"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

Bakugou had already experienced the pleasure of hearing Todoroki swear. He also just so happened to be in the staff room talking to All Might when Todoroki burst through the door. Both All Might and Bakugou stopped, watching as the boy ran to Aizawa, "Is he good?" Bakugou had asked.
"(Y/N)'s late," All Might replied.
"She didn't call to let him know?" Bakugou mumbled. "She always does."
At that comment, All Might stood up, being followed by Bakugou soon after. They hadn't heard what Aizawa said on their way over (having being out of earshot), but they definitely did hear Todoroki.
"FUCK!"
Everyone stopped what they were doing, keeping their shocked gazes on Todoroki as he hastily reached for Aizawa's office phone. His hands shook as he put your number in, and Bakugou didn't understand what the rush was for. He approached Aizawa, crossing his arms. "Oi, Half-and-Half, what's with all the haste?"
"SHUT UP!" Todoroki's outburst had everyone jump in surprise, never having heard that kind of tone from him. It was only when Bakugou looked at Todoroki's mark flashing red along his neck did he understand the urgency of the situation.
Todoroki couldn't stop his hand from shaking as he held the phone to his ear, sitting in gut-wrenching suspense as he hoped to the gods that you'd pick up.
When you finally did, he wasted no time.
"(Y/N)! Where are you right now?!"
"I'm uh. . ." He felt frustration grow with his urgency as he waited for you to answer. "I'm at the Skytree with Jasper. Shouto, did you know I just fucked up the Shanghai Tower?"
"Did you say you were with Jasper?" Todoroki confirmed, feeling his heart stop.
"Yeah."
Todoroki slammed his hand on Aizawa's desk as he shouted into the phone, his heart beating erratically. "(Y/N), get out of there! He's not there to help you. I need you to leave!"
"Shouto, what—"
"He's not here to assist you in the way you think. He's not trying to help you control your power and fix everything; he's trying to release your power."
He listened to you curse to yourself, and all he could hear was shuffling.
"It's locked!"
Todoroki couldn't help but throw his hands up, his worry coming out agitated. "(Y/N), for crying out loud, your whole thing is controlling metal, figure something out!"
Suddenly there was a loud bang on your end of the call, setting his heart rate into overdrive. "(Y/N)?! Hey! Are you alright?!"
Aizawa abruptly stood up from his seat, looking at Todoroki with a mix of confusion and panic. "What's going on, kid?"
Todoroki didn't answer, instead walking away to hear better. He heard Jasper talk, but was struggling to make out what he was saying.
"OI, HALF-AND-HALF, WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" Bakugou shouted, preventing Todoroki from hearing a single thing.

Todoroki felt his anger bubble over, and in a bout of rage, let out an eruption of ice aiming straight for the spikey-haired kid. The temperature of the room immediately dropped, and panic lined the walls as everyone jumped back. Everyone but Aizawa (although he was still rather panicked) was in a frenzy.
Bakugou didn't say anything, looking at Todoroki with a look of shock. Aizawa pulled Todoroki to the side aggressively, talking in a low voice so only he could hear. "I get that you're stressed right now, but it better be for a good damn reason before you get suspended for using your quirk against a student out of training hours."
Todoroki spun to look at Aizawa, a very deadly glare on his face. "You know that guy you seemed to trust so much with (Y/N)? Guess who's just attacked and taken her."
Aizawa didn't hesitate to curse before turning to everyone in the staff room, shutting up their mutters immediately. "Listen here. I want a search and rescue out on parole 24/7 for (Y/N) (L/N). I want someone to track her phone. I need security footage, witnesses, even fucking dash cams. I want a full fucking team over at Tokyo contacted right now to search for her."
Everyone paused for a moment, a little bit confused about what was happening. Thus lead Aizawa to scream out, "NOW!"
People scrambled in and out of the office, calling people and rushing to get other staff members.
"You," Aizawa said, pointing to Todoroki. "You and I are going to the Skytree now."
"Oi, what's happening?!" Bakugou shouted in confusion, watching everyone speed around.
"Someone will tell you!" Todoroki waved him off as he and Aizawa left.
As they rushed out of the door, Aizawa spoke up, "He's using her quirk to create beacons."
Todoroki frowned, huffing lightly as he ran to Aizawa's car, "What?"
"The reason why her quirk is destroying and fixing buildings is because they're being used as pillars. Once they're up and ready to use, her quirk will use it as a way to get to all the shit in space."
Todoroki felt his heart drop, "LIKE THE SATELLITES?"
"Exactly!" Aizawa flung open the door to the car, basically throwing himself in the seat. When Todoroki got in and put his seatbelt on, Aizawa sped off. "Her quirk will bring down the satellites from up there. Yes, the satellites will be burned as they're dragged through the atmosphere, but there will still be chunks that haven't been incinerated that will crash into the earth. Jasper knew this and is now using this as an advantage rather than helping her stop it."
"We're gonna need to contact people all over the world to tell them to get out of any tall building."
"I'm already on top of that. Got a whole team on it."
They sat in silence for a moment before Todoroki abruptly sat up in his seat.
"The pain," Todoroki said. "Those random bursts of pain that she's getting, the ones caused by trauma. Is he using her trauma to get what he wants?!"
Aizawa felt his anger bubble up as his hands gripped the wheel tightly in stress. "Yes. He is."

The first thing you heard when you had awoken from your dream about being in a twerk pyramid was distant humming. Ignoring the ache in your neck as you tilted your head up, the first thing you saw were concrete walls and a familiar tall silhouette with a trench coat standing in the shadows like a dollar-store Batman.

"Man, you sleep like the comatose," was Jasper's first words to you, his voice creating a strong echo across the space.
Going to move, you realised that there was something rough wrapped around you. Looking down, you see rope wrapped around you, keeping you to your chair that you had been placed in. You frowned at the colour of the rope, it being a faded yellow type of colour. Your feet were bound to the legs of the chair, and your wrists were bound behind you. Looking around, you noticed you seemed to be in a space around as big as an underground parking lot.
Even half-awake, you couldn't help but say, "You know, I'm beginning to think my guardian angel has been slacking off lately."
"Even when you're in such a dire situation like this, you still open your mouth," Jasper said, slowly pacing toward you.
When he stopped in front of you, you looked up at him and said, "You know, the level of shit that comes out of my mouth has reached to the point where I don't even know if I'm joking anymore. Like when I say that you look like a Netflix adaptation of Jason Dean with that trench coat on."
He did, and you knew that he knew that. Still, it didn't stop him from sarcastically smiling at you before slapping you clean across the face. You felt the harsh sting on your cheek as your head flew to the side, and you remained silent.
Leaning his hands against the arms of the chair where your hands were, he asked in a low voice, "You have anything else to say?"
He barely heard you when you replied, ". . . der."
His eyebrows scrunched as he strained to hear you, "What?"
"Harder."
He looked at you incredulously, having no words of his own.
You looked absolutely bored out of your mind when you said, "Didn't Shigaraki tell you? I'm pretty–"
"Please don't say kinky."
"I was gonna say annoying, but whatever floats your boat, I guess."
Jasper gave you the most deadpan look you had ever seen on a person before standing up properly and stepping back, his hands behind him. "What makes you think Shigaraki is here?"
You sighed, nodding your head behind you, "I hear him scratching."
You heard a frustrated huff behind you before Shigaraki walked out from behind you and stood by Jasper. "Hello, shit."
"I see you haven't been using the moisturiser I bought you."
"Why would I?" he muttered, receiving a small 'you right'.
"I'm glad you're enjoying your little reunion," Jasper said, before he grabbed a small remote from his coat pocket, "but we've gotta get things rolling."
You frowned as you watched him click something on the small remote. You blinked in surprise as you watched a projector screen eject from the ceiling. You didn't say anything as Jasper looked at you. He didn't say anything either, just clicked another button on his remote.
The projector screen lit up with a video, the sound coming from all around you and echoing along the walls of the space. You chuckled as you glanced at Jasper, "Are we watching Shrek–"
Your voice caught in your throat when you heard a familiar voice.
"Elijah, stop it, for crying out loud!" A voice giggled.
"It's just a camera. Would you rather I stick chopsticks up your nose or something?" Another replied, causing the first person to snort in laughter.
You felt your throat close up as you slowly looked at the screen, seeing the faces you had known since birth facing the camera lens.
"Elijah!"
"Abigail!"
"(Y/N)!"
You felt tears prick your eyes, your breathing becoming increasingly rapid as you watched yourself from a few years ago walk into frame.
"What's poppin', child?" Your father said, causing your mother to let out a small 'pft'.
"Uhsuuuh, father dude," you replied in the most stereotypical surfer-dude voice.
"Yohohoooo, broskie, you wanna go catch some waves tomorrow?"
"If by waves you mean the kiddie part of the pool with a kick-board, THEN HELL YEAH, BROOOO–"
"Oh, but the kiddie part of the pool is full of piss," your father said in his normal voice.
"Well if a kid peed, the water would go blue," you said, walking out of frame in the direction of the kitchen.
Your father looked at you as you sat out of frame, "No, they just tell you that so they don't shut down."
"Well guess who's not swimming in a public pool with Izuku anymore."
"Why would you ever swim in a public pool–"
"Alright!" your mother exclaimed. "That's enough talk about pool piss. (Y/N), get to school, please. Izuku's probably waiting."
"Okay," you said. All that was seen on the video was your father waving you goodbye. The front door was heard being shut, and your father turned to your mother.
"She's gonna be in high school soon, holy shit," he turned the camera to your mother again.
She sighed, nodding her head, "I know. That went by quick, jeez."
"Think she'll get into UA?"
"Oh, for sure. Her quirk is already so strong. Did you know she could bend an entire storage container? Jesus."
Jasper huffed out a small bout of laughter, looking at you, "I thought you didn't know how to use your quirk?"
You barely heard him, the ringing in your ears growing louder as you felt the oncoming pain.
"It's almost like you forgot it after your parents' death–"
The ringing in your ears was ear-piercing, and the familiar stabs of pain ran through your head. The video continued to play, and you tried covering your ears to block out the sound. "Turn it off!"
"Just give it thirty more seconds." Jasper replied, nonchalantly checking his watch. The thirty seconds felt like thirty minutes, and when he finally turned off the video, the pain continued as thoughts of your parents ran through your mind, their smiling faces playing on loop in your mind. When the sequence of pain finally dropped off, and you hung your head, the lack of pain relieving.
Jasper checked his phone for a few moments in silence, until he hummed in delight and put it away. "Perfect. Now for the next building. Dabi, if you wouldn't mind."
You felt your heartbeat quicken as the said man entered from the shadows. "Hello, (Y/N)."
All could be heard from that room was the video playing, Dabi talking, and your shouts and screams of pain.
