As soon as he did this, the rest of the experts that held back on passing judgement on Long Di immediately marked him off as a fraud, a coward, and a weakling.
Once he was out of sight of the experts in the room, a startling explosion spread out as destruction escalated.
****
“What!?”
The elders and everyone else were shocked by this. It wasn’t just them, the experts who followed behind them and the crowd that was exiting the arena were also shocked by the spectacle.
They rushed outside to see a startling scene. Long Di was destroying Golden Lion Gate. He charged over to a building and using a silver sabre flickering with powerful lightning energy unforgivingly brought it down on the building, destroying it entirely.
As soon as he was finished he would move on to another building before he destroyed it as well.
Countless disciples of Golden Lion Gate were running all over like headless chickens while Long Di carried on uninhibited.
“What are you doing!?”
“Stop!”
“No!” Long Di yelled back. “You all bullied me!”
“You!”
The elders were shocked and enraged at Long Di’s brazen actions. He dared to destroy Golden Lion Gate right under their noses.
No… this wasn’t under their noses. This was ripping the nose off their faces, so it didn’t obstruct their vision, giving them a clear view of him doing it in front of their faces!
Boom!
The enforcement elder, who was already in battle mode, shot off towards Long Di.
“Meow!”
“What the-”
However, before he could get any closer, a large cat appeared before him.
Vhwoom!
A terrifying and bestial killing intent erupted that stole the warmth from the sun and plunged the area into a darkness metaphorical in form but literal in despair.
“A-A Shidashi Mao!? H-How!?” The enforcement elder was shocked at the appearance of such a thing!
Many people had seen Lord Whiskers these past few days. But save for a few who were exceptionally knowledgeable about certain things, the mass was unable to tie the calamitous scourge of a beast to the relatively well-controlled… thing that Long Di had been seen travelling with.
Shidashi maos were so synonymous with their killing intent and wanton killing and destruction that if one of them did nothing of the sort, it would seem too alien to deem it as such. Only those who had seen it with their own eyes or heard it from someone who had a firsthand encounter with one could bypass this characteristic to deem it as such.
This was why even though many people saw it, they didn’t think to connect it to that feared monster.
However, now, the enforcement elder, feeling all that Lord Whiskers Furryback the First held for him at that moment was undoubtedly sure. This thing was… is a shidashi mao.

“No.” His face paled as fear crawled its way into his heart and took root there.
Shu!
Lord Whiskers disappeared in the next instant before it emerged behind him. Before he could register anything else, three claws tore through his body as if it was paper set upon by scissors given liberty.
He was afforded no screams before all parts of his body were flung all over by the force of the blow.
And thus, Enforcement Elder Cheng of Golden Lion Gate died, just like this.
As soon as Lord Whiskers was finished with him, it set its sights on all the other Golden Lion Gate’s disciples.
“Control yourself!” Long Di’s voice came over to inject clarity into Lord Whiskers. “Only kill those who come for me. No one else! Destroy everything else until I say otherwise!”
Long Di didn’t want Lord Whiskers to get carried away in a drunken stupor of slaughter and carnage.
Lord Whiskers snorted in dissatisfaction before it sneered at the rest of the elders who came with the enforcement elder earlier. They didn’t dare to move as they were locked on by it and they were sure it would kill them if they made any move towards Long Di.
Who dares!?”
A booming voice echoed out as a powerful pressure surged forth and crashed down on Long Di.
“Are we playing truth or dare? Can I choose truth?” Long Di responded to the voice, wholly unaffected by the pressure it gave off.
Long Di saw a collection of buildings and charged up the lightning of his sabre before he released a slash of lightning towards them!
“Tch!”
An audible snort echoed out before a palm appeared out of nowhere and blocked the lightning, causing it to disperse in a crackle that exploded the air around it.
It was Grand Elder Jin Ya who made a move this time. When he fully surveyed the damage done to the sect, his expression turned ugly and his cultivation base exploded in his anger.
Nine red cauldrons spun furiously behind him. All nine of them had star cores and even one flashed even more intensely than the others.
Long Di saw this and speculated. “Peak Core Flame Evocation realm. Hell, he might be at the Quasi Cauldron Core Flame Fusion realm.”
“Child! What is the meaning of this!?”
Shu!
However, before Long Di could even deign to answer, a shadow flicked past him and appeared in front of Grand Elder Jin Ya.
“Meow!”
“Come again!?” Grand Elder Jin Ya was surprised to see a shidashi mao here. Its killing intent was still in full force as it hounded the Grand Elder.
A flurry of claws closed in on him and without holding back, he drew out a sword that he used to contend with the sharpness of Lord Whisker’s claws.

Shing!
Lord Whiskers’s claws lit up and as they swung through the air, ripples were left in their wake.
They crashed into the sword, and several cracks ran the length of it before it shattered.
“What!?”
Grand Elder Jin Ya was shocked that this shidashi mao was so powerful.
Before he could react, Lord Whiskers appeared behind him just like the enforcement elder, and he dug its claws into his back!
“Wait!” The Grand Elder saw his entire life flash before his eyes as Lord Whiskers’s limbs trembled as he readied to rip Grand Elder Jin Ya to shreds!
“Hmph!”
Lord Whiskers’s sense of danger screamed bloody murder and compelled the shidashi mao to distance itself from Grand Elder Jin Ya in an instant!
Shu!
As soon as it moved, a weapon slashed through the void right where Lord Whiskers was just a second ago.
Out of the void walked a middle-aged man. His black hair wasn’t long by any means, instead, it was short with a buzz cut that Long Di found unusual.
His face was square and his jaw strong. His mouth was wide and his nose was bigger than normal. His complexion was a bit darker than others, but other than this, nothing else of note about him stood out.
Well… nothing except for the nine red cauldrons that spun behind and one of them that had the star core inside of its burning a furious essence flame of an element Long Di couldn’t quite make out and really didn’t care much for, to begin with.
This was a First Fusion Martial Grandmaster!
“Sect Master!” Grand Elder Jin Ya was ecstatic to see Golden Lion Gate’s sect master.
“Trash!” The sect master cursed Grand Elder Jin Ya and flung him to some other elders in the distance.
He was disappointed in this Grand Elder of this. He didn’t even gauge the strength of the strongest entity on the field before engaging it in battle.
If he correctly calculated the strength of the shidashi mao, he could have rallied the rest of the elders with him and matched up with it.
“Child! Call off your beast!” The sect master barked.
Lord Whiskers purred as Long Di scratched between its ears.
“Give me the light shroud evil durian you all stole!” Long Di ordered.
The sect master’s expression changed as confusion reigned supreme. “Light shroud evil durian? We don’t have that!”
Long Di was just about to board Lord Whiskers without another word when a shout drew his attention.
He looked over to see Mina and the others rushing over to where he was.
“Wait!”
Before Long Di could say anything more, the sect master vanished from where he was and reappeared right in front of the group.
“So these are your people!” The sect master sneered as he reached for them and his spiritual qi locked them all down.
“Meow!” Lord Whiskers was about to make a move when Long Di held him back.
“Hold it Lord Whiskers.”
Shen Ling and the others couldn’t move at the moment and Lord Whiskers wasn’t fast enough to kill this sect master before he killed everyone.
After all, Lord Whiskers was just a quasi-rank 6 magical beast, it wasn’t truly in the sixth rank yet. This meant that its speed was only at the early stage of the cauldron core flame fusion realm.
“So you know how to hold yourself back,” the sect master said slowly as he stared at Long Di and Lord whiskers, not seeing any danger from the kids he just immobilised.
“You may want to-”
“Sect master Huang kill him!” Xiong Weizhe shouted. He was first jealous of Long Di but was at the same time dismissive of him. Anger and fear then filled him as he saw the power that Long Di had at his disposal in Lord Whiskers.
“Kill your beast!” Sect master Huang ordered.
He believed that Long Di had a slave mark on Lord Whiskers somehow. If this was the case, then it meant that he could order Lord Whiskers to do anything, even kill itself if needed.
“I refuse,” Long Di replied, seemingly not bothered at all.
Whoosh!
Sect Master Huang’s spiritual qi raged, and Shen Ling and the others paled. Their lives were completely in the sect master’s hands.
“Are you sure?” He sneered.
“If you kill them, I will kill you.” Long Di declared.
“With you and what army?” The sect master found Long Di incredulous. Did he think that just because he had control of one powerful beast he was unrivalled?
“Once I kill them, I will corner that shidashi mao of yours and kill it! I will see what you can do after that!”
Long Di was about to reply when a lazy voice echoed out.
“Long Di, should I kill him? If I do, I’ll have to leave right now.”
Sect master Huang turned his head in a hurry to see something sitting on his shoulder and living its best life.
Was this a cat?

New World to Experience
YGGDRASIL was ending, and Apoc was hoping to see the game as it ends. And fortunately, he did. But he was transported into a world that is back in the past, yet seemingly not the same world, and coincidentally in an island that was cut off from the mainlands. What should he do? Find a way back home? Or stay and change the flow of time? A little note here; this story is a bit rushed. Considered that it is old and I have little time to revise the story whole. But unless you dont mind it and decided to just read it for the sakes out of it, then be my guest... Not in a offending way obviously.
