《A Dance With Hades》Twenty|Contact Lenses

After he kept banging against my door for a good twenty minutes, I opened it and the first thing he did was pull me into a heated kiss.

Fuck, I don't know how long we stood there kissing, but my mind went fogging and our little fight was long forgotten.

He apologised for what had happened and we just talked about random things after that before falling asleep in his bed .

But I'm kind of upset with myself for forgiving him so easily just because he kissed me with so much passion.

I'm weak for that.

I try to move away from him, but his arms tighten around my waist. His eyes are still closed and he looks so peaceful this way.

I definitely didn't plan to spend the night in his bed, but here I am.

That Laura girl was shouting at me to get out of the penthouse when I let her in, that was my first mistake, but luckily Angelo and Nicola threw her out.

Then some Hannah chick was texting him non stop and I couldn't send a reply because his phone is password protected.

When she called him, I took that as my chance to tell her off. I don't like the thought of other women calling him.

He is my man now so they should back off. I know he wouldn't cheat on me, well that's what I'm hoping for, but I just know he won't.

I really like Vincenzo and want to keep this relationship going for however long we can keep the flame burning, but if another women pops up, I'm leaving.

Vincenzo groans underneath me as I trace my finger along his toned chest. There's a tattoo of a sun and moon on his left peck.

I've actually been waiting for him to wake up because when I first woke up, I noticed the case on his night stand. It wasn't there when we fell asleep so I opened it to find his hazel eyes in there.

Vincenzo has contact lenses.

I knew that his hazel eyes didn't fit in with his features because they aren't his actual eye colour.

I have no idea why he would hide his real eye colour but I badly want to see what it is.

"Amore," he mumbles in a gruff tone and I smile at his sexy morning voice.

I wouldn't mind waking up to someone who sounds like this every morning for the rest of my life.

"Morning Enzo," I whisper as I wait for him to open his eyes.

He smiles at me, his eyes still closed and I frown. I move up against his body, causing some friction between us, but I don't care at this moment.

Vincenzo pinches his eyes tighter together when he feels my face coming closer to his.

"Open your eyes," I demand softly while placing my hand on the side of his face, but he shakes his head. "Why not?"

"No reason," he lies with that smirk of his and I groan.

"I know you have contacts," I state while patting his cheek. "Just let me see your eyes Enzo," I say while cupping his face between both my hands.

"You won't like them."

"Try me."

"Amore, they aren't n–"

"Just don't for me Enzo," I plead before pecking his soft lips. I move away from his face, but keep my hands on his cheeks.

He lets out a heavy breath as he opens both his eyes. My eyes widen at the odd colour and he immediately frowns. "You don't like them," he mumbles while turning to the side, causing me to slip off his body.

Vincenzo sits up and turns away from me. He tries to grab the case that contains his contact lenses, but I quickly throw my body over his and grab the case from the nightstand first.

Without even second guessing myself, I open the case and throw the contact lenses across the room.

"Amore!" He shouts at my drastic actions and I only smile at him as I throw my legs over his to straddle his lap. "I need those," he grumbles and I shake my head.

"Why do you hide your natural eye colour?"

"Because it isn't natural, amore," he sighs while looking down between our bodies.

His hands find their way to my waist and he forces me further down on his lap, his morning hard on pressing against my core.

He's trying to distract me.

"So are mine," I say, ignoring the urge to roll my hips against his hard on.

He looks up into my eyes with his beautiful eyes and my heart just melts.

"But you don't see me hiding my eyes," I say while blinking a few times to emphasis how I let people see my rare eye colour.

"I've always hid my eyes," he admits with a shrug and I sadly shake my head. "The contacts make me look normal."

"Is Lorenzo like this too?" He nods and I sigh. "Y'all shouldn't be hiding y'alls eyes. I like your eyes Enzo," I whisper while cupping his face.

I lift his head up a little higher to get a look at his amazing eyes and he smiles up at me.

"Our kids will have the most extraordinary eye colours," he says without stuttering or fumbling over his words to show me that he is sure of what he is saying.

"You want kids with me?" He nods while leaning forward. He places a gentle kiss on my lips before moving to my cheek. "Isn't it too soon to think about kids?"

"Amore, I want to spend the rest of my life with you so of course I want your kids," he chuckles while kisisng my cheek. "But we'll talk about this later, let's go have some breakfast."

Vincenzo gets up from the bed and I wrap my legs around his hips. He walks out of his bedroom while I nuzzle my head into the crook of his neck. He has this natural earthy smell to him and I'm totally in love with it.

Soon enough he puts me down on the kitchen counter and I lift my head from his neck. "I'll make you some breakfast," he says while kissing my cheek.

Vincenzo walks around the kitchen, grabbing ingredients for a simple breakfast, some of them not really fitting with what he's making, but I'm not going to question him until he's done making breakfast.

It's cute that he's doing something as simple and small as making me breakfast. I would've never seen something like this coming from someone like him, but I appreciate it.

My plan of making him hate has gone out of the window.

I never thought that a man like Vincenzo would be this nice to me.

I thought he was going to be possessive and controlling, well he is kind of possessive.

Italian men.

I don't mind him being a bit possessive of me because I'm his woman after all. He '

s very protective too, which makes him get jealous easily.

When he was telling me to not to walk around the penthouse with only a towel to cover my body, I could see the jealousy brewing on his face.

He was mostly angry because Nicola and Angelo got to see me like that, in a way he only wants himself to see me.

After a while of waiting on the cold kitchen counter, Vincenzo turns around with two plates in hand. He sets on of the plates to the side as he walks to me with the other one.

He stands between my legs and pulls me closer to his body. "I know you don't like eating a lot so here is something small," he says while lifting the bagel in the plate. "Open up amore."

This man sure likes feeding me.

I open my mouth for him and he brings the bagel closer to my mouth. I bite the side, getting a mix of different flavours in that one bite. I take another bite from the bagel, this time bigger than the previous bite.

"What's in this?" I ask while covering my full mouth with my hand. He quickly brings the plate closer when something oozing out of the bagel.

"A pouched egg, pan fried asparagus es* with some lemon, salmon and a few herbs," he says while bringing the bagel up to my mouth and I gladly take another bite out of it.

"This is really good," I mumble between my chewing and he smiles as he waits for me to finish chewing. I take another bite from the bagel and moan at how delicious this is.

"Amore." I hum in response while chewing. "My family wants to meet you, tonight," he says and I almost choke on my food.

I quickly swallow my food and look at him with a look of disbelief. "Don't you think it's too soon for something like that?" I ask while leaning back.

"They found out about us and have been bugging me about meeting you. My mother even threatened to haul the entire family over here if I don't bring you over tonight," he sighs while putting my breakfast to the side.

"I don't want to rush you into things," he says while looking up at me with those beautiful eyes of his. "I don't know how long I can prolong them meeting you but–"

"It's fine."

"Really?" I nod and he frowns. "Amore, you've been going against my rules. I said verbal answers."

"Whatever Vincenzo," I huff while hopping off the counter.

He groans. "There you go with the attitude again."

"Thanks for he breakfast," I sigh before walking out the kitchen.
