"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."
- Julie Dillon
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
You weren't falling for long. You fell for about two seconds before you landed on the ground face first. Groaning, you coughed as you accidentally breathed in some of the dry dirt. You stood up slowly, trying to prevent the increasing pain in your head as much as possible. Looking around, you noticed you had landed. . .
Not even a few feet behind the fountain the villains had come from.
You awkwardly stood there, wondering if they were even aware you were there or if that portal guy had just hoped for the best. Slowly peeking around the flowing water, your heart almost lurched out of your stomach at how close you really were to them.
You had to refrain from cursing, and you remained hidden while you looked back up at where you had been with everyone else beforehand. Not many of the students were left, maybe about five or six. Everyone else had disappeared, and the only hero left was Thirteen.
You frowned as you scanned around the vicinity, noticing that the students had been placed in different areas, with villains making their way over. You scanned everywhere, trying to look for some authority figure near you.
You spotted Aizawa, not too far away from the villains at the fountain now. You gulped nervously as the few villains that stayed with the hand guy went straight for your teacher, and you watched helplessly as he began to fight all of them on his own.
What were you supposed to do? Should you go and help the students with the villains going straight for them, or should you help your teacher?
You noticed that your classmates weren't on their own, being grouped in with at least one person, and so you made your decision.
You noticed that while Aizawa was fighting off two villains, another one was coming up pretty close behind him. Thinking quickly, you stepped out from behind the water fountain. Throwing your hands out, you threw out the first thing you thought of.
Steel walls protruded from your hands, extending out towards Aizawa. The walls slid in front and behind him, blocking him from the villains he was fighting in front of him and the one that was approaching him from behind. He looked stunned, looking at the source of what saved him and seeing you.

"(L/N). . ." he mumbled out, eyes widening at your sudden appearance.
However, you were glaring angrily at the villains as they locked their gazes onto you. "Leave my goddamn teacher alone, bastards."
"(L/N), go help the other students!" Aizawa said sternly, and you huffed.
"Is that really how you're going to thank me after saving you from the asshole that was coming up from behind you?"
"Fine, thank you. But you need to get out of here now!"
"No can do, teach." You said, approaching him and standing behind him so you were back-to-back. "The students were separated into different parts of USJ, but that doesn't mean they're by themselves. Thirteen is protecting a few students, the students that have been situated over the vicinity have at least another peer with them, however you are fighting alone. I think you're gonna need all the help you can get. You helped me with Todoroki, so it's about time I return the favour."
He sighed, shaking his head and looking down at you out of the corner of his eye, "I can't stop you, I know that for sure."
"What do you mean?"
"Like I said a while back: I learn about my students quickly."
You nodded your head, forming a katana and asking, "Ready?"
"How much combat have you learnt over your lifetime, (L/N)?"
"Nothing up until a couple of weeks ago."
"Wha–"
"LET'S GO!" You quickly brought down the metal barriers and immediately attacked the villain standing in front of you.
Aizawa erased their quirks immediately, leaving them to fight you both old-school. The guy you were fighting had gun barrels for fingers. Seeming as he had recently fired from them, they were still hot. Meaning, when he grabbed onto your arm to block your pretty shitty swing with your sword, it hurt.
You gritted your teeth as you pulled away, feeling the painful burn irritate your skin. You refrained from making any noise, not wanting to alert your teacher from behind you, who seemed busy enough as it was.
You swung again, but this time time he had a grip on your katana with both hands. He grinned maniacally at you. You also grabbed onto the blade with both hands, and quickly swung underneath his open legs. You ignored the feeling of the blade digging into your fingers, and finally let go of it once you were behind him. Quickly standing up, you waited for him to spin around to face you before you kicked him in the throat.

He dropped the sword and gripped onto his throat, struggling to breath, and you took this chance to punch him square in the face as hard as you could.
Obviously, you had never punched someone before. So when you did, you only waited for him to drop unconscious before you hopped up and down in pain, shaking out your fist. "Ow ow ow ow ow. That was like fist-bumping the Hulk."
"Did you just throw your first punch?" Aizawa asked, and you turned around to find him with his scarf wrapped around the two villains he was fighting — one already unconscious and the other one practically having birds flying in circles above her head as she slipped in and out of consciousness.
You winced and hissed out as you tried un-balling your fist, the ache in your knuckles and your thumb being a bit hardcore. "Uh, yeah. It hurts a lot. Especially my thumb."
"Yeah," Aizawa said as he looked down and examined it, "you've bruised it. It might be broken. You need to learn how to throw a proper punch, kid."
"If I didn't respect you enough, sir, I would ask you to fight me." You said, and you heard slow clapping from behind you two. You both turned around to look at the handy dude, who was chuckling. "Wow, what a show."
You saw something approach, and you basically recoiled in horror at the sight of it. It was basically a giant muscular crow with its brains sticking out of its head.
A.k.a. The grossest thing you had ever seen in your life.
It was making some weird ass noises, mostly wheezing as it stared you and your teacher down with bulged-out eyes.
"This is Nomu." The handy guy said. "I guess you could call him my creation. He's got a mix of different quirks."
'A mix of different quirks? Like, it was genetically altered?'
"Have fun with him." The handy guy said. Nomu suddenly bounded toward you and Aizawa, and your heart lurched in your chest in surprise and panic. This dude was way too fast. What kind of quirks did he have?
Your teacher suddenly popped in front of you, stopping the Nomu-thing's fist from smacking you right in the head. It screeched at him (literally), absolutely killing your ears.
It grabbed onto Aizawa's arm and, like a twig, snapped it.
Your heart stopped at the noise, and you heard Aizawa shout in pain.
Thinking as quickly as possible, you formed a metal pole from your hand, running toward it and smacking it as hard as possible. It paused and looked at you, and you felt utterly horrified.
"(L/N), get out of here! I cancelled its quirks and it just broke my arm like it was nothing. This thing is as strong as All Might even without a quirk! Go!"
"But—"
"NOW!"
You flinched, and you didn't get a chance to actually make your decision before he wrapped his scarf around you. He swung you off into the distance, making you slide across the ground and come to a halt.
You looked up at where you were and noticed that you were all the way at the other end of the vicinity. Somehow he had managed to throw you over there without getting so much as a few scrapes on you. He really must have wanted you gone.
You watched helplessly as he struggled to fight the thing, and you gasped as it gripped onto his head. You were about to get up and run back over, when someone gripped onto your arm. "(Y/N)!"
You spun around to see Kirishima worriedly looking at you, Bakugou quickly approaching. "Guys. . ."
"Hey, what the fuck is going on?!" Bakugou exclaimed, noticing that you had just slid out of nowhere.
"Aizawa needs help." You said, looking back at your teacher. "He's fighting this thing called Nomu. It's like this ugly monster thing that was genetically induced with different quirks."
"How–"
"I don't know!" You exclaimed, interrupting Kirishima as you waved your hands around. "All I know is that all that strength you can see on him right now isn't a quirk. He is that strong, and right now he is about to crush Aizawa's head! I. . . I think he was sent here to defeat All Might. . ."
Bakugou glared at the thing in the distance, muttering out, "Shit."
"What do we do? What if we need to help other students?" Kirishima asked, looking at you and Bakugou for answers.
You shook your head, "I don't know. I tried helping him, but as soon as that Nomu thing broke his arm, he threw me over here to keep me away from it. I tried helping him as much as I could, but he didn't want me there."
"So what do we do?" Bakugou asked.
You sighed before looking at them and saying, "We help our classmates and pray that someone is getting help."

She was definitely beautiful even in her less than impressive rags. "Asadullah hardly makes such a generous offer." He said, liking the self-praise more than he wanted to admit. She shook her head - her dainty fingers wringing in her golden braid. Little Goldilocks. "Think again, little girl.
