Wang Lei took off the bandage from his wound and looked at the stitches. Whoever did his stitches had done a good job. He throws away the blood-filled messy bandage and put medicine on his wound once again to avoid getting any infection. He decided to let himself free without a bandage for a night and would put it back in the morning. He closed his robe as he walked and sat down on his bed when his door burst open. He snapped his head and looked towards Huang Dewei who looked fuming in anger. His eyes were blood shot and filled with fury and rage.

'Weiwei...' Wang Lei surprised whispered took his name as he stood up from his bed while Huang Dewei stomped towards him and without a word he untie his robe.

'What are you doing?' Wang Lei quickly said as he closed his robe before he could open it. He was not sure why he was doing that but he was not in condition to show his stomach to him due to his wound.

'Show me.' Huang Dewei screamed and Wang Lei was taken back from his tone as Huang Dewei strongly pulled away his robe and looked at the fresh wound on his stomach. Wang Lei got panicked as he pushed away his hand from the robe.

'That is rude. What do you think you are doing?' Wang Lei said as he recover from his panic and surprised

'So he was right. You went to get him without taking me with you.' Huang Dewei whispered while staring at his wound.

'Who said that?' Wang Lei confused asked and then it hit him. That man's last words and his obsession with Huang Dewei

'Did he come to you? Did he hurt you?' Wang Lei asked as his tone was filled with worry and concern while Huang Dewei does not care whether Huang Dewei was hurt or not because his thoughts were stuck that Wang Lei does not trust him and second his best friend was a serial killer who blamed everything on him

'Did you go to get him without me? you don't trust me anymore, is not? You keep saying you trust me even though I don't yet you went without me. You are such a lier Wang Lei.' Huang Dewei screamed bitterly as he was glaring at him

'No, you are misunderstood. I did it for your safety.' Wang Lei said as he tried to explain his doubt but Huang Dewei did not care. All he knew was that he does not trust him that's why he did not take him. He moved as he pulled Wang Lei into his arms and he put his finger on his wound and pressed it. Wang Lei's eyes widen as he groaned in pain.

'Just say it that you don't trust me. You can just blame me too just like him that you thought I will ruin your mission so you did not take me with you. Is not that right? Blame everything on me that I am the reason you all turned away from me.' Huang Dewei screamed as he pressed his finger more and Wang Lei turned red with pain. He got hold of Huang Dewei's shoulder to balance as he was halfway down. He looked towards him who look a completely different person. His eyes were cold as ice.

'Weiwei...you are hurting...me.' Wang Lei whispered but his eyes and demeanour stayed cold as he pressed even further and Wang Lei felt his wound got opened and it started bleeding. Wang Lei felt pain spread in his body but still the way Huang Dewei's behaviour shocked him more. The fact he was causing him pain on purpose was way more painful and heartbroken than the pain coming from his wound.

'Weiwei...' Wang Lei called out to him again as he hissed in pain and suddenly Huang Dewei realised as his eyes widen and he quickky moved away his finger which was filled with blood now. Wang Lei painfully was about to fall to the ground but Huang Dewei swiftly got hold onto him as he fell in his arms.

This was the first time, Huang Dewei realised what he was doing? The first time, he realised that he caused Wang Lei agony and sufffering on purpose. He never behaved like this ever before and he was even shocked at himself. He tighten his arms around Wang Lei who was struggling in pain as he realised that the fact Wang Lei does not trust him caused this reaction from him. He was not some kind of psycho who loved causing pain to others, but he still had no idea what he was doing. He was losing his mind and he was suddenly scared of himself. He felt his love for Wang Lei was turning into obsession and he was fearful of himself. He was beyond speechless as he looked down at Wang Lei in his arms breathing heavily in pain. His head was buried in Huang Dewei's chest. He moved and got hold of his face gently and made him lookup

'I apologise...I have no idea why I was doing that...I am sorry for causing you pain...I have lost my mind...I ...I don't know...' Huang Dewei whispered in broken language because he does not know what to say. Wang Lei heavily sighed and weakly shook away his head

'It's fine. Are you alright? Did he hurt you?' Wang Lei asked in a weak tone as he felt relieved seeing the same old soft kind-hearted Huang Dewei.

'I am fine.' Huang Dewei lied hiding that Lin Han almost killed him then Huang Dewei moved, picked him up and took him towards his bed. He made him lay down and looked at his wound which was bleeding and his wound got little open but thankfully most of the stitches were still there. He cleaned off his wound while Wang Lei lay on the bed while giving him instructions. Huang Dewei had never done stitches so Wang Lei got up and started doing the stitches which had been open. Huang Dewei sat and watched him doing the whole process in pain. All pain which was caused by him...It was all because of him. There was nothing surprising about the fact that Wang Lei can do stitches himself. At battle field, in war people get wounds so every soldier of Wang Dynasty was teach how to do basic first aid including stitches. He was the Emperor then how he can not know this basic thing.

After putting stitches in, Huang Dewei moved and put medicine on his wound and made him lay down while his robe was still open. They did not close his robe. Wang Lei's eyes shut open and closed as he looked very weak and frail. Huang Dewei sat as he watched him carefully when Wang Lei spoke up.

'What did he say to you?' Wang Lei asked as he was laying on the bed.

'Nothing.' Huang Dewei lied again

'Did he ask you to come to him?' Wang Lei asked and Huang Dewei surprised looked at him as he slowly nodded his head answering him with a yes

'And he also said I am the reason he killed all those poor children.' Huang Dewei confessed as he break down and tears started rolling down from his eyes without him realising.

'Is that the real reason you were this angry? Did he blame his wrongdoing on you?' Wang Lei whispered asked weakly as Wang Lei moved his hand and cleaned off his tears. Huang Dewei kept crying.

'Yes, but I am also angry because you did not trust me either.' Huang Dewei softly devastated confessed.

'I told you it's not about trust. I just want to protect you and let me tell you what he did has nothing to do with you. Stop thinking you are the reason for his killing. He did it himself.' Wang Lei softly told him as tried to clear doubts from his head and Huang Dewei nodded his head.

'And don't ever act like this again Weiwei...you were scary.' Wang Lei said as he softly confessed and Huang Dewei ashamed nodded his head

'I apologised your highness...I probably lost my mind. You can give me whatever punishment you want to.' Huang Dewei said in a tone filled with guilt and shame.

'How about you start touching me again as a punishment since you keep avoiding it and hate being near me now.' Wang Lei replied as he weakly smiled indicating he was joking about it and Huang Dewei stares at him seriously

'After today's incident, I think I should be even farther away from you. ' Huang Dewei replied and Wang Lei's smile dropped

'I hope you won't think anything even more stupid now...don't worry about that man. I will get him.' Wang Lei said and Huang Dewei just nodded his head as Wang Lei's eyes shut and open. He was about to fall into sleep when Huang Dewei got up and Wang Lei quickly got hold of his hand and stopped him.

'Don't go..stay here with me.' Wang Lei whispered asked and Huang Dewei turned over towards him and then took out his hand

'No, I will be going back. You should have rest.' Huang Dewei said as he rejected him and walked off and Wang Lei was heartbroken as he called after him

'Weiwei...' Wang Lei whispered as he saw him walking away but he did not have enough energy to get up and run after him as he fell into a deep sleep. Huang Dewei was about to open the door to walk out, but he stopped and then turned back towards Wang Lei. He walked back and looked at him who was sleeping. He looked at him for few seconds longingly.

Huang Dewei sat down as he softly touched his face and moved away his hair then he bend down and started kissing him all over his face. He kissed him depressant like he was deprived of his touch. Wang Lei slightly moved in his sleep when Huang Dewei moved and got hold of his hand between his hand to stop him from moving. Wang Lei stopped moving as Huang Dewei looked at him and then kissed him on his lips.

After giving a lovingly kiss on his warm lips, Huang Dewei slowly moved back away. He looked at Wang Lei again as he was unable to look away and then he slightly moved away, stares at his wound and softly touched it. He bend down and softly kissed his wound as he heard him hissing in pain. Huang Dewei quickly moved away because he does not want to cause him any more pain and torment . He looked back towards him who had relaxed down and Huang Dewei also felt relieved. Huang Dewei stood still looking at peacefully sleeping Wang Lei deep in thoughts and then he reached at his decision. Huang Dewei moved and get inside the bed and without a word, he pulled Wang Lei's sleeping figure in his arms and sighed.

'Let me stay here holding you like this for just a few hours...just a few hours and then I will go before you will even be awake.' Huang Dewei whispered as he looked at him as Wang Lei put his hand over his wrist unconsciously. Huang Dewei did not tighten his grip around his naked wrist due to his wound since his robe was still open after applying for the medicine. Huang Dewei was being cautions as he looked toward him.

'I am really petrified of myself Wang Lei. What should I do?... I am scared of what I will do if you actually get over me and does want me anymore. I took a promise from you thinking that if you won't want me I will move on. But now I felt like if you ever decide to leave me, I might...I might kill you. I am going insane because living without you is not possible for me anymore...I am scared of the person I am becoming Wang Lei... Shall I just go to Lin Han? If I might leave now, my love for you won't turn into insanity.' Huang Dewei confessed as he stares at his restful sleeping face. Huang Dewei's brain was filled with uneasy and messed up thinking. He was thinking that he might even do something extreme like killing which he probably never would but he was not very sure of himself anymore.

This small incident where he caused pain to Wang Lei on purpose out of anger was putting doubts and fears inside Huang Dewei about things which he never going to do. Deep down he does believe that he can never hurt Wang Lei, but he does not trust himself anymore. He was actually terrified of himself, but he was sure of one thing definitely that he was extremely possessive about Wang Lei. When and how this happened he had no idea because even with Xin Ying he never was a possessive type of lover...he was a very calm and easy going lover then why his feeling was too extreme for Wang Lei compared to any other person he liked or fell in love with before meeting him. Even though he does not trust Wang Lei himself, but the fact he does not trust him turned him into an aggressive animal and this behaviour was definitely dangerous for Wang Lei. He does not even know how he dares to take his anger out on the Emperor of the Wang dynasty. He was an Emperor while he was just a poor slave turned concubine. Even more surprising that Wang Lei as a Emperor let him take his anger and frustration out on him in such a aggressive way.

'I will sort out everything...All this happen because of me so I will make all this right, I promise you this.' Huang Dewei said determined as he thought about what will be his next step and he had some plans that Wang Lei most likely would not accept nor he will like them.
