Ash: (clear my mind, clear my mind, clear my mind)
Gloria: Ahhh this isn't working, we've been doing this for 30 minutes now!!
Ash: If you have any better ideas, go ahead
Korrina: -gets up frustrated- Lucario!! Get out of you pok-
Bea: -covers her mouth- That's a bad idea, if Lucario comes out it will be suffocated upon the mass of all these poke balls
Korrina: Then I guess I'll get closer! -jumps in the pool of pokeballs- Ow that hurts
Ash: Of course it hurts. You're jumping on metal.
Gloria: I guess this is what we're doing -jumps in to-
Bea: -sighs- You don't think many people before us tried this? I'm going to do it the right way -gets back to meditating-
Ash: (I have to remember back when riolu first hatched and ran off. I felt its emotion, and I was able to find riolu. But now, Riolu's in a pokeball so it's going to be even more difficult. Come on, why can't I feel you!?)
-Some time pass-
Bea: -turns to Ash- Ash, this is clearly going to take a while, so let's try this. -she puts her hands on top of Ash's hands-
Bea: Let's try to meditate together -closed her eyes-
Ash: -worried- (Her face doesn't say it, but her hands. Even if it's a little, she is shaking. I guess even she's scared, scared to lose her Pokémon. I have to somehow find a way to do this! Mustard said aura is like the ocean, you need to link all the rivers together so that they flow into one ocean. Links, I'm guessing these links are us the trainer, and the Pokémon) -opens his eyes-
Ash: Hey Bea, about these links Mustard was talking about. He was referring to us, the trainer, and our Pokémon themselves, if I'm reading it right?

Bea: I thought so too, but how exactly do we link with our Pokémon through a pokeball?
Ash: We'll figure it out somehow.
Bea: Actually, I want to try something -grabs a pokeball-
Ash: A battle? At this time?
Bea: Grandfather also said something like "use that emotion to find what you've lost." At this rate we'll never lock in on our Pokémon since there are so many other pokeballs here.
Ash: Wait, I get it! You want to battle to try and draw our Pokémon's aura out. We weren't able to focus on our partners because of the lingering aura from these dead Pokémon.
Bea: -laughs- Now we're on the same wave link. Who are you, you're really intelligent. Why did you want to train with my grandfather?
Ash: I have my reasons, I tell you when I feel like it
Bea: That's how it's going to be -smiles and hits his shoulder- Let's do this
Ash: HaHa (She's really strong, that hurt) And you laughed, you don't seem like the type to laugh so I remember this moment
Bea: Whatever you say, hurry up and select your Pokémon
Ash: -gets up and takes out Charizard's pokeball-
Bea: Ready!!
Ash: You bet!
Bea: Then let's go!
-Both throw their pokeballs-
Blaziken: Blaze!
Charizard: Raaaaa!
Bea: Get warmed up Blaziken
-Blaziken starts running circles around Charizard-
Ash: Get ready buddy!!
Bea: Now Blaze kick!!
-Blaziken charges at Charizard with a Blaze kick straight to the stomach, but it doesn't phrase it-
Bea: W-what, if didn't even flinch
Charizard: Raaaa!! -grabs blazikens leg and throw it-
Ash: Use Fire Punch!!
-Charizard quick catches up to Blaziken, and before it touches the ground he hits it with a nasty fire punch to its side sending it flying-
Bea: -Turns back to blaziken shocked- (What speed and power, it even took a point blank Blaze kick from my blaziken)

Ash: -rubs his nose- This here is my ace, it's not to be messed with -suddenly gets a strange feeling- What the!?
Bea: What's wrong?
Ash: I just felt it, I felt riolu!
Bea: -gets the same feeling- I just got it, that means this is working
Bea: Don't count us out yet! Blaziken!
Blaziken: -gets up- Ken!
Bea: Flamethrower!!
Ash: Counter it with yours
-The flames collide creating waves of beautiful spirals-
Ash: Awe that feels good
Bea: Sure does! Go for a Blaze kick again!
-Blaziken speed increases and the flames are more wild-
Ash: (Oh that's look bad) Charizard dodged this one!
Bea: It's too late
-The Blaze kick makes contact pushing back Charizard-
Bea: Jumping in the air and use blazing axe kick!!
-Blaziken jumps high in the air and comes down like heavy rain-
Ash: Charizard Flare blitz!
-The clash creates a massive shockwave in the room-
-Ash and Bea get that feeling again, but this time it doesn't go away
Bea: I can feel him, I can feel Medicham!
Ash: Same here
-They both look at the pool-
Ash: We showed them we're here, now it's up to them to respond. Once both of us are in unity then we can find them
Bea: Should we continue battling?
Ash: I doubt that's going to work anymore. Even now we can feel them, their presence hasn't decreased or risen.
Bea: Then we should meditate again and see what happens
Ash: Good idea
-They both meditate with each other while holding hands-
-Gloria and Korrina pop their heads out-
Gloria: What was that shockwave!?
Korrina: I don't know -looks over to Gloria and Korrina- They're still at it. Damn.
Gloria: This is looking hopeless
-With Mustard in another room-
Mustard: I already knew Bea was something, but that boy. That boy is special, his aura is so pure, so beautiful. I've never seen this before...wait, have I?
Honey: I know they signed up for this but what will I say to their parents when they fail?
Mustard: Hyde won't oppose it, and about the other girl's parents, you can handle that. Even if the boy fails, I still want to see him. There's something really strange about him.

Game, Set, Match
You all know the story. The world changes, people get told by mysterious floating menus that earth is no longer the safe haven many first world countries assume it is. People gain magnificent powers. Mages are awesome. Humanity, Fuck Yeah, and all that. I've read the webnovels, seen the tropes. Nothing prepared me for reality. If this works as it should, then you'll be reading this sometime before everything changed. I hope this gives you a chance once it does. As someone on the other side of time, you cannot stop it, but you can fight it. If the world knows whats coming, and people indeed listen, this is game, set, and match.
