The game had started and was already becoming intense. Maria had already gotten the first two points while the rival school had one.

Eren was the QB and he had started so you got to see his skills clearly.

His throw was precise and smooth and he was quick with his senses. He would occasionally throw off the other team by running instead of throwing it. He was really quick on his feet & was sneaking through the opposing team. You actually liked watching him play, he played with passion & was serious with his game which you admired.

He played like someone who wanted to do something with his football career. He could definitely make a division if he continued played like this.

Shortly after the first quarter finally ended and you, Nova and Zi went to the snack bar. While waiting in line you heard someone call you name. You stood out slightly to get a better look at who it was and saw it was Daniela. You smiled and she waved y'all over to her spot in the line.

"Thanks for letting us up girl!" Nova smiled.

"No problem hun! Y'all enjoying the game?" Daniela asked. Nova nodded while she got all of y'all food from the snack bar.

"Yeah just waiting for halftime," you shrugged taking your chips from Nova. "Ouu, what's going on at halftime?" Daniela pestered. You figured it wouldn't be a big deal to tell Daniela what was going on since it's not like she had anything to do with Eren, right?

Daniela's eyes widened slightly before she put on a smile and did a mini celebration. "That's so cute sis! I think I'll do my thing at halftime too," You shrugged and said your goodbyes before you and your crew walked back towards the stands.

The second quarter had 5 more minutes left with it being 20-23 and you were at the edge of your seat. Not only because of the game though but because Eren's surprise was coming soon and you couldn't wait. It was an intense few minutes but at the 1 minute mark Eren had thrown the ball to Malakai and he brought home the touchdown, making the score 26-23. The Paradis side roared in celebration and you could see the team crowd and hype up Kai too. With that the whistle blew, signaling the break of the game.

You watched as Connie, Kai and Eren spoke together before he and Kai started walking in the direction of the bleachers. Nova gasped watching you get up and walked down with you while Zion followed behind you two.

Eren looked up at you with a nervous smile while you covered your mouth, giggling continuing to walk down.

But when you reached the end of the bleacher stairs and he was on the track, you saw a small group and someone holding a poster.

"Happy Anniversary baby!" you heard a familiar voice yell. The group finally back up and you saw a girl with big curly hair hugging Eren with a bag on her wrist.

The same girl you helped at the Lo-Fi's, the same girl who let you up the line with a smile on her face, the same girl you just told about your halftime confession while she cheered you on.

Here she was, all up on Eren talking about an anniversary. You hoped that Eren would push off because she was just a crazy girl who thought they were something serious but Eren just stayed there, letting her hug him. She let go and he looked down at her and all he could mutter was her name. He looked up at you with a look of guilt. He really knew her.

You shook your head and walked down the stands and out the game. Eren and Kai yelled after you while Nova tried to catch up to you, telling you it would be okay.

A thousand thoughts swirled in your mind everything that occurred just seemed unreal. You didn't even care about what Eren wanted to tell you or anything else for that matter.

All you wanted to do was forget.
