Lin Ning entered the dining room, sensing a lot of tension around from all the women there in the room. 'It seems as though they found another rival.' Sensing only one person with affection for her, she knew who it was. "Sorry, I did not know that I would be having a meal with you all this morning." Lin Ning lightly bowed her head, closing her eyes at the same time to rest them.

"No need to apologize. Come and join us this morning." Qian Qiang(Second Princess Consort) gestured for the maids to lead Lin Ning to her seat. Lin Ning was seated between two imperial concubines that belonged to the second prince. Sitting in between, she ignored their hatred towards her. "Now that we are all here. Everyone meet Concubine Ning, be sure to treat her like your sister. I expect you all to avoid any conflict between one another."

Lin Ning wanted to laugh, hearing that from the villainess and culprit of many of these women for losing their unborn children. 'This truly is the villainess. She holds a gentle smile, but she has a motive for everything.' Lin Ning could even sense that all the women there were afraid of Qian Qiang.

"That is right. I am hoping that all of you get along. I do not want to see any incidents occurring again." Yi Qiao (Second Prince) said. All of the women there knew what he meant, but only Lin Ning did not know what he meant by that.

"Again?" Lin Ning was not afraid to say.

The two imperial concubines were shocked to hear that from Lin Ning, thinking that she was seeking death if she questioned the deaths of five concubines that happened in the past. "Oh, I would have thought that you knew before arriving." Qian Qiang gave a surprising look at the same time with her sleeve raising up to cover her lips. "Well..." Qian Qiang then glanced over to Yi Qiao, who was displeased.

"No one speaks about the incidents. Ning, do not ever ask." Yi Qiao warned her, but Lin Ning only let out a 'hmph' and knew that deep inside, she was going to find out regardless.

"Alright, let us go ahead and start eating. Everyone must be hungry from all this talk." Qian Qiang had the plates arrive with the food coming in one after another. There was a moment of silence that occurred for all of them while they ate. "Husband, will you be seeing mother? She has been asking for you." Qian Qiang started to stir up a conversation at the table, asking her husband and encouraging him to see his mother.

"Mother can last a few more days without seeing me. It's not like I don't ever hear about her and her condition." Yi Qiao did not want to bother with his mother, knowing that she would start questioning him about Lin Ning.

"I suppose so." (Qian Qiang)

"How are you and our child?" Yi Qiao then decided to ask her, noticing that her belly had been growing after being apart for about two months. He would notice her hand laying on her belly that carried his child.

Qian Qiang was a little surprised to hear that from him, making her happy inside to see that he 'worried' about her and their child. "We are both fine. Mother has been sending me vitamins and physicians to keep an eye on both of us. There has been something that I've been hoping to ask you." Qian Qiang wanted to ask her husband.

"Hm?" (Yi Qiao)

"Please be sure to have a name in mind for our child. It isn't good to delay it." Qian Qiang wanted to know if he had any name in mind.

"There is still a lot of time. I can think of a name for our child by then." Yi Qiao told her.

Everyone else listened in; there was no further conversation as they finished up and allowed the maids to clean up the dishes. Lin Ning was about to leave with the other concubines when the second prince rushed over to her. Feeling her hand get grabbed, she turned her face towards him. "What?"

"I would like to spend some time with my concubine. It's not bad to do so." Yi Qiao dragged Lin Ning with him, letting all the women and servants there see it.

Qian Qiang tightly clutched her hand into a fist, staring at her husband, who had left with another woman. 'He's never done that with me before. That woman has gained his affection without even lifting a single finger. Why is she so lucky?!' She held more anger that had built up inside of her.

Lin Ning didn't know why she was being dragged by Yi Qiao (Second Prince), but she did not like how Qian Qiang held more hatred towards her. "You can let go of my hand. I can still walk." Lin Ning had pulled her hand back, getting her hand out of his. "Where are we going?" Walking carefully in front of her, she heard other footsteps that belonged to the servants, maids, and the second prince.

"We are walking in my garden." Yi Qiao walked beside her, staring down to see how Lin Ning was still acting distant towards him. "Hmph, you are still holding that same attitude towards me. Did you love that commoner so much that you can't accept me?" He mentioned the man that Lin Ning was with, but he still didn't know who that man was.

"I will always love him. There is no other that can replace him. Whatever you do, I will say it again and again. I will never love you." Lin Ning was then carried up, startled by the sudden move. "What are you doing?!" Lin Ning could sense him walking faster as he had taken her to his room. "Everyone leave!" Yi Qiao had the servants leave as he placed Lin Ning on the bed.

"What are you doing?!" Lin Ning knew that he was angry with her, making her fearful of what he could do to her at this moment. She had no place to go or run, backing up to feel her back hit the end of the bed. Her hands had been pinned above her head, feeling her lips sealed as she could not scream. 'No!!!!' Biting down onto the bottom of Yi Qiao's lip, he had no choice but to stop their kiss. "You are crazy!" She screamed at him while panting for air.

"I've grown more crazy for you." Yi Qiao had pulled the shoulder of Lin Ning's hanfu to reveal her shoulder's bare skin. Biting down onto her skin, Lin Ning had released a painful scream.

"AAAHHH!!!!" She started to cry while wishing that none of this was real with the hope for Cao Peizhi to save her. 'Peizhi...'
