From Barnir's wound came steam and his wound slowly healed. Even the blood began to dry and evaporate. It was like his body emitted more heat than humans could. He took off his armor and was only left with his pants, banner, shield, and hammer. On his chest, by the heart, there was a blue tattoo of a sun.
[ Barnir ]
“While the sun isn’t in the sky anymore… its warmth is still here!”
With one swing Barnir sends the cultist flying. In the air, his armor fell apart and fell on his comrades. He wasn’t the only one Barnir was pushing through like he did earlier but this time it was like he had much more strength. Seeing that Astvar thrust his staff into the ground and grabbed his sword. The staff sank to the ground leaving no trace of even being there.
[ Berfor ]
“Do you see that?! Men! Our captain is not dead! He is still fighting! Let’s join him!”
Earlier the tactic was just to fight the enemy but this time Berfor decided to push through the enemies and spread them. His main goal was to help Barnir but it bring better results than expected. Since there were so many cultists they blocked each other and most of the time prevented from attacking the enemy. Pure Sun was injuring those in the front but didn’t kill them. They were using them as a shield. It was a massacre. Outnumbered Pure Sun was slaughtering the cultists. The time has come and the fight was even. Hundred against hundred. While Pure Sun was exhausted, the cultist almost lost the will to fight but then something almost unimaginable happen. Barnir collapsed.
[ Astvar ]
“Father! Father! Wake up! There is no wound on him! How did he?”

[ Berfor ]
“He exhausted himself with the usage of power from gods. He’ll be okay. Take him to a safe place!” With Berfor’s command, two warriors picked up Barnir and took him behind the army. “Barnir is out! BUT! As he promised! He defeated so many enemies that we don’t have to worry anymore! MEN! Raise your weapons! And show them our strength!!!”
When the battle began Pure Sun had three hundred men and cultists had five hundred. The Battle ended with sixty-two Pure Sun warriors alive and eleven cultists running away. Few warriors tried to shoot them down with bows but they weren’t skilled enough to hit them from that distance. When they left the sight of the warriors, everyone went silent.
[ Berfor ]
“We… WE WON!!!”
The cheers and screams of happiness went on for a few minutes. Then everyone went to the camp to celebrate their victory. Injuries didn’t stop them from drinking and eating to their heart's content. There are only around sixty of them and there is food for three hundred people.
[ Berfor ]
“Feast and pray for the fallen! We all are drinking tonight! We, here on this island! They, in Valhalla!”
[ Warriors ]
“For those in Valhalla!” They shouted as they raised the cups to drink.
While everyone was celebrating, Astvar was in the tent sitting right beside his unconscious father. He could clearly hear warriors praising the fallen as well as his father. After all, he was the one who killed around a hundred enemies.
[ Berfor ]
“I knew I would find you here.” Said Berfor as he entered the tent.
[ Astvar ]
“Not drinking with the rest?”
[ Berfor ]
“I should be the one asking you this.”

[ Astvar ]
“I can’t… I have to be here when he wakes up.”
[ Berfor ]
“When he wakes up he’ll leave the tent. He isn’t injured, he only exhausted himself with that god’s powers.”
[ Astvar ]
“Yeah… but… Maybe you’re right…”
Astvar stood up and when he did, Berfor grabbed him by the shoulder, gave him a beer, and pulled him out of the tent. When they left few men noticed them and walked toward them.
[ Warrior 1 ]
“Hey! Come and drink! You deserve that for what you did!”
[ Warrior 2 ]
“Yeah! You were amazing out there! Like father like son!”
[ Astvar ]
“Come on guys… You’re giving me too much credit.”
[ Berfor ]
“No. It’s well-deserved credit.”
The celebration went on. A few men were so drunk that they couldn’t even speak well but it didn’t stop them from pouring more beer into their stomachs. Some were too exhausted to drink anymore so they went to sleep and some sang to their hearts' content. After a few hours, Barnir woke up and left the tent.
[ Warrior ]
“Barnir! Come and celebrate with us!” Said one man as he approached Barnir.
Before he could even touch him his head was smashed with a hammer. Everyone went silent as the body of a dead man hit the ground. Another man tried to calm him down, thinking that Barnir woke up expecting the fight to go on but he suffered the same fate as the man before him. Astvar couldn’t believe what he has just seen.
