"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

You had been up on that roof for only twenty minutes before you heard something behind you. Assuming it was Dabi telling you to come inside, you said without turning back at him, "Don't make me blow you up. I'll make a run for it faster than you can say 'Ghostbur'."

When you got no witty reply back, you finally turned around.

No one.

Chuckling to yourself nervously, you let out a small 'ew' before turning back around.

And then you felt yourself being yanked from under your arms, and seconds later you were high up in the air.

"OH, SHIT!" You yelled, but was immediately shushed by someone above you.

Your head shot up, and the person you saw filled you with both relief and panic (at the disco).

Hawks was carrying you from under your arms and was now flying above the League of Villains hideout. Before you could say anything, he asked, "Mind explaining to me why you've willingly gone to join the League of Villains?"

"Would you believe we were having a sleepover?"

Hawks huffed at your sarcastic reply before saying, "Okay, I'm taking you back to the station."

Before he had the chance to fly off with you, you panicked and pulled his hands off you. Luckily you weren't too high above the roof Hawks just pulled you from, so when you landed, all you had to do was roll immediately in order not to break your ankles. Hawks silently landed on the roof when you stood back, and he gave you a hard stare.

"(Y/N), why are you here?"

You sighed at the question, throwing your hands up, "Because it's the only way to keep anyone safe."

"What do you mean?" He stepped closer to you.

You couldn't help your snarky comment, "Well, seeming as my aunt has been basically burnt to a crisp and sitting on life support, I think this might be the best option."

Hawks huffed, "(Y/N), if you just let me take you back to the heroes now, we can prevent that from happening–"

"HAWKS," he blinked in surprise at your outburst, and you had to quickly quiet your voice down to not cause any further suspicion from the L.O.V. "As soon as I'm gone, she's fucked. They're going straight for her. And not just her, but anyone else I give a shit about. I can't go, Hawks, I have to stay."

He stared down at you, looking deep in thought. He slowly shut his eyes and sighed, sliding a hand over his face. "I can't just leave you here after having found you."

"You have to," you said. "Please, I just want to keep everyone safe. This is the only way I can do that."

When you looked at him again, you immediately noticed the look on his face. Like a mix of sympathy and reluctancy. You frowned, and before you could ask, he said, "(Y/N), there's something really important you need to know–"

"Oi, Magneto, where the hell are you?" You heard Dabi coming up to the roof behind you. Panicked, you shooed Hawks away, to which he gave a reluctant look before quickly flying away.

To avoid any suspicion, you quickly took off your jacket and flapped it aggressively, trying to make Hawks' wings sound like it was just you obnoxiously airing out your coat.

And it worked, because when Dabi got onto the roof, he looked at you like you were a moron. "Is this what you do in your free time? Dance with your jacket?"

You almost laughed, because that's exactly what it looked like.

"Get your ass inside. We've got something to tell you."

You raised an eyebrow as you followed him, "Oya oya oya?"

He gave you a dumb look before rolling his eyes. "I have a feeling you'll have a change of heart once you discover this news."

God, did Hawks so badly want to tell everyone what he discovered. But he knew he couldn't. They would just immediately act. Even if he told them that there was no way to rescue you without hurting anybody, they would still try and find a way around it.

He was stuck with this information, and had to sit with it alone until you acted.

He just wished he was able to tell you what he discovered. If only he'd had the chance.

Todoroki was packing for the school training camp. Quite unhappily, to be frank. He had been cursing Principal Nezu out the entire time, and Fuyumi didn't know what the hell to do. She could only leave him and let him rage in his corner with his suitcase.

She knew he didn't want to go. Not because he didn't like the training camp, but because it wasn't fair. It wasn't fair on (Y/N), who was trapped with the League of Villains and hadn't even been given the chance to do her final exam, let alone go on a school trip. It wasn't fair on her friends, who were absolutely worried sick, so much that they couldn't even focus on the camp. It wasn't fair on Todoroki, who had spent many sleepless nights trying his best to convince himself that you were moderately okay for the time being.

Fuyumi had to patch up many holes in the wall, all done in by Todoroki's fist and/or foot. Natsuo had tried talking to him, but he couldn't get to him, only earning a raging fit from his younger brother. The spare room it occurred in was now acting as a giant freezer room from the amount of ice Todoroki had accidentally let out. Natsuo just made him cold soba, which did seem to calm him down a bit.

Todoroki had soon died down to just a small angry ball by the end of things, much like how Bakugou usually was, just a lot quieter.

He cared about you too much, which when thinking about it, was so crazy. A girl he had met at the beginning of the year, one he had argued with countless times and suffered through so much awkwardness with, was the one and only thing he was caring about. Either that's what soulmates felt, or he truly loved you.

Todoroki stopped. His hands froze above his suitcase, and the shirt he was folding dropped from his hands.

He loved you. He wouldn't be caring this much if he didn't. He wouldn't have gone into countless rage fits or have the amount of mental breakdowns just over the thought of you suffering if he didn't.

Maybe it was too soon to tell. But his brain wasn't denying it.

Sighing, he sat back against the wall, folding his arms on top of his knees and resting his head on them. He was so tired.

When Fuyumi and Natsuo entered his room again twenty minutes later, their hearts broke at what they saw.

Todoroki was laid down on the ground, having fallen asleep. Dark circles rimmed under his eyes, and he had a frown on his face despite having been knocked out.

Natsuo picked him up and placed him on his bed, Fuyumi becoming more upset when she noticed that Todoroki didn't even stir in his sleep. He was utterly exhausted.
