Anchor 2.42.3 - That time I was reincarnated into another world and tracked down my prey via boat
I burst through the door of the ship, carrying an armful of swords I'd found below-decks. "Alright!" I shouted down to my harem members. "We'll take this one!"
I hadn't completed my full analysis of the docked ships and their Combat Potential, but this one had a captain's chair with a cool skull design and red velvet cushions. I knew without looking that the other boats wouldn't be able to surpass the cool factor. I jumped into the wet puddle the sailor had left with his swabbing, splashing water up around me while I executed a rare boardless grind across the deck of the boat. I slid into the railing of the ship, letting my momentum frontflip me over the side.
Plunging towards the dock below, I executed a superhero landing, hitting the dock in a crouch and blasting straight through the wood and into the water below. Thinking quickly, I activated [Instant Transmission] to transmit myself instantly back up to the dock, still in my landing position. I raised my head with a cocky smirk, water dripping from my head. Heh. Looks like nobody noticed. I congratulated myself on my cool entrance as I stood up and wrung water out of my Generic Isekai Tracksuit-like-outfit.
"Are you ready to get going, gang?" I asked. "We're burning daylight, and everybody knows [Ghosts] get stronger at night."
Without waiting for a response, I turned and marched up the gangplank, confident they would be right behind me. As I surveyed the ship, I frowned in mild irritation. There were still a few sailors on-board. They seemed pretty slow on the uptake, and must not have heard that the [King] had given me this boat. There were two of them on the deck, halting in their conversation as they saw me. I walked towards them, reaching into my [Dimension Box].
"Hey, I don't know who you think you-"
"X," I replied, cancelling his pointless NPC dialogue. I pulled my hand out of my inter-dimensional storage and shoved a bag of gold into his stomach, before activating [Teleportation (Minor)] to teleport him onto the beach.
The second sailor jumped back in surprise, probably because of how big the sack was. It was true that I was probably being overly generous by giving them money when the ship had already been promised to me, but I guess if I had any flaws (which was extremely unlikely) it would be my kindness.

"W-what the hell just ha-"
"X," I said, dismissing and teleporting him as well. I quickly went below-decks and cleaned up a few more of the sailors that were infesting my boat, giving it a good sweep to make sure it was properly empty. Perfect! This ship was ready to roll! I noticed that the [King] had even been kind enough to stock it with supplies, furniture, and personal belongings as well! I exited back to the deck of the ship, and found that Ciel, Wanda, and Bonbon had managed to get onboard! Looks like we were ready to go!
"You guys ready to set sail?" I asked, mostly rhetorically. Ciel pumped her fist in the air and gave an "Uoh!" of excitement. Bonbon wasn't crying hysterically, so it seemed like she was having a good time as well. But Wanda was uncharacteristically quiet, looking nervously around the ship.
"Is everything okay, Wanda?" I asked, my brows furrowing out of concern for my adorable dog-girl slave. She looked up at me and took a deep breath, before breaking into her usual wide smile.
"Wan! Wanda is fine, Master, wan! But Wanda wants to go back to the [Paladin] town, wan!"
I chuckled to myself. Looks like I'd been worried about nothing. I gave her some headpats just for being cute.
"Sure, maybe after we murder that ghost," I told her, winking with one eye and holding a finger up. "But only if you behave!"
With my harem appropriate hyped up, it was time to get going!
"All aboard that's going aboard!" I shouted, kicking away the gangplank. It looks like I was just in time; one of the sailors had been trying to get back on. Thankfully, he pitched into the water as the gangplank tumbled from the side of the boat. That was close!
I quickly drew my katana and cut the rope holding the anchor. The anchor successfully foisted, the boat began to drift away from the dock, a calm riptide carrying it further out into the ocean. I waved goodbye to the small crowd that had gathered on the dock. They waved back and hurled obscenities and parting gifts, wishing us a good voyage. I smiled at the heartwarming farewell. But now...
I clapped my hands together, turning back towards my crew. (TL Note: Crew means harem. This is usually the case when you're on the seas for long enough, but especially so now.)
"Alright! Who knows how to sail?" I asked.
"Wan... I do," Wanda replied.
"Heh... no worries," I chuckled. I had expected that nobody would know how to drive a boat, but I'd been prepared for such an eventuality. "I'll just learn [Sa- wait, what?"
"I know how to sail, wan." Wanda repeated. I stared at her silently, and Ciel half-raised her hand as well.
"Same. It's been a few years since I was on a ship, but I know a bit too, yeah."
"I've sailed several times on my journeys," Bonbon added helpfully. "I may not be anything resembling an expert, but I believe I've picked up enough to help out."
I crossed my arms, tsunder-ing to the side and scratching my cheek.
"Fine. That's fine. I'm glad you guys can all help out," I pouted, learning [Sailing Basics - Lvl 1] using my [Instantly Learn Skill] skill to make me feel better.
"Unbutton the mainsail, wan!" Wanda ordered Ciel, before walking over to the rope that held the anchor before and staring at the cut end for some reason. She turned to give me an odd look before turning and pointing to Bonbon. "Wan! Cache the windbreaks and rewind the boom arm, wan!"

Bonbon gave a quick salute and started fucking around with some ropes. Huh. It looked like Wanda was running a pretty tight ship, unexpectedly. I debated shoving her out of the way so that she didn't overshadow me, but then remembered that she was my [Slave], and so anything she did I could take credit for! Still... at least for the sake of appearances...
I moved to the Captain's chair, behind the steering wheel thing up on the top floor of the boat. I quickly used [Instant Change (Outfit)] to change into a cool pirate costume, complete with a cape. The voice of robo-Kamiko echoed in the back of my head.
New Title Gained: [Captain]!
I grinned a smile. Perfect. I thrust my arm out, pointing down at my [Slave], while making sure my cape flared out behind me in a badass way.
"Wanda!" I shouted down to her, "as the [Captain] of this ship, my first order is this:"
My crew stopped and looked up at me, probably hanging on my every word.
"Keep doing what you're doing!"
Wanda gave me a nod, then turned back towards the others.
"Wan! Keelhaul the aft sail, and batter the hatches, wan!"
I relaxed in my cool-ass pirate chair while the rest of the crew ran about doing ship-related errands. I wasn't sure about the commands Wanda kept shouting. I recognized some of the terms, but didn't know enough about sailing to tell what they meant. Plus, this was a Kickass Isekai Fantasy LitRPG world, so they might have completely different ship terminology over here. But, none of that mattered right now!
I grinned as the ship accelerated further into the ocean, cutting through the waves like some kind of wave knife. I was embarking on another adventure! Not just a nautical adventure, but a FANTASY nautical adventure! I bet I'd run into all kinds of cool shit! Mythical creatures, like mermaids, or krakens, or whales! Dangerous storms! Ghost pirates! That last one especially, because I had a bone to pick.
Regardless of what I encountered, I knew one thing for sure: the excitement had only just begun!
This boat trip... was so BORING!
I groaned and leaned forward against the steering wheel, letting my body go limp to fully indicate how bored I was. We'd been traveling for hours, and nothing had happened! Ciel was up in the Bird Tower or whatever you called it. Bonbon had gone down below to see what the food situation looked like. Wanda was doing the 'King of the World' bit at the front of the ship, like in that one old movie about the big boat. I groaned internally. We'd been traveling for hours and not a SINGLE monster attack, or magical fire, or anything besides water, more water, and the occasional bird. This was lame! Wasn't sailing supposed to be exciting?
"Wasn't sailing supposed to be exciting?" I asked, out loud.
Ciel, who seemed to be having fun somehow, shrugged down at me, hanging her arm over the edge of the basket.
"You're not having fun, Hiro-kun? We're on a BOAT, man! That's cool all on its own! Right Wan-chan?"
"Huh?" Wanda asked. "Oh, um... yep, wan!"
I crossed my arms, only slightly impressed by the fact that boats were really cool.
"Maybe," I admitted, "but I was hoping for all kinds of nautical battles or monster attacks or things like that."
"Those are actually pretty rare, y'know," Ciel admonished me. "When I was going across the ocean to transfer to the All-Female Paladin Order, we only had two sea monster attacks, and we were on the sea for at least a week or two."
A... a WEEK?! Sailing across the entire world in my video games usually only took like 2-3 minutes at most! I couldn't wait that long! It looks like I'd have to do something drastic...
"Alright..." I said to nobody in particular. "Let's speed this journey up!"
I closed my eyes and activated my trump card:
[Montage Mastery - Lvl 4]
"So... there's no seafood in it?" I asked. Bonbon had found some ingredients in the ship's kitchen/ barber shop / medical bay, and had whipped us up an authentic sailing dish.
"No, it's mostly salted meats of various types. That and the crust, which is just flour and butter." Bonbon replied.
I stared at the pie, my stomach growling. It did smell pretty good. I was a little disappointed that there was no seafood in it, but I guess if we didn't have any in the food stores, we had to make do with what we had! Still...
"If there's no seafood in it, why's it called a sea pie?"
"Because it's made at sea. You don't need an oven for it, so it's a pie you can make on a ship."
I jerked back in shock. "Pies are made in the oven?!"
"W-what?" Bonbon asked, looking at me in confusion.
Wanda lunged forwards suddenly, digging into the pie with a fork. "Wan!"
"W-Wanda san! L-let me cut it first!" Bonbon protested, reaching out helplessly.
"And then if you pull it like this, you get a bowline knot!" Ciel said, tugging on the loop she'd just tied at the end of the rope. I nodded in understanding.
"So, like... this?" I secretly activated [Knot-tying Basics - Lvl 1], which I'd learned on the sly (using [Instantly Learn Skill]). My hands moved automatically, creating a perfect knot to match hers. Ciel looked down at it and nodded, slapping me on the back.
"Nice job, Hiro-kun! You're a fast learner, huh?"
I smiled. "Yeah. You might say that I'm an instant learner!" I replied, winking to the audience.
"Huh? Uh, sure, I guess."
I patted my back internally for my successful joke and turned to look at Wanda's example.
"Wan! You just adjust the tightness here, and the Kinbaku is complete, wan!"
I nodded to myself, scratching my chin. I had been wondering how they held people prisoner, since I doubted they had handcuffs in this Isekai world. This made a lot of sense.
"Yeah, that does look pretty hard to get out of," I mused.
"W...Wanda-san... P-please untie me..." Bonbon gasped, her face bright red for some reason.
"Not yet, wan!"
"Wan!" Wanda informed me, "Master, we should probably turn around, wan!"
"Huh?" I asked, turning around in my cool captain's chair to look at her in confusion. Was this mutiny? I narrowed my eyes. [Slave] or not, I wasn't about to stand here and be muttoned.
"...why's that?" I asked, my voice thick with suspicion.
"Wan! I accidentally ate all the food in the kitchen, wan! We need to go back and get more supplies."
I blinked in surprise. All the food in the kitchen? I was pretty sure it'd been fully stocked before we left.
"All of the food?" I asked, disbelieving.
"Yup! All of it, wan!"
Wow. I was hardly even upset. I was more impressed than anything else! They'd had enough stores that it would have probably lasted for a good month.
"When you say 'accidentally'..."
"Wan! I tripped, wan!"
I nodded. That made sense. Still... there was no reason why we had to go back. I could see why she was upset, but she'd have to just put up with slightly reduced rations. Namely, not an entire kitchen in a day.
"Well... I think we'll be fine," I told her. "Bonbon and I both have [Create Food] after all, so..."
"Wan! But isn't [Create Food] only gross or plain food? Master deserves only the best food! Best food for the Best Master!"
I blushed and chuckled, reaching out to give her headpats for her obvious brown-nosing.
"Well, you're right about all the things you just said, but I think we'll still be okay. Bonbon has her [Short Order Chef] ability, and I have my..." I froze, staring at her with wide eyes. I... I'd almost revealed my [FoodHub] [Cell Phone Arte]! She couldn't know about my [Brain Cell Phone], or anything else related to my world. I'd have to think fast.
"A-and I have my Bonbon!" I replied, chuckling nervously.
She deflated slightly, but nodded.
"Wan... I still think we should turn around, Master."
"Huh? Why?"
Her tail stopped wagging entirely, and she sighed. She closed her eyes, and when she opened them again, they looked a lot tired than they had before. This was pretty impressive, considering she constantly had bags under her eyes.
"Well... I guess I should tell you everything, wan..." She took a deep breath. "A long time ago, I-"
I stood at the steering wheel of the ship, one hand on the wheel tooth, the other hand holding a compass I had found. I wasn't using it to navigate, since my target had finally come into view, but I did need it for the effect. I snapped it shut, tucking it into a jacket pocket.
"Wan..." Wanda mused from her dog bed next to my chair. "W-wait... what happened? Wasn't I just...?"
"[Montage Mastery]," I explained. "That scene was over, so now we're on this one."
Wanda paled. "On... this... W-wan! Hiro-san, the scene wasn't done! I was about to explain-"
"No time for that now, Wanda!" I chastised her. "Your cool-ass backstory or whatever can wait for a less important time. Right now, I've got a ghost to kill."
I pointed forwards with my katana, guiding her eyes towards the spot in the distance. Silhouetted against the setting sun, a ship had come into view. A particularly ghostly ship.
Next to me, Wanda started trembling and going pale, while Ciel was readying her weapons and armor, and Bonbon was tying her apron and arranging the curative foods she'd created using her [Short Order Chef]. I looked at Wanda, feeling a little guilty. I hadn't realized she was cared of ghosts! Maybe I should have listened to her when she said we should turn around. Still... it was too late for that! We'd already arrived at the crossroads of destiny!
"Ghostbeard..." I growled, clenching my fist. "Tonight, we end this. Once and for all!"

Harry Potter: Dimensional Wizard
Edward was reincarnated into the world of Harry Potter, an act which excites him giving the fact that this was one of his favorite books. So, he embarks on the path of wizardry in the hope of discovering the way it works, the laws or theories that govern it; he wanted to find its essence. He tries to find the answer to questions like What is the soul. Why can wizards use magic, while muggles cannot? Do bloodlines truly exist? And if so, what use is it to wizards? Could it be the reason that some wizards are born with exceptional talents like Parselmouth or Metamorphmagus? When Edward finally uncovers the answers to these questions he pondered on, he suddenly thought to himself: "Since the world of Harry Potter is real, what about all the other anime, movies, games, and books that I read from my past life? And if they are indeed real, how I can I get there?" This story is an Infinite Stream novel where the mc travels through different anime and movie worlds acquiring various magical abilities and knowledge to become a supreme wizard that stands on the top of countless dimensions and universes. Warnings: The MC will spend a great deal of time in the Harry Potter World before going to other worlds.I have not decided whether the [Curse Child] is canon or not. I do not care what JK Rowling said. This is a pseudo-science explanation of magic, so take it with a grain of salt. I am an amateur writer with not-so-good grammar, so any constructive criticism is appreciated. This is a wish-fulfillment and Gary Stu-type novel so read at your convenience. If this is not your kind of thing, then move along and do not complain about it later. Although this fanfic will be a Harem, the mc will not have a thousand women. Most likely, I will write so that he has a certain relationship with some female characters, then he will leave her in her own universe. Only a few will follow him in his journey. Also, a few men will be in his group. THIS IS NOT A YAOI. Disclaimer: All the characters--except the one created by me--belong to JK Rowling.

An Extra-Ordinary Story about Ordinary People
In a different world, a different reality, where ordinary people occasionaly have extra-ordinary powers for no particular reason, we follow a number of characters, trying their best to live in this strange yet normal world. We have our first character, a currently nameless but sentinent creature who happened to find himself in the body of a strange fungus after an unknown incident that robbed him of not only his former body but of his memory, as well. Secondly, we follow Smith, a high-standing man who doesn't even need to explain which Smith he is, on top of the world, yet human enough to meet said fungus. And thirdly, we have another nameless character, who is burdened by the ability to summon things that he doesn't want. A charming gang, who will (most likely) meet at some point. --- All and all, it's a twist on the common super-hero world, where all super-heroes have somehow dissappeared, but not the possibility for new ones. The series that feature the mushroom-dude are the 123 ones, the stories that feature Smith are the ABC ones, and the ones that feature our newest character, the summoner-dude, are the abc ones. Neat, huh? Also, just a word of warning? The 123 ones are kind wierd, and you can skip the first few chapters and go straight to the ABC ones without missing too much. But I'd rather you didn't, since i really enjoyed writing them. In ABC and abc, the format changes to a more typical form, with proper grammar and stuff. So if you dont like the 123, I'd love it if you gave the ABC a chance :^) Anyhow, I hope you enjoy it!
