"Examination." The voice on the buzzer says. I move to the side, out of the way, throwing my head back from the immense pain all over my body.

They've been doing this since I got here. The voice on the buzzer speaks, I have to move to the side of the wall, bunch of men come in, make sure I don't have any dangerous weapons or whatnot even though there are cameras at every single angle of this room then some doctor comes in and examines me.

One man in a mask kicks the door open, pointing his firearm at me. Three others rush in behind him, searching around the place.

The one in the mask points his gun at me, I raise my hands sarcastically, my eyebrows flying up.

I can almost hear him scoff.

Then enters the doctor.

He looks down at me, writing on his parchment.

"What is your name?"

"Mattheo Marvalo Riddle." I mumble.

I came to the realisation that it would just be foolish if I played the dumb act. The last time I did I got what they call, "punishment."

"What is my name, Mattheo Marvalo Riddle?" He asks. I have to hold back my snort.

"Fenrick Black."

"How many fingers am I holding up."

He points two fingers at me.

"Two." I mumble.

He writes on his parchment, eyeing me down before asking the last question that he most definitely doesn't even care about.

"How are you feeling?"

I take the opportunity.

I've been planning ways of escaping from here, either from pretending to be very injured and being brought to the hospital wing then from there I can kill the nurses and doctor, use one of their tools to possibly get the manacles off then get outta of here.

I've memorised every turn I made when being lead back to this cell and to the hospital wing, how long it'd take to get there. I've managed to get a glance into some of the rooms, such as a room filled with computers and people staring at them, encoding or deciphering information.

Another one I managed to get a peak at was a workout room, on the door it read special staff only.

I know this is a business, I know there's over a hundred people working here. I know it's not in a shop or a factory. I think this place is underground.

There's air ventilation in every room. One room was filled with water bottles and canned food. The lights sometimes flicker off and they bring out batteries to replace the old ones or sometimes candles if they run out.

I've only been out of this cell four times. I haven't gotten enough information about this place because they lock me in here. I managed to keep track with time though.

They come in the afternoon for examination. I know this because when all the lights turn off it means it's night. It's quite obvious. After 86400 seconds, they turn on. Which I've assumed that means it's morning because 86400 seconds is 24 hours.

7200 seconds after that, the little frame on the door opens and pushes in food: Eggs, plain bread, one vitamin pill and a small cup of orange juice. I know their poisoning the food because after finishing it I throw up or feel more exhausted then I usually do. Their trying to keep me weak. After the first day of being in here, it would make sense.

I attacked the old doctor, bit into his neck and ripped out his external jugular vein. One guard tackled me down, hit the handle part of his gun on my head, when I woke up I was tied down to a bed with multiple needles in my arms.

Maybe that's why their poisoning the food. But I have no other choice. It's either eat or starve to death. After 18000 seconds the buzzer turns on, the guards come in and the doctor examines me.

Then they either leave me alone for 7200 seconds before the frame on the door opens and they slide in brown rice, plain vegetables and a cup of water. I've also noticed they give me three different types of pills as well as water 7200 seconds before all the lights turn off. I know one of them is an antidote because my father use to give them to me.

And rarely, they come in right after the lights turn on and drag me out to their "boss."

Some days, after the examination, approximately, 7200-14400 seconds. A man comes in, brings me to their boss. She begins to question me, if I don't answer, the manacles on my wrists burn me for 600 seconds. They heal me, then do it again if I don't answer. Once they did it about 8 times because I wouldn't speak. They gave up and threw me back into my cell.

Those were the days I got some view of what the place looked like.

There's no windows or anything to reveal the outside world.

This place is definitely underground.

I shut my eyes. "I'm... I'm not feeling very good."

He hums, tilting his head to the guards. The three guards without masks leave the room. He gives me a slight nod, hiding the fear behind his cold gaze. But I can see right through him. He hands the only guard left in the room an object then leaves.

He begins to spray everything, including me. With freezing alcohol from his gun. Everything begins to become light. And I can no longer feel the shivering pain caused by the alcohol.

They use it to disinfect everything, including me.

"Night." He chuckles, the fog caused by his gun rises over my face. I hold up a hand to my mouth and nose, trying my best to not breathe in any of the fog.

But suddenly, everything goes black.

"Move," someone kicks at me.

I groan, throwing my head back. Bright lights flash on, I squint my eyes, sitting up.

"Put this on," the man throws a robe at me and new underwear.

I grab the underwear, stripping naked, then wearing it before wrapping myself up in the white robe. I stare at the symbol on it, my brows furrowed.

It read.

Number four?

"Where are we going?" I ask when he grabs me.

He doesn't answer.

The walk to wherever we're going isn't long. 600 seconds it takes to get there. We stand in front of a white door with a little blue tinted window high on it. When I turn my head around to see what's going on around me, he grabs me, dragging me into another room.

Smoke from little holes on the wall flood the room for 60 seconds before two big doors in front of us swing open.

When we enter the room, my heart stops. For the first time in weeks, I feel hope. So much hope.

Hermione's face brightens up.

I look at Ron who's half beaten up to death, he smiles at me faintly, trying his best to keep himself together. But his constant flinching and groaning reveals the pain he is truly suffering.

"I knew you would want to see them... well not for your benefit but for Y/n's. " The "boss" says with a mocking smile on her face.

I have no idea who she is or what her name is or what she's planning on doing to Y/n if she does find her, which I'll make sure she doesn't.

The man behind me seats me down next to Hermione. I glance at Ron. He stares at his feet, his eyes flinching each time someone gets up or moves folders.

"Y/n." Hermione mumbles quietly when they all begin talking and documenting.

I look at her the second that name leaves her mouth. My heart goes fast when she doesn't speak, as fast as lightning would strike a hill.

"Is she okay?" I ask quickly, my voice desperate. I watch her closely, waiting for an answer. Any answer to confirm she is okay.

"I got ahold of my wand only to find hers with the rest of ours." Hermione says, rubbing her sharp chin, her eyes travelling along the floor, almost as if she's looking for something. Maybe her words. Maybe her insanity.

Everything feels weird, I feel like I am stuck. Stuck in ice or— or jello. It kills me to not know if she's okay or not.

"The rest of ours?" I ask, clearing my raspy voice that keeps breaking.

She nods.

"Wait, why is her wand with ours— you." I breathe in, looking down. "You said she's okay, if she— if she's okay, then why is her wand with them. What if they c-caught her?" My eyes begin to water and when I try speaking again my voice is just a silent breath.

She releases her bitten bottom lip, breathing in deeply before answering my rambling questions.

"I don't know, but they wouldn't be asking us for her, she'd be here. Maybe she dropped it when the bombs set off."

My stomach goes at ease, I nod, despite the fact that she could possibly be wrong.

"Why don't they just give us vertaserum if they want to know where she is so badly?"

Hermione smirks, but she doesn't look happy or hopeful. She looks as if her entire family was killed in front of her, as if she witnessed it with her own eyes.

She looks broken.

My heart aches. Not for her, but the thought of

Y/n going through something like this makes me feel something. Everything reminds me of her. Everything. I know if Y/n saw Hermione like this she'd want to help her. And I will help Hermione. For Y/n, for me. For Hermione.

No one truly deserves torture. Despite the fact I dislike Hermione, I do not take pleasure in seeing her like this.

Before I wouldn't care. Before I'd take pleasure in this sight, but now... now it hurts.

I think spending so much time with Y/n has changed me. Made me into someone better.

"That's the thing, vertaserum is impossible to find. The only place it could possibly be at the moment is hogwarts."

Hogwarts. With Severus. With Dumbledore. And where Y/n could possibly be. I know Y/n would go there. She'd go to Dumbledore or maybe Snape or anyone who'd know what to do.

"They'd have to go to hogwarts." I say. My eyes widening. My heart stops, doesn't beat for awhile. I'm almost convinced I just died.

But when someone drops something and my heart begins racing, that's when I'm sure I'm still alive.

Still here.

"Where Y/n could be." Hermione says under her breath, peeking a look at the person to make sure their not listening.

"We can't let them." My voice breaks. People turn their heads, sharing a quick glance at us. I clear my throat, putting my head down.

"No." She breathes out, looking around. Waiting for everyone to move on.

"That's the only way she'll know where we are.

Y/n is smart and strong, she'll be able to handle herself. If she knows where we are she can get the order of the Phoenix to come and save us, then from there we could warn Y/n about these peo—" Hermione quickly shuts up, her face going pale.

The familiar sound of clicking heels echoes towards us and I can't help but acknowledge the way my stomach feels at the moment.

I look down at their feet, seeing the red heels.

It's her.

"Which one of you knows how to enter hogwarts?" She asks, her voice sharp. I look up at her, look at the folders in her hands.

Hermione looks at me, nodding once.

I bite down, breathing in sharply. My mouth peeks open but it isn't me who answers.

"I do."

Me and Hermione both look at him, shock so apparent on our faces.

Ron looks at the woman with such intense eyes that I can almost smell the risks of this. Once I looked at her the wrong way, she ordered a man to slap me across the face. Foolish indeed she is.

I never expected Ron to be so brave. Never expected anything from him, matter of fact.

"The back gate is the easiest way for access, but if you do not want to be discovered. There are multiple secret passageways that Hermione knows of." Ron says, pressing his elbows on his knees.

He stares down at his feet as he speaks, with his brows furrowed and eyes focused. He looks serious. More serious than I've ever seen him. If I didn't know him then I'd probably be a little intimidated by this act.

"List them." The man who brought me in here says.

"Under one condition—" Ron mumbles, looking up. His glossy red rimmed eyes so visibly there. He looks like a painting I've seen on Y/n's dorm wall.

"𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝐹𝒶𝓁𝓁𝑒𝓃 𝒜𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓁." It read on it. She told me it was a painting of Lucifer Morningstar. The fallen angel, she recited from her painting. Her eyes big and filled with so much compassion.

My body flinches.

Just thinking of her makes me feel as though I am in the deepest level of hell. My mind can't exactly tell if she's dead or not since I haven't seen her in weeks. So it tries to block out any memory of her to keep me mentally stable.

I can hear Hermione gulp when he opens his mouth to speak again.

"—Will she tell you the secret passages."

The man's grip goes to his gun and for a moment I can hear Hermione gasp before she says something so awfully stupid.

"We want to know why you want Y/n, then—" she breathes in quickly. "Then we'll tell you."

"I cannot possibly tell you." The man says.

"Then we cannot tell you the secret passageways." I say, my voice as sharp as a blade. No more cut offs or gentle way of speaking.

The man looks back at his boss, who's already watching us very carefully.

She nods once and that's when he looks back at us.

"Y/n Moon Slytherin is the key to every problem in the muggle world and wizarding world. She is the only living being that can access a weapon so dangerous and so powerful, which can save millions of lives. Her blood can cure many sick, can destroy many evil, and can make wizards and witches so powerful that they wouldn't even remember the last time they've ever felt pain. She is the bane of this existence, her magic is what's keeping this world and the other world stable."

We all stare at him, in pure shock.

"But the only possible way to do that... is to bleed her dry." Hermione says, her voice breaking at the end of her mumble, turning into a echoing whisper. Her eyes linger on the floor, trying it's best to hold back it's burning tears.

"We have no intention in killing her."

"You might say that now, but what happens when the blood you receive from her isn't enough, what then?" Ron asks, his voice shaky.

"Then we'll get more."

"But that'll kill her!" Hermione shouts, looking down quickly when she catches herself. Her eyes glossy and lips shivering with anger.

I shut my eyes. Breathing in deeply.

"It's not certain it will."

"Not certain?" Hermione says, Ron begins to argue with the man. And Hermione starts to cry, screaming over Ron's fast speaking. Listing all the ways that this could kill Y/n.

My eyes flash open.

"No one is taking blood from her— or anything." I say plainly.

Everyone goes quiet.

They all look at me.

"No one is even stepping an inch near her before I kill them—" I take a shaky breath in, blinking once. "—And I promise you." I say faintly.

"If you do even lay a finger on her, that will be the last time you'll ever see light."

Sexy sweet yummy🤭
