I woke up to the feeling of hair in my face. For a second I was confused, until I realised Madison was still laying next to me.

She noticed I was awake and turned around.

Goodmorning Y/N, how did you sleep? Asked Madison with a raspy morning voice.

Very good, it was very comfortable. I said, I noticed my voice was also a lot deeper.

Gosh that voice of yours... thought Madison

May I take a shower? I asked.

Y/N, stop asking omg... just pretend you're home here. I'll make us two breakfast. Said Madison, still with that morning voice.

Alright alright, I'll be back. I said

Alright Arnold Schwarzenegger. Said Madison teasingly.

I took a quick morning shower, put on some clothes and walked in on Madison dancing to California gurls by Katy Pery.

I just stood there while Madison was singing her heart out to the song until she noticed me.

Omg Y/N, don't scare me like that! Said Madison laughing from the fact that Y/N scared her so well.

Relax Maddie, I wasn't gonna make fun of you, I enjoy that chill vibe, especially in the morning. I said laughing.

I did not expect that to hear from you. Said Madison.

Also, do you drink coffee? Asked Madison.

I do, no sugar, nothing. I answered.

Hmmm, healthy. Said Madison as she handed you over her cup.

For breakfast Madison made pancakes.

I just didn't know what you'd like for breakfast, I hope you don't mind it as I figured you wouldn't eat pancakes each morning. Said Madison.

Mads, it doesn't matter, I'm a trashcan when it comes to food. I said.

Alrighty then, well make sure you eat enough. Said Madison.

I'm very bad at eating lean, I always eat a lot. I said as I grabbed my plate.

As me and Madison were eating on the couch, the sun was shining early onto Madison's backyard and Bowie came running up to the pair with a ball in his mouth.

Ohhhh, does my friend want to play? I asked, while getting up from the couch.

Either that or he wants your food. Said Madison while closely looking at Bowie.

I don't think that he wants my pancakes. I said.

Alright, well speaking about it, you mind if I take your last one? Asked Madison.

Before I could answer, Madison grabbed it from my plate.

Hey, how rude. I said playful.

Oops. Said Madison laughing.

She tried to run away but I chased her.

She knew her house better then me so she managed to escape the living room and got to the backyard.

That's were my advantage lies. Before Madison could setup an escape, me and Bowie already caught up to her.

I found a half empty bottle of water.

Y/N, don't you dare! Said Madison laughing while keeping a safe distance.

I ignored it and squirted the water out, all over her sweatpants and sweater. Now you own me your Porsche Hoodie. Said Madison.

Alright, I'll get it I get it, one second. I said.

Madison followed me. I went to look for my sweater and I found it. I bend over to pick it up and in that moment, Madison pushed me onto the matress.

She pinned my arms and I struggled to move myself.

Now you're stuck, what's your next move hotshot? Asked Madison smirking.

I gathered all my strength, pulled her to my body and in a swift motion rolled over, causing us swap places, now I was on top.

We both had to catch a breath.

Well your workout is done mrs Beer. I said laughing.

Thanks for that, I'm still all wet... Said Madison playfully annoyed.

It's the sweat for sure. I said confidently.

Madison grabbed my hoodie and went to shower.

After Madison went for her shower, she asked me what we were gonna do.

Hmmm, is there a proper Kawasaki dealer here? I asked.

A dealer for what? Madison asked.

Kawasaki motorbikes, I'd love to have one, especially a Ninja H2R. I responded.

Hmmm, we can look, but I don't think they have a specialized Kawasaki dealer here, beside that... You don't even have an motorbike license, do you? Asked Madison confused.

Not yet, but I'm nearly having exams. I said.

To race em on the circuits? Asked Madison concerned.

Possibly, but they're cool to tour around with. I said.

Hmmm, well we can go out into the city anyways.

So we did, we spent the midday with clothes shopping, I bought a new pair of Jordan 1's and Madison got herself some new rings.

We then went to a sushi restaurant for dinner.

Goddammit Y/N, you keep spoiling me like you're my sugardaddy. Said Madison teasingly.

Worth it in my opinion. I responded.

Next meal is on my costs. She said.

No. I simply replied.

I paid the meal off and we went for a car ride.

You can drive Y/N. Said Madison.

Alright, where do you wanna go? I asked.

Hmmm, somewhere calm. Said Madison.

So you take the aux cable? I asked.

Obviously, unwritten rule of a car trip. Said Madison as if that was the most common sense thing to say. Madison started to play a Spotify list on shuffle. We put together with our favorite songs to sing.

The first song was Something in the way by Nirvana, a song I absolutely adore.

Madison was death silent while I sang the song, it has a depressing vibe, but it got the energy ready for yet another karaoke.

The next song was also a song I added, it's called Kleine Jongen by Lil Kleine, a rap song. Normally I'm not into rap songs at all, especially not Dutch rap, but this one slaps.

Madison just looked at me while I completely rapped the song out the back of my head while still driving the car on the highway.

It was now Madison's turn, the song was Traitor by Olivia Rodrigo, a song I used to listen a lot to.

It was a song, part of the album Sour. I used to listen to that album a lot during my break up phase with Ava and Traitor related to me so much. It kinda brought some pain back, hearing Madison sang it out loud. But I kept the tears in.

After Sour, came life is a highway by Rascal Flatts, an absolute classic for car trips.

LIFE IS A HIGWAY AND I WANNA RIDE IT ALL NIGHT LONG. We both screamed during the song while looking at each other.

We both love this song and it brought back memories to the movie cars, still my favorite childhood movie.

Up next was Smells like a teen spirit by Nirvana again.

Grunge rock really is my vibe.

Karma Police by Radiohead started playing and this was a song Madison knew by heart.

She sang it perfectly.

Stay by The kid Laroi and Justin Bieber came up, Madison and I did both our different verses, I took Laroi's verse, Madison was responsible for Justin's lyrics. We did the chorus together.

We then finally arrived at a calm looking lake. I parked the car and we went for a walk.

The sky was clear tonight and the stars brightened up the lake perfectly.

However, it did give me some nasty flashback...

Y/N, We've got to split... The words I was so scared of ever hearing

After a silence of a few seconds, I finally managed to mutter out a few words.

B-but, why baby? I asked, I tried my best to keep the tears in.

I'm sorry Y/N, it's complicated... My parents.... such a few simple words could ruin an 5 year dating anniversary...

Lemme talk to them please baby, let them say to my face what I did wrong... I tried to convince her...

Y/N... my parents will send me to a boarding school if I don't leave, for my personal improvement...

A tear rolled over my cheek, I looked into the bright blue eyes, the eyes I fell in love with, the eyes I woke up next to this exact morning... They were normally so full of joy and happiness, now they just give a sorrow and painful look.

Goodbye Y/N. She said while walking away from me

I was totally frozen in place, I could only watch her walk away from me.

It started to rain but I didn't care... I was just standing there, totally numb to anything... I don't know for how long I was standing there, but it felt like a century.

I walked back to my car... At the point I was in my car, it started to rain even harder. The song she loved so much was playing on the radio, it was Maps by Maroon 5.

I then broke down, never had I cried so much...

I drove onto the highway, it was pretty much clear and I absolutely floored it. Not knowing where I went...

Y/N, are you listening? What's wrong? Asked Madison.

I was completely zoned out by the flashback of memories.

Nothing, I'm fine. I said, in an effort trying to convince her, obviously that didn't work.

Go on Y/N, obviously something is bothering your mind, you like went into zombie mode or something. Said Madison trying to cheer me up.

Hey, come on, if you think it's embarrassing to vent, you're wrong. I won't judge. Said Madison.

That reassured me, I just had to put the words together.

This place, it reminds me of her again... I started off with.

And? What happened there? Asked Madison.

It was our 5 year dating anniversary... It's crazy how similar this night is... We started off with a sushi dinner, had a karaoke in the car and then went to a lake on a clear night... I said, once again I tried to fight the tears, the tears I had to fight so long... It hurts so much...

Ohhh.... I'm sorry Y/N, do you wanna go back home to talk about it in private? Asked Madison, she was also emotionally touched by the story.

No... I just want to talk about it here, what happened after everything, I need to... I said.

Take your time Y/N, we got all night, no judgements. She said.

Well, after that night, I went home, I had never cried so much. My mother was asleep at that point. I said.

I hated everything at that point, I hated myself, I regretted every decision I made. I stood up way too long, I was and still am a mess... I need someone to fix me... I continued.

Then one night, I went out to a club, in South Carolina, completely deranged I just kept on drinking and drinking with Madelyn Cline... We ended up having sex and it all felt so good at that point. Then a few days later, I realized how bad I had gone... I finished my story.

Wow... Madison was left speechless and I saw she was trying to not cry... She had never seen such an open version of her best friend...

I was literally throwing away my hard work with my lifestyle... Everything I did was completely fucking useless and I thought it was gonna fix me... I said, crying even harder.

Madison gave me the tightest and biggest hug and it comforted me so well. I heard her sob in my shoulder as well.

I'm so sorry for what you've been put through Y/N... She said through her sobs.

Damn, that's a lot of pressure from my chest, thank you so much Madison, from the bottom of my heart. I said, still with a sore throat.

It's okay, I'm glad I can help. Said Madison while she wiped her tears from her cheeks.

Now let's look at the stars, the sky luckily is still super clear. Said Madison.

Madison went to lay down on her back.

Don't be shy, it's okay, I know you want to cuddle and you can. Said Madison.

She opened her arms and I went to lay in em. We gazed at the sky for hours and I fell half asleep on her chest...

Madison gave me a little kiss on my forehead and I did notice it but I kept my mouth shut.

I hope you're truly okay Y/N, if only you knew how much I'd do for you... She said out loud, thinking I wouldn't hear it...

That sentence made me feel some type of way...
