"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

"Hello, (Y/N)."
Keeping your eyes trained on him the entire time, you mumbled, "We've met."
"I'm glad you told your soulmate I said hi."
Your eyes narrowed further as your heart beat faster. This was the guy you approached in the alleyway that eventually sparked an argument between you and Hawks. If he knew that you sent along his message to Todoroki, then that meant. . .
"How long have you been following me?" You asked, mentally slapping yourself for not noticing anything sooner.
The man chuckled before stepping into the light of the sunset that was shining through your kitchen window, hands in his pockets. He smirked mockingly at you before saying, "Don't beat yourself up over it. It is quite difficult to see who's really around you while on Japan's subways."
He had been following you since you left your internship with Hawks.
Pointing your sword threateningly at him, you growled, "I don't know why you're here, you burnt salami stick, but you better get out of my home before I stab you in so many different places that you'll spend the rest of your life counting them."
He hummed lowly to himself as his electric blue eyes remained fixed on you, watching your every move. He finally mumbled out, "It's a shame your aunt isn't here. She would have been fun to mess with."
Your grip tightened on your sword as you glared at him, "Leave her the hell out of this—"
He interrupted with a wave of his hand, "Oh, don't be so concerned with that. I'm not here for her. I'm here because the League of Villains is looking for some special kids, and you're at the top of their priority list."
He was about to move closer to you, but there was a knock on the door behind you, followed by a muffled voice, "(Y/N)? Is everything alright?"
It was Todoroki.

You turned your head to look back at the man, but he had disappeared. You stood there for a moment, scanning and listening to see if he was still in your house, but Todoroki's second, more urgent knock snapped you out of it. Turning around, you stepped back and opened the door, "Todoroki, what are you doing here?"
He frowned, moving his shirt collar so he could reveal his soulmate mark, in which was pulsing a glowing red. Your eyes widened a fraction, having completely forgotten about the warning thing your marks do.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
For some reason you were being a moron and didn't tell him that someone just threatened to kidnap you after stalking you all the way back to your home. Instead, you replied with, "Yeah, bruh, I'm fine."
"Then why are you holding a sword?"
'This seems awfully familiar.'
You shrugged your shoulders. "Practice. Maybe that's why it was glowing. I was about to hurt myself."
He hummed, nodding his head slowly. "Okay. Well, I'm glad I got here when I could. No more sword practice, okay?"
You huffed in fake reluctance, "Fine."
He nodded his head, leaning against your doorway. "Cool."
You also slowly nodded your head, puffing out your cheeks awkwardly. After standing in silence for a moment, you said, "Since you came back all this way to check on me, did you want to. . . I don't know. Sta-Stay. . . Over?" You became flustered at your own question, hoping he wouldn't run away screaming.
"Is that okay?" He asked, hesitantly removing himself from the doorframe and shyly placing his hands in his pockets, which you found utterly adorable.
Relieved he didn't take off, you smiled and said, "Yeah, of course. Come in."
He stepped in after you stood aside, gesturing with a wave of your hand for him to come in. He let out a small 'thank you', and you just went 'no prob, Bob' because you're a fucking moron, and he took off his shoes, placing them where the others were. He turned to face you, and you smiled awkwardly. He slowly pointed at the sword, asking, "Do you wanna keep that out?"
You honestly didn't know where your stalker went, so you weren't too happy about putting your weapon away. But after a moment of hesitation, you nodded your head, placing it in your umbrella holder thing (whatever the fuck that thing is). It would deteriorate overnight.

Turning back around, you saw Todoroki's suspicious yet concerned gaze on you. "Are you sure you're alright?"
You fake-chuckled, "Lol, are you worried?"
His face flushed red, and you actually laughed this time, shaking your head. "I'm okay."
He nodded his head. "Okay."
You two stood in silence for so long that you began to mentally deliberate whether or not you should tell him the truth. Everything was leading to the right thing, but. . .
"So you wanna watch a compilation of vines to educate yourself?"
"Huh– Oh, my dad's calling."
'His dad's calling.' You rolled your eyes, watching as he picked up the phone.
"Hello? I'm just at (L/N)'s house. . . What? Why is that any of your concern. . . What? Why would I– You know what? Yeah, we were just about to. . . Yeah, whatever, see you in hell."
You gaped at him as he hung up the phone, huffing as he shoved it in his back pocket. He noticed your look, "What?"
"You just told your dad that you'd see him in hell."
He nodded his head, "I did."
"What was he saying?" You asked, concerned.
He just shook his head, "Just asking questions that weren't any of his business."
"You said we were about to do something. What did you mean?"
You watched his eyes darken slightly as his eyes scanned your face for a moment, slowly saying, "He asked if we were doing anything inappropriate."
You frowned, "And you said–"
You didn't have a chance to finish speaking, but your brain linked everything up just before Todoroki walked forward with powerful strides, gripping your face in his hands and smashing his lips against yours, pushing you back against the wall behind you.
Your eyes widened as he pressed his body flush up against yours, moving his lips against yours in a rushed manner. You were beginning to lose the ability to breathe, so you hastily pushed him away, looking up at him in half-panic and half-confusion. "What. . ."
He was huffing a whole lot as he looked at you, his eyes having darkened. "He wants to think we're doing something inappropriate, then we should do exactly that."
"Or NOT." You said when he leaned down to kiss the corner of your lips. You were thankfully saved by your own ringing phone, quickly whipping it out to see the contact. Picking up, you said, "Hello?"
"(Y/N), it's Uki, your aunt's colleague." You perked up, slightly pushing Todoroki away.
He looked at you, no longer concerned about pissing off his father.
"Is everything okay?" You asked.
"Someone set the hospital on fire. Your aunt was trying to help some people and got caught in the blaze. She's in critical condition. We're at the hospital half an hour away–"
You didn't listen to the rest of her words, adrenaline shooting through your body as you hung up, grabbing your house keys and shoes and running out the front door, Todoroki hastily following behind. "(Y/N), what's going on?"
"My aunt just got sent to the hospital. She's in critical condition, Todoroki."
His eyes widened at your sentence, only being able to stand and watch as you dialled another number. The line didn't even ring once before Mitsuki picked up. "I know, honey, I'm on the way– KATSUKI, HURRY THE FUCK UP."
"Okay," you said shakily before hanging up. Turning to Todoroki, you said, "It's okay, go home. I'll tell you everything tomorrow."
He shook his head, "But–"
"Shouto, please," you said, your eyes desperate. "I'll explain everything tomorrow."
Noticing your look, he nodded his head, stepping forward and kissing your forehead, pulling you in an embrace. "It'll be alright."
You blinked back tears, breathing shakily before nodding your head, "Thanks."
He started walking back to his home, hesitating for a long time before leaving. He sent one last glance to you before he turned the corner. Not soon after, Mitsuki pulled up, rolling down her window. "Come on, honey."
You didn't hesitate to get in the back seat, feeling a sense of comfort upon noticing that Bakugou was already trying to pull you in. "Hurry up, let's go."
You close the door, not even putting your seatbelt on before Mitsuki rushed off toward the hospital.
