The Fortis Castle; Gothic building in ‘Britain’s Battle of The Styles’, the conflict between Gothic Style and Classic style in architecture. The tiers of enormous mullioned windows reach across the facade, nearly 300 meter long. The building was topped with grateful Flemish-style gabbles. The stonework and exterior, they used marble stones to build the castle and used the rose golds which made from real golds to make the frames of windows and doors.

The Fortis Castle has 4 main towers, which occupied the 4 corners of the castle, the north-east, the north-west, the south-east and the south-west. They had designed the towers as spire, markedly contrasts with the more massive square tower. It used for the military and security of the castle.

There were a large garden roses on the East side of castle and several small gardens surrounding the castle.

The Fortis Castle has 3 floors and contained over 900 rooms. The ground floor has occupied by offices, reception room, meeting rooms, dining rooms, banquet halls and servant rooms. The first floor has occupied by guest rooms, drawing rooms, living rooms, study rooms, lobby, and library. The second floor used for private rooms by The Fortis Family members.

They designed the interior by Gothic style, marble wall, dark oak flooring, and the decorative rose golds.

The decorative theme of Ilario’s room was like modern gothic style, navy blue wall, dark oak flooring, and the decorative rose golds. The luxury and glossy furniture, markedly contrasts with the dark colors in the room. The vaulted ceiling designed and the large windows of Gothic Style, which let in a lot of natural sunlight and chased out the gloom. It was creating warmth and luxury. Apart from that, there was also a balcony connect to room, it made the room light and airy.

Ilario woke up in the morning, he slept well in a comfortable bed. His life has changed so much after he returned here, even though, the soul had changed but the real Ilario had stayed here since he was born.

Verna, who was a nanny, knocked at the door and came inside. She was in her mid-thirties, chubby, brown hair, brown eyes, she looks kindly. Her warm personality was like Ms. Carina.

Ilario also learned from Verna that most of the old servants were afraid of him. A real Ilario at the young age had fired many servants with the reason ‘he doesn’t like them’ or ‘they could not satisfy his order’. A real Ilario was self-willed and bad temper. In other word, he was a real trash.

Verna likes to take care of Ilario. She prepares everything that related to daily life for him, she even helps him change his clothes. Ilario had refused her once but she was sad and complained to herself. She loves and respects him very much. She had taken care a real Ilario faithfully despite his personality. It was better to let her do the same since he could not recall any memories of that time.

Ilario went to dining room, his parents and Beatrice were waiting for him to have breakfast together. They are warm family. We have breakfast and dinner together since he returned here. They reminded him about his family in his previous life.

However, their loves are too much for him. He felt guilty for pretending to be their real son, even so, he could not tell them all the truth.

Beatrice was very happy after she knew that he was her biological brother. She often asks him to play with her since then.

Ilario did not know his parents name but he asked some information from Verna. The Fortis family had inherited power, honor, and wealth from Helius and his wife, Princess Salviya of Ferrum. For that reason, they were one of powerful family in Sapientia Empire.

His father, the present Marquess of Fortis who rule the Fortis Territory, Lucifer H. De Fortis; he was 35 years old, tall handsome, black neat hair, light blue eyes, he was very kind and warm. He inherited all types of magic power at medium to high level form direct bloodline of Helius. — Lucifer was a Magus, a good Lord, and a good businessman. He has successfully developed Fortis Territory, brought the peacefulness and wealth to the people in Fortis Territory. There were no jobless and less orphan. He was supporting the orphanage and giving jobs to the orphans when they grew up. Everyone loves and respect him. — Lucifer has only one problem, he was too kind. He did not fool but he likes to help people. The Fortis Family has the great fortunes, it was high enough for many generations even they do nothing. Aside from that, he had succeeded to grow the family’s businesses and made a lot of money. As a result, he had enough budget to help people and manage territory well.

His mother, the present Marchioness of Fortis, Bellatrix De Fortis; she was 32 years old, smart, elegant, charming, long light brown hair, green eyes. She came from The Iustitia Family, one of the hero families. She inherited wind magic power at medium to high level and she was great at swordsmanship. She was a Bellator, she had worked as a vice commander of Iustitia Knight Army. — Bellatrix was smart and sharp, she was good at managing servants. But she was kind to her family, especially her children, she often hugs and kisses both of Ilario and Beatrice.

After breakfast, Bellatrix said, “We have something to talk to you, Eli”

“Yes, Mother” Ilario said. ‘Eli’ was his nickname.

“Feline, take care of Bia.” Bellatrix said to Feline, a maid.

“Yes, My Lady” said Feline, she was in her early twenties, brown hair, and brown eyes. She was always taking care of Beatrice sincerely.

Ilario and his parents went to Lucifer’s working room. He slowly adjusted to living with this family in a past month. He behaved himself well. He told them the made-up stories that he lost his memory and got help from elves, and he found Beatrice coincidentally because she lost consciousness at Magnus Forest. He did not tell everything to them because his father really loves his uncle. Ilario did not trust his great uncle but he had no proof of his guilt.

Back to one month ago,

Ilario was holding Beatrice and following a knight to the main gate.

Curtis, who was a butler, wearing black suit and glasses, he was in his early fifties, thin, white hair, and grey eyes. He was surprised when he saw Ilario but he stayed calm and greeted Ilario politely.

“It’s a great pleasure to welcome you back, Young Lord” said Curtis sincerely.

“Where are my parents?” Ilario asked shortly.

“Lord Lucifer is coming back. Her Ladyship is waiting for Young Lord and Young Lady inside,” said Curtis politely.

Ilario was holding Beatrice and went inside the castle. There were several maids standing on both sides, they bowed at him, some whispered, some was anxious. He had a strange feeling with their reaction, he guessed that a real Ilario was not popular among the servants.

Bellatrix came on the way to Ilario, she was surprised when she saw Ilario and Beatrice. Her missing children came back together. She hugged both of Ilario and Beatrice and cried with happiness.

Beatrice woke up and saw her mother.

“Mom! Bia miss Mom so much,” said Beatrice happily.

“I miss you too,” She kissed Beatrice on the cheek.

“Brother is great. He could take Bia home,” said Beatrice cheerfully.

Bellatrix was surprised when Beatrice called Ilario ‘Brother’. She has never told Beatrice about Ilario before.

Lucifer arrived at main gate, he ran up to their way.

“How? Thanks to the goddess. Belle, our child” Lucifer talked to Bellatrix surprisingly, he hugged everyone with happiness.

Ilario felt so much love from them, they are warm and kind. While we were hugging each other, Ilario felt killing intent from the main gate. He saw his great uncle, Cornelius came to their way, he was in his mid-forties, big, high muscle, dark brown hair, neat hairstyle, circle beard, and blue eyes. Ilario saw the inherited mark on back of his right hand but a mark was completely dark, there was no gold aura around it.

“Uncle! Eli and Bia came back safely. It’s a miracle,” Lucifer talked to Cornelius happily.

“It’s a relief. How could they come back?” Cornelius asked.

“Oh…I did not ask them yet,” Lucifer said.

Ilario knew immediately that Cornelius was one of the culprits that was behind the incident of kidnaps, he could not hide his killing intent even he was talking to his father, only pretending. Ilario wondered why his parents did not realize his bad intention.

“Father, we would like to get some rest,” said Ilario, he did not want his great uncle to know more in details for now.

“Ah…yes, you must be tired. Curtis, take Eli and Bia to their rooms,” Lucifer said.

“I will take care of them myself,” said Bellatrix nicely, she was holding Beatrice’s hand and led the way to Ilario’s room.

“Your room had been being maintained in a good condition. We really hope that you will come back someday,” said Bellatrix tearfully, “I’m glad you came back safely. We were looking for you many years since then…” she could not finish her words and cried.

“Please don’t cry. I’m glad to see you again, Mother” said Ilario sincerely.

“You grew up and being mature,” said Bellatrix fondly, she hugged him and went out of the room.

“Solaris, can you follow that uncle guy? I think that he will do something bad again,” Ilario asked.

“Of course,” Solaris said and disappeared.

“Luna, please stay with Bia and protect her. I’m kind of worry about her,” Ilario said.

“I got it. I will take care of her,” Luna said and disappeared.

Back to present, in Lucifer’s working room.

“We want to talk to you about the private tutors. You have to enroll at The Libertas Academy next year, you may need to prepare yourself, Eli” Lucifer said.

“Yes, Father” Ilario said.

“Hmph…You’ve changed so much. Did you remember that you’ve never been obedient to anything we had told you?” Lucifer asked nicely.

“I apologize for my behavior at that time,” said Ilario politely, he wanted to change the image of Ilario to everyone.

“Would you like to learn swordsmanship from me?” Bellatrix asked fondly, she was hugging Ilario.

“Yes, I would like to, Mother” Ilario said.

“Learn the basic with your great uncle first. Your mother is very skilled at swordsmanship. You might get hurt,” said Lucifer kindly.

“Yes, I will learn with great uncle. So, I can learn from mother later,” said Ilario cheerfully, he smiled at Bellatrix.

Ilario thought to himself, ‘Yes, I will learn and deal with him at once. It’s really a good chance. Thank you, Father.’

“Mwah… Good boy,” said Bellatrix, she kissed him on the cheek.

Ilario was still not familiar with the intimate relationship with this family, they really love their son and give a lot of hugs and kisses very often. In his previous life, his mother hugged him when he was young and not so often.

In the afternoon, Beatrice came to play with Ilario. Her cuteness really defeated him and made him want to spoil her. She was intelligence and cheerful, it made everyone love and adore her.

“Brother, play with Bia” said Beatrice cheerfully.

“Okay. Would you like to listen a fairy tale?” Ilario asked her kindly.

“No, Bia would like to play outside,” said Beatrice determinedly.

“It’s dangerous to play outside, Bia” said Ilario kindly, he worried that she might encounter with the spies.

“But Bia is boring. Bia would like to ride an Angel,” Beatrice used her eyes to beg Ilario.

“I will take care of her,” mind communicated Luna.

“All right,” Ilario said.

He was holding Beatrice’s hand and took her to the garden. We saw our mother having teatime at the glasshouse. Beatrice ran to her.

“Mom! Bia is going to play with brother and angels,” said Beatrice energetically.

“All right, please take care of her.” Bellatrix said to Ilario while hugging Beatrice.

“Yes, Mother” Ilario said.

Beatrice was running around in the garden with Luna, Ava, and Vita. Ilario had an idea after saw Beatrice playing with spirits, he planned to make her body healthier from running and playing. Her magic power was high, she needed a strong body to handle her magic power well.

Ilario activated water magic in shape of small dolphins, moving like they were swimming and jumping around her body. Ava and Vita also used their magic power to make small bubbles floating near her. It’s a lovely scene. Beatrice was enjoying, she has fun by touching the dolphins and bubbles around her.

Bellatrix came toward us. She showed us the visual display of moving pictures, like camcorder, from a small white crystal ball. She had recorded both of Ilario and Beatrice when we were playing with magic.

“Wow…it was Bia and Brother,” said Beatrice excitingly.

“Mother, what is it?” Ilario asked.

“Oh…it’s a ‘Memoria’. Your father has invented it recently, he wanted to keep memory of our family in this Artificium,” said Bellatrix kindly.

“Could I have one, Mother?” Ilario asked.

“Of course. I will tell Curtis to prepare it for you,” said Bellatrix kindly.

“Could you tell me how to use it, Mother?” Ilario asked politely, he wondered how to use it.

“Of course. You have to activate some of your magic power when you record anything at the first time, it can record only 1 time and 15 minutes per 1 Memoria. When you want to see the visual display after recorded, you have to activate some of your magic power again,” said Bellatrix kindly.
