Last seen being sucked into a whirlpool with Miho’s corpse, Aya wakes up in the same demon world that she’s spent the last four years running away from.

And after a bit of advanced nanobot fiddling, Miho does too [can’t have the MC dying until at least Volume 3 – everyone else, no problem, axe can fall at any time].

Of course, when he discovers he’s both a demon and the sacrificial pawn in a 700 year old blood feud, and it’s primarily his family that wants him dead, things quickly turn sour.

Meanwhile, back in the human world, purple-mist-fiend, Atta Noe, finds herself caught up in a killing that, for once, she wasn’t responsible for; Akira and his new cynical fox buddy pursue a list of demon bounties while also being chased by Shingen ninjas; and the elusive Yuki Onna lurks near the isolated mountain castle of Lord Yukidaruma, doing pretty much whatever she feels like…which is mostly sucking out men’s souls.

Volume 2 will be a pretty even mix of the human and demon worlds, with several new characters introduced. Can’t wait for you guys to meet the depressed massage stick!
