You're A Wizard Y/n...
That's right readers I have decided to dip my toes into the world of the Harry Potter books. So far I have completed 110 chapters and I am on the Half Blood Prince so got a little while to go, but I do hope this is a story people will all enjoy.
Steven, Y/n and Connie were taking selfies outside on the hill to the Beach House.
"You blinked!" Connie says.
"Which one of us?" Y/n asks.
"Both of you." Connie says looking at the photo.
"Let's just take another one." Steven says.
"Oh wait. What if we get a shot with the beautiful view behind us?" Connie walks towards the sea. "Come on you guys!"
Steven blushes, and gets up to join Connie with Y/n following behind as crouches down for them.
Connie holds up the phone now. "Say 'cheese'!"
"Cheeeese!"
Steven, Y/n and Connie try to maintain smiling, while Connie tries unsuccessfully to tap on the capture button.
"Did it do it?" Steven mumbles.
"I don't know." Connie mumbles back.
"Why don't I just take some photos for you guys instead." Y/n suggests as Connie and Steven let their smiles down now.
"That does seem like it will be more practical." Steven says and Connie nods as she hands Y/n her phone now.
Connie and Steven stand next to each other now and smile as Y/n holds up the phone. "Okay, just a little closer together." Y/n tells them and the two move closer to one another now. "And...perfect." Y/n says as he takes a couple of photos now.
"Heh. You guys look cute." A voice comments as three turn around to see a mail man.
"Jamie!" Steven cries.
"What's up, Steven? Long time No see!" Jamie says.
Steven runs towards Jamie now as Y/n and Connie slowly follow behind. "Ohhhh... myyy... gooosh!" Steven excitedly gives a high-five to Jamie, laughing. "Jamie, this is Y/n and Connie."
"Greetings, Y/n and Connie." Jamie says to the two and they give a friendly wave.
"So, where you been at?" Steven asks now.
"Oh, you know, just spendin' some time where all the big pictures are made..." Jamie says trying to sound impressive.
"Uh, where's that?" Steven asks.
"Just a little place called Kansas!" Jamie waves his hand across the air.
"Well I don't think you're not in Kansas anymore." Y/n jokes.
"Oh! Are you an aspiring thespian?" Connie asks now.
"Why, ah-yes I am." Jamie bows.
"Wow, I didn't know you wanted to be an actor." Steven says.
"That's because..." Jamie turns around and clenches his fist dramatically. "I'm very good at acting."
Steven and Connie clap in amazement.
"Is that why you're wearing those cool glasses that say "Movie Star"?" Steven asks as he points to Jamie's sunglasses.
Jamie blushes embarrassed. "Uh, well, no. I just bought these at a souvenir shop. I missed being a regular old mailman, so I just came back. And, uh, you got a lot of mail while I was gone." Jamie puts down the big bag he was carrying now.
"Looks like the postal service has been slacking off." Connie comments.
"It would explain where all those parcels you kept telling me about didn't show up went." Y/n adds.
"Jamie's the only mailman that knows where I live." Steven tells Connie and Y/n.
Jamie hands out his sign pad. "I'm gonna need a lot of signatures as well."

Steven crack his knuckles, but no noise is made.
"Your knuckles are so quiet." Connie says.
"My hands are polite." Steven replies.
Y/n looks to the side now as he notices Garnet emerging from the ocean "Oh, It's Garnet."
"Hi, Garnet!" Steven calls out and waves to her.
"Hello, Garnet!" Connie also greets her.
"Who's Garneeee...?!" Jamie turns to look at Garnet, drenched and approaching from the ocean, and is immediately starstruck. He then takes off his sunglasses to have a better view, as Garnet approaches nearer.
"Howdy." Garnet says.
"Whatcha up to, Garnet?" Steven asks her.
"I was just at the bottom of the ocean checking for signs of Lapis and Jasper." Garnet tells him.
"Did you have any luck?" Y/n asks.
"Nope." Garnet replies.
"As to be expected I suppose." Y/n sighs.
Jamie looks at Garnet still amazed. "Wow, how are you able to swim to the bottom of the ocean?"
Garnet holds her visor. "It was easy, I'm a really... good... swimmer."
Jamie stares speechlessly at Garnet's lips and blushes.
"Excuse me." Garnet then forcefully shrugs all the water of her body, causing it to vaporize in midair. A shocked Jamie quickly hide his face behind his hat, blushing and staring in awe.
It was later in the day as Y/n and Connie were helping Steven check out his parcels on the beach.
"Uh... Steven? Why did you receive so many boxes of "Sea Pals"?" Connie asks as she picks up a box of Sea Pals ad Y/n looks to see at least a dozen more boxes besides him.
"Uh... I ordered one at first but it never showed up, So I kept ordering." Steven tells her.
"Are you going to start a farm?" Connie then asks.
Steven laughs. "No!" Steven as says as he picks up another Sea Pals box. "I'm gonna set 'em free. Into the sea!" He winds his arm back getting ready to attempt to throw the box, when Jamie shows up again. "Jamie?"
"Ha..ha...hi, Steven." Jamie says nervously.
"Please tell me you didn't bring more Sea Pals with you." Y/n says to Jamie.
"What? No, I... just came to, uh..." Jamie starts blushing embarrassed. "Uh... uh-umm..."
"What's that?" Steven asks pointing to a pink envelop Jamie is holding.
Jamie begins blushing furiously now. "Uh... It's... Uh... here!" He hands the envelop to Steven.
"But, what is... it?" Steven asks as the three look at it but hear no response. "Jamie?"
They look up now to see Jamie starts pacing away, sweating profusely. Steven flips the letter to the other side, revealing that the letter was for Garnet, and they both Steven and Connie gasp. Jamie then starts laughing and flapping him arms in joy as he paces further away.
Steven and Connie run towards the house, bursting through the door just as Garnet is about to leave.
"Garnet! Garnet! Garnet! The most unbelievable thing has happened! You'll absolutely die of shock!"
Y/n catches up to house now as he opens the beach house door and enters.
"I'm busy, Steven." Garnet tells Steven as she summons her Lava Goggles and attempts to leave now.
"But... You got a letter!" Steven holds up the envelope.
Garnet pauses, turns around and turns off her goggles. "Read it."
Steven opens the envelope and reads Jamie's letter. "To Garnet. When I saw you rise like an ancient like an ancient sea nymph, a white hot steel pierced the deepest artery of my being. You, you are a cardiac surgeon and I am your transplant patient, and you stand poised over my chest, holding my still beating heart. Hesitating, waiting, wondering. So I implore you to join me for dinner, or maybe lunch if you wanna keep it casual, next Friday at the Crab Shack! I await your response as the camellia awaits the rise of the moon! 'Cause, you know, it only blooms at night and stuff. Love Jamie."

Connie turns to Garnet. "I think Jamie is asking you out..." She blushes. "On a date!"
"Well that ain't happening." Steven comments.
"Nope." Garnet says bluntly.
"Why not?" Connie asks,
"Garnet is already in a relationship." Y/n says.
"Wait, really?" Connie asks next.
"Well, yeah! She is a relationship." Steven says,
Connie blushes again. "Oh you mean cause she's a fusion."
"I think I met Ruby back on the ship but I never got to meet Sapphire." Y/n says trying to remember.
"Yes. You met Ruby." Garnet says nodding.
"She must really care about Sapphire, given how determined she was to find her." Y/n says and Garnet just smiles as she adjusts her visor.
"Ruby and Sapphire are so close, that they can't stand to be apart." Steven says.
"Oh. So I guess this date with Jamie is out of the question." Connie comments..
"I don't need..." Garnet starts.
"But guys! Jamie put so much thought into this letter. It would be rude not to reply!" Connie tells them.
The four then gathered in the living room of the beach house, and Connie prepares to write Garnet's reply.
Connie sets a sheet of paper on the table. "Okay, Garnet. It might be best to play out the tone of his letter. And start off with something like... Dearest Jamie,". She writes the greeting on the paper. "Okay, go for it, Garnet!"
"Start with a letter N." Garnet instructs.
"Huh, okay." Connie writes N on the paper. "What next?"
"Uh, the letter O." Garnet says.
"Uh, okay! You can just say the whole word instead of spelling it out." Connie says as she writes O.
"Period". Garnet finishes.
"Hm." Connie reads the letter. "So... N, O, Period? Oh..." Connie realizes Garnet's spelling reads No.
"Well...It's straight to the point..." Y/n says scratching the back of his head.
"I... think we'll need more than that." Steven says now.
"The End, Forever. And even after that." Garnet adds.
"Yours truly, Garnet!" Steven finishes.
Connie picks up the letter and reads it through but her brow furrows.
Steven and Connie are running together, looking for Jamie.
"Where do you think he could be?" Connie asked.
"I dunno." Steven says. "He could be dropping off mail halfway around the world by now!"
"There he is!" Connie says pointing to Jamie who is sitting on a log on the beach, staring out in the yonder.
"Jamie!"
"Oh hi, Connie and Steven." Jamie says as Connie and Steven sit on the log next to him. "You guys come here to stare at the ocean and think about life too?"
"Uh, no... ? We came to uh..."
"Yeah, life is crazy." Jamie interupts. "One day you're right here in Beach City delivering mail and then the next thing you know, you're on a bus to Kansas, following your dreams of becoming an actor. 'Follow your dreams,' they said. But no one said anything about all the rejection and sadness there was to be found. So many auditions day after day. So much rejection day after day. That's why I came back. One more rejection would have destroyed my fragile heart." He sobs, wipes away his tearful eyes, then chuckles. "Sorry, sometimes I get caught up in the 'drama zone', you know?"
"Yeah, right... 'drama zone'." Steven turns to Connie in worry.
"Oh, by the way, we have something for y... " Connie tries to give Jamie the letter.
Steven quickly stops Connie. "No we don't!"
"Oh hey you're back so soon?" Did you give Jamie Garnet's letter?" Y/n asks the two as they walk back into the Beach house.
"No, How can we give this letter to Jamie now? He might get upset."
"Hm. " Connie picks up a pencil. "We can make adjustments. We can match Jamie's poetic language and let him down easy!" She says as she opens up the letter and starts erasing words on the page. "I watched some episodes of a torrid soap opera once, so I'm confident that I get the gist of romance. Err... " She erases harder. "There!" Connie then starts to write on the paper. "Dear Jamie. You, dear camellia, expectantly await the light of my moon, yet my light is more of a scorching, wilting, dry desert heat. And as for your metaphorical surgeon, it is with a heavy heart that I urge you to seek a second opinion. I return your heart to you..."
"Also, your hair is nice." Steven quickly adds.
"Hair... is... nice. Yours, but not really, Garnet." Connie finishes writing but Y/n looks at the page unsure.
"Perfect." Steven cheers as he and Connie walk to the beach and puts the letter into the Steven's mailbox.
"Mission accomplished." Steven declares.
"I just hope he get the right message..." Y/n sighs unsure of the two's plan.
It was Night Time as rain beat down on the town. Connie and Y/n had gone back to their homes for the day now as Steven was sat in his room playing video games when he hears a voice calling outside.
"Garnet!" The voice cries.
"Huh?" Steven wonders as he runs out of the house and leans against the railing on the porch to look down and see Jamie.
"Garnet! Where art thou, my sweet scorching sunbeam?" Jamie cries dramatically.
"Oh no!" Steven says.
Jamie makes exaggerated gestures. "Garnet! I read thy letter and I understand. Thou hast returneth mine heart!"
"What? No, that's not what..." Steven tries to call out to Jamie.
"Garnet. You like my hair just as I adore yours. Come to me, Garnet." Jamie says.
"Jamie!" Steven shouts now getting his attention.
"Ah, young master Steven, pray thee, where is Lady Garnet?" Jamie asks him.
"She... She's no... She's not coming." Steven tells him.
"But I've come to proclaim my love for my woman!" Jamie replies.
"No, Jamie, you don't understand, I..." Steven starts to say but Garnet walks out onto the porch too, standing beside Steven.
"Garnet! Hah, you've come. You can tell Steven about all the beautiful things you wrote to me in your missive. *produces the letter Steven and Connie wrote*
Garnet looks slightly surprised. "I didn't write that." She says.
"But it's all right here, stained with tears of joy, and now also rain." Jamie declares.
"Mmmm... Connie and I wrote that letter, Jamie!" Steven now blurts out in guilt.
"What?" Jamie says taken aback.
"I'm so sorry, Jamie. We just wanted to let you down easy." Steven tells him.
Jamie looks up sadly. "Willst thou not scorch me, my darling sun?" He asks Garnet.
"I am not, nor will I ever be interested. Go away!" Garnet tells him sternly.
Jamie clenches his fist against his chest and holds out his other hand dramatically. "M-My panache!" He then runs away crying.
"Jaaamieeeee!" Steven calls out worried.
It was the Next Day as Steven was telling Y/n and Connie what had happened the night before with Jamie.
"I was worried he wouldn't understand properly..." Y/n sighs as he rubs his eyes.
"Oh boy." Connie says feeling bad for her part in the letter.
"I feel so bad for poor Jamie." Steven says glumly.
"Yeah, but I'm sure he'll bounce back from this in no time. He's probably gonna show up with the mail any moment now." Connie say trying to be positive.
Steven smiles. "Yeah."
Connie smiles back at Steven.
At that moment a middle aged woman wearing a post workers uniform rounds the corner of the cliff. "'Scuse me, kids!" She calls out getting the three's attention and they see her holding a letter. "I'm looking for the home of... Steven Universe?" She reads the address.
"I'm the home of Steven Universe." Steven says as he approaches the woman now.
"Hey! You're Greg's boy!" The woman says seemingly recognising Steven. "I thought Jamie was pulling my leg when he told me you were living over here."
"Wait, where is Jamie?" Steven asks.
"Oh, that poor kid's emotions have been destroyed!" The woman replies.
"Whaaat!?" Steven cries.
"Yeah, he's a mess! Said he couldn't bear to deliver mail on this route again after having his love spurned." The woman starts as Y/n and Connie walk up next to Steven. "He said it just like this." The woman now imitates Jamie's mannerisms "Like, like when he's in the "drama zone". Then he clenched his fist and closed his eyes like this, full of drama 'til the end. Anyway, here's a book of coupons. Have a good one!" She hands Steven the coupons and walks away.
Connie and Steven exchange a concerned look when Garnet jumps out of the ocean into the air, obscuring the sun, and carrying a Water Gem monster. Steven, Y/n and Connie watch in amazement as Garnet lands onto the beach, slams the gem monster on the sand and punches its gem, then bubbles. Garnet then turns to look at Steven and Connie.
"You look sad." Garnet says without inflection to the two.
"We really messed up this time." Steven says sadly.
"Because of us, Jamie is feeling lower than ever." Connie tells Garnet.
"We shattered the man!" Steven cries.
Tears well up in Connie's eyes. "He'll never love again!"
"Let's go talk to him." Garnet sats as she starts walking into the town.
"But your words will destroy him!"
"Can't you just, like, zap his brain so he forgets any of this ever happened?" Steven asks.
Jamie is seen sitting on the same log as before, holding a handful of letters as seagulls fly nearby. He sighs, burying his head on his arm,s and then raises his hand, letting the wind blow and scatter the letters into the sea. A shadow casts over Jamie, and he turns around to see Garnet.
"Jamie."
Jamie looks surprised. "Garnet!"
Garnet sits down on the log next to Jamie, causing him to blush, while Steven, Y/n and Connie remain a few steps away.
"I didn't mean to upset you." Garnet starts.
"Then will you go out with me?" Jamie asks.
"No!" Garnet says a little annoyed now.
Jamie looks up at her with a dreamy expression. "But I've loved you since the moment I saw you."
"Love at first sight doesn't exist. Love takes time, and love takes work. At the very least you have to know the other person. And you literally have no idea of who, or what, I am." Garnet says as her visor glimmers.
"But I bloom for you like... like a... camellia... under moon light." Jamie says his voice breaking.
"No, you don't. Jamie." Y/n says bluntly now as Jamie looks sad, and Steven and Connie look a little surprised.
Y/n sits down on the log the other side of Jamie now. "You don't know what love is Jamie, If I asked you about love you probably quote me a sonnet. But you've never looked at a woman and been totally vulnerable. Known someone could level you with her eyes. Feeling like God put an angel on earth just for you...who could rescue you from the depths of hell. And you wouldn't know what it's like to be her angel and to have that love for her to be there forever. Through anything. Through cancer. You wouldn't know about sleeping sitting' up in a hospital room for two months holding her hand because the doctors could see in your eyes that the term 'visiting hours' don't apply to you. You don't know about real loss, because that only occurs when you love something more than you love yourself."
"Wow..." Jamie says awe stuck. "You've felt like that before?" He asks.
"Not me." Y/n says shaking his head. "That's what my dad did for my mom, for love. I don't know what love is yet either Jamie, I've never experienced it but I what I do know is that it takes time to learn you really love someone. What you had is just a crush or infactuation." Y/n says now.
Jamie looks down as he thinks about Y/n's words.

Giant monsters roam the land Civilization is frozen in a savage age. For the beast slayer Alden, power and survival are one and the same. The ancient evil that once ravaged his village and murdered his ancestors has returned. At the same time, politics hurls Alden and his crew into gladiator pit battles for control of the throne. When Alden takes possession of a cursed sword promising untold power, the hunter is determined to save his people by slaying every giant monster standing between him and the throne. But the angry ghost trapped inside the blade has other ideas. Buckle up for the brutal LitRPG ride of a lifetime Savage Hunters is an alternate-world neolothic fantasy. Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.

A/N: I was like 19 when I wrote this book. It's not my best work. 😭 Genesis Carter and Jeremiah "East" Wright thought that they had life all figured out until they met each other. Their romance was slow but sure, bringing a world of chaos along with it. Will they defy the odds and hold each other down? Or will unfortunate circumstances break them apart?
