and the sound of others trying not to laugh. I huff and decide I might as well get comfortable. I adjust myself on his lap, then lean back against his chest.

Thaddeus's left arm wraps around my waist. His hand slides under my shirt and rests against my stomach. His thumb rubs gently against my skin, leaving little tingles and causing goosebumps to spread across my stomach. He leans into me, resting his chin on my shoulder as we both eat.

I love the sensation of his thumb rubbing against my skin, feeling the warmth of his body against my back, and his face next to mine as his chin rests on my shoulder. I love every moment of this. It's relaxing, I feel so at peace, and so happy.

Everything's fine until I realize something horrible... I'm purring!

As soon as I realized this I stopped chewing, fork mid-air and instantly look around. And to my horror, everyone's looking dead at me, smiling.

I've never been more embarrassed in my life! I've never even purred before today!

I quickly placed my fork back into my plate, then turned in Thaddeus's lap and buried my face in his neck, trying to hide my embarrassment.

Thaddeus grips my waist tighter and wraps his other arm around me. I feel his face against my head as he hugs me.

"Don't be embarrassed baby, I love your purr so much!" Thaddeus said through the link.

"Yeah, well you weren't the one purring just now!" I replied.

Thankfully I was able to eat the rest of my meal without any further embarrassing moments.

After a long day of training, I was excited for movie night. Abigail had this amazing idea for a movie night. Apparently, there's a theater room in the basement. I was so excited I was practically bouncing on my way back to the room to get ready.

I wanted to get into some comfy clothes. I'm thinking sweatpants and a t-shirt kind of night, I thought smiling to myself.

After freshening up and changing we head downstairs. Thaddeus chuckled at me, I could barely stand still, I was practically bouncing in place as I waited impatiently for the elevator to take us to the basement.

As we walked into the theater room, I was in awe. I've never seen what a real movie theater looks like, and couldn't help but wonder if this is what one actually looks like. I suppose they might be a little bigger since they're in the city and need to accommodate more people, but still, this is impressive to me! I've never seen anything like it!

As I looked around, I saw a big white screen and four rows of seating. Each row is set higher than the row in front of it, and each chair was large enough for two people to snuggle up and recline in.

By the time I finally snapped out of it, I saw Thaddeus pulling himself out of his wheelchair and into the first seat in the front row. As soon as he was situated, I climbed in next to him and snuggled in against Thaddeus.

As Xander walked by, he had a handful of blankets. He opened one up and draped it over us before passing one to Zendaya.

"Think fast babe!" Xander yells as he chucks a blanket at her. Abigail lifts her face just in time for her face to catch the blanket. She sits there for a moment not moving, with the blanket. Still hanging from her head.

Xander of course immediately broke down laughing, and Abigail groaned before pulling the blanket off her face and then glaring at him, which caused Xander to cough, trying to cover up his laughter.

As Zendaya and Abigail left to grab drinks and popcorn, I folded my arm on Thaddeus's chest, then rested my chin on it to look at him.

His eyes raked over my face, almost as if he was trying to memorize every detail before landing on my eyes. His hand raises to my face before I feel his fingers gently run along the side of my face. Little tingles dance across my skin from his touch.

I can't believe how magical this feels, how surreal all of this is. It feels like it was just yesterday, I was sleeping on a cold hard floor. Starving, in pain, and forced to work before anyone was even awake, and work until late in the evening, without anything to eat, my body was barely able to keep going. Collapsing onto my old worn sleeping bag, fully exhausted at the end of the day, just to wake up in the morning, and do it all over again. Feeling alone, unloved, and hated.

But I feel his warmth under me, his arm wrapped around me, with his hand under my shirt, his palms resting against my skin as his thumb gently caresses my side. I see the tender look he's giving me, and I feel the love he has for me, both through the bond, and pouring out of him. I can see it and feel it.

"I love you so much!" I said softly and watched his smile spread, and his eyes tear up.

"I love you too, sweetheart! So very much!" He said, before pressing his lips to mine.

I hear Zendaya and Abigail talking as they walk back into the room, both carrying a tray full of popcorn and drinks for everyone.

Xander picked the first movie, and of course, it was a comedy. Land of the Lost, and I have to admit it was pretty funny.

Abigail chose the second movie, Twilight. Although you would have thought we were watching a comedy the way Abigail and Xander laughed throughout almost the entire movie.

Although, I actually kind of liked it. I thought the love story was sweet, although I would have much rather seen Bella choose Jacob instead of a vampire.

Thaddeus POV

I really didn't pay attention to the movies. I couldn't keep my eyes off of Aiden, enjoying having him cuddled up in my arms.

He laid on my right side, with his head resting on my shoulder and chest, with his arm and leg wrapped around me. My right arm wrapped around his waist with my hand under his shirt, palm resting against his skin... This is definitely my new favorite thing to do. I love feeling his skin under my hand. I love sliding my hand under his shirt and feeling his stomach, his back, or his sides against my palm. I love feeling his warmth, and the tingles that dance against my hand from touching him. I just can't get enough of it! I gently rub my thumb against his skin and feel the little goosebumps spreading across his side.

I smile, I don't even think he realizes he's doing it. As I rub light little patterns over his skin, the beautiful sound of his purr could be heard. But every time I stopped, so did his purr. As soon as I started moving my finger again, almost immediately I would hear the sound of his beautiful purr again. I thought it was the cutest thing ever!

I smiled and closed my eyes as I listened to his beautiful little purr. Listening to that little motor and knowing what it meant. It means he's happy, it's what every Omega does when they're happy and feel safe. Knowing he finally feels safe, and he's finally happy after everything he's gone through, makes my heart swell and I press a kiss to his head.

I know he's embarrassed when he purrs, and I found it's quite common in abused Omegas. Usually, when they are abused, they're not used to purring. They're used to constantly being afraid and hurt.

As an alpha, I don't purr, but I can croon. I suppose it's similar to a purr, Although it's much deeper, rougher, and louder. A croon comes from deeper inside your chest, whereas an Omega or submissive Delta 3's purr comes from higher up, near their collarbone.

An Alpha doesn't croon just a croon. We do it to relax and calm someone down. It has an amazing effect on someone having a panic attack, or if someone is scared.

It's also very effective on kids, I've had to use it a few times, and one specific time stands out the most. It was when I rescued an 11-year-old kid from a horrific situation. The poor kid was starved and abused so badly that he couldn't even walk. He was terrified of everyone, I constantly had to croon to calm him down. A single touch would throw him into a panic attack. If I didn't croon in time, he would pass out from lack of oxygen.

That little boy broke my heart, and Zeus and I were determined to put that little boy back together. I can't wait for him to come home so I can introduce him to Aiden.
