"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

- Julie Dillon

You faced Iida in the arena, waiting for the countdown from Present Mic. The match would start in a couple of minutes, but you and Iida both had the same idea to enter the rink early. You wanted to analyse the area and find ways to get around him, trying to predict his moves early.

You knew Iida would move around all over the place to throw you off. You could probably prevent some of his movement by creating some walls where he plans on going. You weren't sure how well he did in terms of stopping suddenly and turning, but you would have to hope for the best.

"ARE YOU READYYYYYYYYYYY?!" Present Mic shouted into the Mic, which wasn't needed at all, but every single one of you sitting in that building were used to it.

"Are you ready, Iida-kun?" you teased, smirking at him as his stare intensified.

"Are you, (L/N)-san?"

"Well that's unfair, you can't just answer my question with another question."

"Ju-Just focus on the match!"

"GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

You didn't dare move, and neither did Iida. You both stood there, waiting for the other to attack. You both knew you had to move soon, however neither of you wanted to make the first move. However, you knew Iida was eager to beat you.

He suddenly moved, and you kept your eyes trained on him as much as you could. He had gone to your left, keeping about five metres distance. You watched as he continuously ran circles around you, and you didn't notice him slowly get closer to you.

Suddenly, he ran straight for you, catching you off guard. He gripped onto your shoulders and began pushing you from behind, leading you to the boundary. You tried digging your heels into the dirt, however it didn't work. The line was approaching fast, and you had just managed to get away before passing it.

You shot your hands down, creating a tall beam at the ground and making it grow so you were a fair distance away from Iida. However, you didn't form the start of your beam from underground like the idiot you were, and so the thing that was keeping you safe toppled over. You leaped from it before it hit the ground, rolling on the dirt and getting up immediately, ignoring the ache in your back and the stings from the scrapes on your body.

Iida wasted no time running for you again, and you could only bring up a wall in front of you, still trying to think up a plan. The one you had devised before the match began wasn't certain, and there was a very low chance that Iida would have been that predictable anyway.

You froze, remembering something you joked about with him a few days beforehand:

"Lol, Iida, you know what you remind me of?"

"You've already told me, (L/N)-san. I remind you of Sonic."

"Well, yeah, that too. But you also remind me of a rollercoaster."

"Huh. . . That's a comparison I can appreciate, I guess—"

"Is it because you would ride him, (Y/N)?"

"KAMINARI, WHAT THE —"

A . If he was as fast as one, then maybe you could. . .

Grinning, you looked up just in time to see Iida running around your wall. You quickly threw out your hands in front of you, using your imagination.

You created a sweet ass rollercoaster track. With a loop and everything.

You had done it so suddenly that Iida had no time to stop himself. He also knew that if he stopped right in the middle of that loop, he would just plummet to his doom, so he had no choice but to complete it.

Making your dreams come true.

You saw that he would have room to escape the boundary line once he got off. So, as soon as he stepped foot off that track, you pushed with all your might, a big metal cube protruding from your palms. . .

And pushing Iida out of bounds.

You felt bad when the crowd cheered for your victory. You knew how strong-willed Iida was, and to have such an embarrassing fail must have frustrated him a little bit.

But once you walked over to him, instead of being upset with you, he pushed out his hand, offering it to shake yours. You smiled in relief, happily taking his hand and shaking it. "Good match, Iida."

"That was a good match, (L/N)-san. But just know that I will beat you one day." He said respectfully, a look of determination filling his gaze.

You nodded your head, smirking and saying, "I'll look forward to it."

You both walked away together, your friends approaching you not too long after. Midoriya and Uraraka talked ecstatically about your match, congratulating you on your win and inspiring Iida to do better next time. You smiled at your friends, wondering how you managed to score them.

"(Y/N)." You turned around and saw Todoroki, and you grinned.

"Hey, Todoroki."

"You did really well," he said while approaching you.

You chuckled, rubbing the back of your neck sheepishly, "Thanks. I was quite nervous; Iida is a tough opponent."

"You did great. How are you feeling? You seem fine. You don't feel drowsy or anything?" He took a step closer to you, lifting your chin with his fingers and examining your face, then your arms and hands. "You didn't get hurt, did you? No scratches or anything?"

You couldn't help but smile at his caring attitude, and you caught his hands in your own, stopping his investigation. "Obviously I have a few bumps and scrapes. It's a match, Todoroki, I'm gonna get hurt. But it's nothing major, okay? I'm fine."

It took a little time, but his shoulders soon relaxed after he analysed you for a few more seconds, his eyes scanning you. "Okay. Good."

"Mina and Tokoyami are fighting next. Did you want to watch them and Bakugou and Kirishima after, or did you just want to chill out for a little bit?"

"How about you?" He asked, and you narrowed your eyes playfully.

"I don't mind, Todoroki. That's why I'm asking you."

He nodded his head, thinking about it for a moment before replying with, "Would you like to get some lunch early? Maybe we could play another game while we're at it."

"Like Never Have I Ever?"

"I was thinking something like What Are The Odds."

You smirked knowingly at him, and he was already blushing before you teasingly asked your question, "Did you look up some games for us to play?"

"Yes, I-I may have."

You giggled as he frowned at his stutter, and you grabbed his hand before dragging him away from the arena. "Come on, let's go. Maybe you'll end up stealing your dad's credit cards by the end of the game."

"I hope so."
