It was always hectic at home.
There was always something going on.
You could hear it from his office,
the crude language,
the chaos,
the arguments when fights would break
out amongst his men because someone didn't agree.
He kept it under control,
away from the prying eyes of his little one
but that wasn't always possible.
You tried to block it out,
furrowing your little eyebrows as you heard
loud voices from the hallway,
brushing your dolls hair in your lap as you sat on the living room floor in front of the fireplace,
starting to become anxious.
"Stop it daddy"
You begged him in your little head,
staring down at the doll in your hand and wishing she could be there with you in real life.
Maybe if you had a friend,
It wouldn't be so hard or lonely anymore.
"Ugh!"
You huffed,
getting up onto your little feet and
dropping your doll to the floor,
marching your way to his office and
flinging the door open.
"Stop it!
Just shut up!
I'm sick of it,
daddy!
You think you're all tough men but you're just meanies and bully each other!"
All eyes falling onto you,
you closed your little mouth,
your little heart racing in your chest
as you stood there.
"Hey"
He scoffed,
blue eyes turning to you when he noticed
his men had finally quietened down,
an argument he was rolling his eyes
to from the corner of the room where he was staring out of the window,
looking out onto the city with a glass of whiskey
in his cold hands.
Placing the glass to the side,
he approached you,
taking you into his arms
and away from there.
"What did I tell you about coming in here,
huh?"
He told you lowly,

ignoring your little outburst because
even he knew,
you weren't wrong.
"When I'm in my office and the door is closed,
you stay well away from there,
you understand me?"
"I can't take it anymore daddy"
You breathed out as you placed you down
onto the floor where your toys were,
settling you into the living room,
cute little eyes staring back at him.
"I don't want to hear you bullying each other"
"No ones bullying anyone,
little girl"
He rolled his eyes at your innocence,
pressing one of your stuffies
into your little hands to occupy yourself with.
"It's just a fucking conversation,
alright?
Don't worry about it.
Watch ya little cartoons and turn the sound up,
hm?"
"Stop arguing dada"
You begged him.
"I don't want to hear people arguing anymore
and I don't like it when you shout
and hurt each other and-"
"Uh"
He warned you with his eyes,
cutting you off firmly,
smoothing a hand across your little forehead
to soothe you softly,
intense blue eyes on you.
"I said,
don't fucking worry about it.
I don't want you thinking about that.
It's just the way daddy does things
and you're just gonna have to get used to that.
If you don't scream,
people don't listen.
Now,
I don't want you coming to my fucking office again and if you don't like what 'cha hear,
take yourself somewhere.
Go play with ya toys in the bedroom
or some shit"
"Otay dada"
You nodded softly,
a grin forming on his lips because
it was impossible for him to be firm
with you for too long.
"Alright"
He whispered,
kissing your lips,
leaving you there to play
on the floor with your toys,
warning you one last time on his way out.
"And no fucking interrupting"

my first story ^U^
author note: yaaa hurray it’s my first story ^U^ i hope you all like it! all characters belong to my special friends who submitted them!!ok heres the first chapter enjoy ^U^ TL note: Some of you may be wondering why I am translating a story written originally in English, to English. I remember reading this story many years ago, as a teen, and had since dismissed it as a bizarre fever dream. Only recently, through much Googling, did I manage to rediscover it, and as such decided to not only read it again, but fix the author’s many typing issues and share the context of what I remember from its original happening. I believe the story underneath to hold deeper meanings than its strange happenings, but at minimum I hope you will appreciate it for the sheer weirdness of it all. For the best experience, skim it for your first reading and, if you are interested, read more deeply the second time. Some typing is left as-is to preserve what I believe to be authorial intent, or at least necessary effect. If you notice any typing issues I managed to miss, please email them to me at [email protected]

Homeland
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
