"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

The pain in your head had increased. It wasn't constant, like a headache that wouldn't go away. No, it was like sharp pains that would come from absolutely nowhere, and they were getting more and more painful each time they came around.
You were sitting in class, listening to Miss Midnight when another hit of pain came to your head. Your shout of pain alerted the whole class, and Todoroki rushed to your side in an instance. At some point you heard a loud creak, but the pain in your head was causing black dots to spot your vision. When it finally died down, Todoroki was in front of you, his eyes locked onto yours. Everyone surrounded you, though they kept some distance.
Mina was the first to speak, "Holy shit, (Y/N), are you okay?"
Sighing, you blinked for a little bit before replying, "Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine."
"Are you sure?" Kaminari asked. "Because um. . ."
You looked at him, waiting for him to continue. When he didn't, you asked, "What?"
Everyone moved out of the way so they were behind you. Due to them surrounding you beforehand (and also the blinding pain), you hadn't noticed what was happening to the rest of the classroom.
Every single desk had been bent and shaped unnaturally. The metal legs of each desk had been warped or snapped off. You were all silent. Not even Miss Midnight said anything.
You chuckled nervously, "Hey guys. . . What the fuck?"
There was a knock on the classroom door, and Midnight rushed over immediately. Multiple staff members were there, including the principal, and even other teachers from separate classes. Aizawa came walking in, looking at the room before looking at you. "What happened?"
"I was gonna ask the same thing," you said.
"Every classroom is like this," Aizawa stated, gesturing to all the desks. "Even the staff room."
A thought ran through your head, and you shot up out of your desk. "IS TETSUTETSU OKAY?"
"Tetsutetsu is fine," Aizawa said, approaching you. "His quirk freaked out a little bit, but other than that, he's completely normal."
You sighed in relief, plopping back down in your seat. "Oh, thank farts."
"Are you okay?" Aizawa asked. "I'm assuming this was a result of your quirk. I don't know anyone else who could have this kind of affect on something."
"Well I've been getting these really sharp pains in my head recently for absolutely no reason," you explained. "Like, they come out of nowhere and only last for a few moments before it goes away completely."
"Is it getting worse?"
"Each random burst is getting more painful every time, and I've just noticed they're getting a little longer."
"When did they start?"

You frowned. The first time you had really experienced it was when you were at the park with Todoroki a few days beforehand. When you explained that to Aizawa, he frowned.
"That's rather weird," he said, leaning his hand on one of the desks that hadn't been so warped. "A few days ago a streetlight was found literally bent over backwards."
You and Todoroki's eyes widened as you looked at each other. Looking back at your teacher, you asked, "Did anything happen to occur yesterday at around 4:30 in the afternoon?"
You had been studying in your room. Bakugou was in the middle of a shower, and you were about ready to throw your notes on the ground (it's why Bakugou was always around to shout at you to complete your study tasks). You were just about to close your notebook when another stab of pain had hit your head. When it stopped, nothing around you had changed.
At least you hadn't thought so until you walked outside later that afternoon and—
"Yeah," Aizawa said. "All the street lamps were bent backward from this vicinity all the way to Hosu City."
That.
"Man," you mumbled to yourself. "My quirk must hate street lamps."
"You're causing a little bit of public destruction, but the council is willing to forgive it." Your teacher moved so he was sitting on a seat and leaning his elbows on his knees, staring into your entire being. "But you really need to get a hold of that quirk of yours. From the sounds of it, it's getting worse. We'll go and get your head checked at the hospital. Whatever is causing your little episodes is causing a bit of damage and it may get worse."
You nodded your head. "I'll go once this last class finishes."
"No," Aizawa said, standing up. Turning to 1-A, he said, "You're all dismissed for the rest of the day."
"Sir, that's not how class works," Asui said.
"Well would you rather extend the time it takes (Y/N) to visit the hospital to get this thing checked out, or would you rather live to see another day and be able to come back to school?"
The whole class sat in silence, until Kaminari opened his mouth and said, "Did you really just ask us if we would rather die than go to school?"
"I did."
The class went silent again, until Mina asked, "Did you want us to answer that—"
"Jesus," Aizawa said, pinching the bridge of his nose, "just go home."
Everyone rose from their seats, sending you 'good luck's, some patting your head or shoulder before leaving.
You didn't miss Kaminari's last glance at you before he also left. You were left alone with Principal Nezu, Aizawa, Todoroki and Bakugou. You turned to Bakugou, "I'll be okay. Just go home and get some time off. You deserve it."
He looked at you for a moment before he 'tch'ed and got up from his seat. As he passed you, he aggressively rustled the top of your head before saying, "Get home as soon as possible, dickhead. Mum and Dad will be worried."

"Bakugou, stop forcing yourself to be affectionate and go," you said, snickering.
You saw the agitation and rage in his eyes before he even opened his mouth, "I'M BEING SINCERE, YOU FUCK, I'LL FUCKING TAKE IT BACK!"
You didn't get to respond before he spun around and left grumbling to himself.
You looked back at Todoroki when he patted your hand to get your attention. He was crouched down in front of your desk, his forearms resting on the top of it as he looked up at you. "Do you want me to go with you?"
You had done enough sending him away when he needed to be there the most, so you smiled gently, grabbed his hand and said, "Yeah. Please."
Now you wished you had done that ages ago. The way he gently smiled at you and his eyes glimmered showed you how glad he was that you were properly trusting him.
"Okay," you said, standing up. "I'll go straight to whoever the fuck is willing to help me right now."
"I'll go with you," Aizawa said, standing up. When you gave him a questionable glance, he sighed and looked off to the side. Quietly, so much so you had to strain to hear him, he said, "I owe it. To the both of you."
You had to force yourself to look away when you saw him fiddling with something you couldn't see on his wrist.
"Okay. Shouta," Principal Nezu said before leaving the room, "let me know right away. We need to figure this thing out and control it before it gets too dangerous."
You looked down, fiddling with your fingers. You felt guilty seeing them have to go through all this stress because of your quirk.
You felt Todoroki's hand grip yours as Aizawa and Principal Nezu continued to chat. As you looked down, you watched him interlock your fingers together. You were going to look at him, but you felt your face flush and you immediately looked away when you saw him leaning forward. He leaned down to your ear and murmured, "Don't."
You didn't know if you were supposed to be confused or if you wanted him to kiss you, which was a strange mix of feelings you didn't appreciate. "Don-Don't what?"
"You're feeling guilty over something you can't control," he continued. He moved his head back a little so he was looking directly into your eyes this time. "Don't."
Boy, were you glad he was in your life. Smiling up at him gratefully, you said, "Thank you."
He gently kissed your forehead, mumbling against it, "I'm right here."
"Okay," Aizawa said as Principal Nezu left. "Let's go and get this quirk figured out, kid."

"So," the doctor said, looking at your brain scan, which was a process you hated taking part in. "This is rather weird. So the bigger part of your brain — the cerebrum — is showing a bit of unusual activity."
"Please elaborate," you mumbled, your chin resting in your hand as your elbow sat on your knee.
"Well," the doctor said, pointing to the scan, "you're aware of the left brain and right brain, correct? The left brain controls functions like speech, comprehension, writing and things like that. It's basically your logical brain. The right brain controls your creativity, spatial ability, artistic and more. It's your creative brain."
You nodded along.
"A lot of people's quirks focus more on the left brain than the right. However, some people have creative quirks, and so it focuses more on the right."
You looked at Aizawa, "Like Momo's quirk. Hers would be more over on the right side."
Aizawa nodded, "Exactly."
You looked at the scan, noticing the bright red spots in places you didn't know the name of. "I'm assuming those red spots are different parts of my brain."
The doctor looked at you hesitantly before saying, "No. Those red spots are on your cerebrum. It's the unusual activity I mentioned before."
"You've heard of Paranormal Activity," you said. "Now get ready for: Unusual Activity."
"What are those red spots, doc?" Aizawa asked, ignoring your nonsense.
"Before we get to that, do you see this area, the amygdala?" He pointed at a tiny red spot near the centre of your brain in another picture, and you nodded. "That's all red. This part of the brain is important for laying out emotional memory and it's also used to detect emotions such as fear. Your entire amygdala is red. I'm assuming you've experienced a trauma of some kind."
You all sat in silence, until you smiled awkwardly and went, "Yah-huh."
The doctor sat in silence before he continued, knowing you weren't going to tell him. "This trauma onto your amygdala is seeping into your left and right brain. And I could be wrong, but I think it's affecting your quirk functions as well. Thus every time you feel a shock of pain, you're momentarily unable to control your quirk until you're able to come back to your senses."
"How fast is it developing?" Todoroki asked from his seat next to you.
"Quite quickly. By the looks of it here and what you've told me has been happening for the past few days, it's been growing at a rapid rate. It seems that the area it affects seems to be growing bigger as well."
You frowned, "What do you mean?"
"I mean that when it first happened, it was just a streetlight just across the road from where you were, right? A couple of days later, it's suddenly affecting here all the way to Hosu City. It may just be streetlights, but if you just destroyed every single desk in every classroom at UA, then it's definitely becoming more destructive."
"Exactly how bad can it get?" You asked.
The doctor sighed, slumping in his chair as he looked back at the chart. You all waited, watching him. Looking back at you three, he said, "Whole cities. And not to be dramatic, entire countries."
You didn't want to hear it. But you still asked.
"The world?"
The doctor nodded.
"The world."
