"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

Class 1-A were absolutely exhausted. They just had to fight goddamn forest monsters because they were forced to walk all the way to the training camp. They did try to get back on the bus, but their own teacher ditched them, which when they looked back on it, wasn't a surprise.

Upon arriving at the camp (it was noon), they couldn't even sit down and eat. They had to make their own dinner.

A few cried.

The class was glad to have something to distract themselves, though. With their classmate being absent, they were still worried. However, the absolute chaos that was 1-B was providing a decent distraction, and some were even beginning to enjoy their time there.

Most of their reassurance came from Todoroki. Yes, he was absolutely worried and scared shitless for you, but he hadn't felt anything dangerous. That reassured your classmates that you were at least not getting hurt and was still alive.

Later that night, 1-A was forced to pair off and hike through a scary terrain, the scares provided by 1-B.

Bakugou and Todoroki were paired together, and thus began a conversation they'd had plenty of times before, while also being freaked out every ten seconds.

It was silent for a bit when they began. They were just listening for a things, trying to find ways to distract themselves from the actual problem they were facing.

Bakugou was the first to speak, "Anything?"

Todoroki only nodded his head slightly, mumbling out, "Yeah. On my fist."

Bakugou sighed aggressively before shoving his hands in his pockets as he looked out ahead of him, "Like she punched something or some shit?"

Todoroki nodded his head again, looking down at his fist, "Yeah. Just a dull ache on my end."

Bakugou didn't say anything, looking at the younger boy out of the corner of his eye. He was aware of how your disappearance must have been affecting him, what with your pain being registered in Todoroki's nervous system as well.

Bakugou sighed again before aggressively ruffling his hair, not wanting to say what he was about to say. He wasn't for sappy shit in any sense of the word, but he didn't need Todoroki losing faith. So, he said, "I'm not gonna stop looking for that little shit. I haven't looked after her all this fucking time just for her to slip out of my damn hands."

He knew his words registered in Todoroki's mind. Even though his and Bakugou's circumstances were different in terms of looking after you, the words vouched for both versions. You and Todoroki hadn't developed your relationship and taken care of each other and grown as much as you have all this time just for all of it to be thrown away. Bakugou and his family hadn't looked after you and your aunt this whole time for nothing either.

Speaking of your aunt, Todoroki felt his gut sink. He wish you wouldn't have to go through that stuff.

"What the fuck is that?" Bakugou narrowed his eyes as he looked out ahead of him. Todoroki looked up and followed his gaze, frowning when he saw what Bakugou meant.

Way off in the distance was a bright blue hue, constantly flickering across the trees. As if it were blue fire. . .

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

You stood next to Dabi as he set another tree aflame, being entranced by the blue flame. Turning back to look at you, Dabi said, "We're about to go down. Don't forget the plan."

You didn't say anything, staring straight down at the camp. Your gaze focused on the six people walking to a building separate from the rest of the camp. Kaminari, Kirishima, Mina, Sero and Sato were all walking to that building, and the person leading them. . .

Your eyes zeroed in on them. You felt your heart rate increase as pure rage filled your body. Your body pumped with adrenaline as you watched them walk around carefree. You refrained from running ahead early, your need for them to be pummelled into the ground too strong.

Noticing this, all Dabi said was, "Don't miss."

"If you think I'm going to miss this target, you're dead wrong."

Dabi stared at you blankly before saying, "You know, ages ago you would've passed out if you killed someone. Now you seem very fond of the idea."

"Well maybe because this person is the reason my parents are dead."

Dabi had to refrain from smirking. Somehow what the L.O.V told you about how your parents died seemed to register as true in your head. All they had to do was change one simple little fact (and maybe sprinkle in a little extra hard work), and you were out for blood. It was almost comedic. It didn't occur to you that the villains who had threatened you and your loved ones could also be the ones lying to you.

You were kind of dumb. But Dabi wasn't going to stop you. This is exactly what the L.O.V wanted.

You both got your cue, and Dabi nodded. "Alright–"

You were already gone.

"Frick this shiz, I don't wanna retake my tests," Kaminari grumbled.

"Well don't fail them then," their homeroom teacher replied.

"Touché."

"What's that noise?" Mina asked, stopping to turn around. She swore she could've heard something in the bushes.

"Yeah, I heard that too," Kirishima said, trying to peer through the wildlife.

"Guys, it's probably just a dolphin or something," Sero said, earning an 'are you dumb?' look from Sato next to him.

"No no, you're right, I hear footsteps," Aizawa said, slowly stepping closer to the bushes.

"Like. . . Dolphin footsteps?" Sero mumbled out awkwardly.

"You know, man," Kaminari said sarcastically, "I would so love to see a dolphin walking around in the forest—"

"LOOK OUT!" Aizawa shouted, holding his arms out in front of his students and backing away. They quickly did as he told, stumbling back as they looked at him with a mix of panic and confusion.

"What is it?!" Kirishima exclaimed.

Before their teacher had a chance to answer, the person jumped out of the bush and. . .

"(Y/N)?!"

You stopped in front of them, your eyes trained on Aizawa. When you didn't say anything, Kaminari stepped forward. "(Y/N), are you alri–"

Aizawa placed a hand against his chest, stopping the boy's movements altogether and looking at his teacher with confusion. Without removing his gaze from you, he said to Kaminari, "Don't move."

"But why?!" Kirishima uttered a shocked response. "She just got away from the League of Villains and is probably scared out of her mind!"

"And how would she be here, Kirishima?" Aizawa questioned him, still keeping his eyes on you.

Mina was the first to realise, "Wait a minute. . ."

"How would she know where to find us?" Aizawa started. "If she just escaped the League of Villains, she would either go to the police or the school. She went missing before your final exams even started, so how would she even know about the training camp?"

"Sir, what are you saying?" Sero's worried tone already suggested that he knew what Aizawa was about to tell them.

"She's with the League of Villains."

Everyone basically stopped breathing, looking back at your deadly gaze toward your own teacher.

Kaminari spoke up, "But she wouldn't become a villain! We know she wouldn't! And so do you, sir! Weren't you saying that she was being threatened? What if she's being forced to do this?"

"Kaminari," Mina said. "Take one look at her face and tell me if you think she's being forced to do this."

"Yeah, she does seem solely focused on Aizawa," Sato whimpered, trying to hide behind Kirishima despite being the biggest one there.

"She's not a villain, and you all know that!" Kaminari exclaimed, beginning to get frustrated.

"There have been students who have gone for the hero course and turned into a villain instead," Sero chimed in.

"Like who?"

"Endeavor."

"Endeavor's not a villain–"

"Okay," Aizawa said, finally having enough and turning to look at his students. "I didn't even say she was a villain, I said she was with the League of Villains."

"LOOK OUT!" Kirishima shouted. Aizawa whipped his head around just in time to be met with a face full of metal pipe.

"MR. AIZAWA!" His students shouted, and he slowly got up, ignoring the dizzy spells.

Looking at you cautiously, he held out his hands in front of him, like he was trying to tame a wild lion. "(L/N), listen to me. Whatever they told you about that night—"

"Are you about to tell me your tragic backstory?" you asked coldly, swinging the pole around in your hand. "Not gonna lie, if I hadn't seen the news reports and footage of what actually happened, I would so believe anything you give me right now."

Aizawa felt his blood run cold, "Footage?"

"Oh, yeah," you said, casually scraping the bat against the ground as you swung it back and forth lightly. "The news report made it seem like they were just using indirect footage of the incident and creating alternative facts. But it turns out, there were cameras recording the whole damn thing when my parents were captured, as well."

Aizawa stared at you, "You watched your parents. . . Your parents—"

"Die? Oho, yeah." You smiled passive aggressively before looking at him.

Aizawa was aware how sensitive you were when it came to your parents, so he had to gently say, "(Y/N), I tried my hardest—"

"Tried your hardest to what?!" You shouted, and your classmates behind Aizawa flinched at your tone, despite it not even being directed at them. "Tried your hardest to go and help other people rather than help the ones abandoned in the building with a huge bomb sitting underneath them?!"

You were met with a multitude of looks your way. From a few of your classmates, namely Mina and Sato and Sero, they shared looks of shock and sympathy toward their teacher. From Kirishima and Kaminari, they looked shocked, yes, but their eyes were almost narrowed in thought. And Aizawa was staring at you with pure confusion.

"What are you talking about? I didn't leave them, (Y/N)—"

"It's SO hard to believe you when I was shown literal footage from the League!"

The students behind Aizawa shared similar looks to each other. They knew why you were reacting like this, and also why you so easily believed the League when they handed you the supposed "footage" of your parents' death.

It had been made clear to them during that one time a couple of months back when you started having your meltdown in front of the class after being asked by your peers why you wanted to become a hero. They assumed that due to you not mentioning your parents and only mentioning your aunt that you didn't have your parents around. They assumed that the meltdown in class might have been due to thoughts of that.

It was further confirmed when they found news reports of the incident, your parents' names being listed.

You were clearly not in the right headspace for anything mentioning your parents, and so being faced with "hardcore evidence" of their deaths and the causes of it seemed to really make it easy for your mind to be swayed and for you to instantly shift the blame on someone. It had made you completely forget about the fact that the L.O.V. were a bunch of fat liars and had clearly either edited the footage or made their own production in some sick twisted way to make you shift the blame onto your own teacher.

"Jesus Christ," Kaminari mumbled out. "This isn't gonna be pretty."

"(Y/N), I swear to you, I didn't leave the damn site. I stayed with them trying my damn hardest to get them out!"

"I WAS GIVEN LITERAL FOOTAGE OF YOU DOING EXACTLY WHAT I SAID YOU DID—"

"(Y/N), get it through your head that they're LYING to you!"

"HOW COULD THEY LIE ABOUT PHYSICAL EVIDENCE—"

"THERE WERE NO CAMERAS ON THE SCENE, (Y/N)!"

You went silent, seeing the genuine look in Aizawa's eyes. The look of pure pain; the look of sympathy; the look of absolute exhaustion; all of it you could see as plain as day, and you felt your grip loosen on your metal pipe.

You heard clapping behind you, and everyone, including you, turned to look at whoever it was. Dabi paraded from the bushes, smirking and clapping lazily. "That was a lovely performance. I'd love to tune in next week for the next episode. But we have to go. We have what we need."

"(Y/N), don't go!" Kaminari shouted, but he stopped once he saw the helpless look you gave him. That look along with the one of internal battle just made him want to run up and hug you.

"What do you mean 'you have what you need'?" Aizawa's rough voice was a clear attempt of his to push through what just happened. "What do you have?"

With Dabi's hand holding a threatening grip on your forearm, before walking back into the trees, he said, "More like 'who'."

And it was at this moment Aizawa realised that during this whole thing, he hadn't heard the telepathic message being sent to everyone. They were all so caught up in the moment that they had completely ignored it.

When they rushed back to the camp, Midoriya was on the ground, beaten and bloodied, reaching out in front of him.

All they heard him shout was, "KACCHAN!"
