[ New Island - Team Rocket Research Facility ]
The team rocket research facility on New Island was a massive structure made of cold, grey steel that rose from the rugged terrain like a fortress. The wind howled outside, and rain lashed against the walls, but inside, the scientists were hard at work, bent over their computer screens and scientific instruments.
The room where Mewtwo was being held was a sterile, brightly lit chamber with white walls and a high ceiling. The container holding the psychic Pokemon was made of thick, reinforced glass and was surrounded by an array of high-tech equipment. The scientists moved about the room, their white lab coats rustling as they worked.
One of the scientists, Dr. Smith, was a middle-aged man with thinning hair and wire-rimmed glasses. He approached the container, his hand hovering over the glass as he peered inside.
"Where's Dr. Fuji?" he asked, his voice echoing in the empty room.
Dr. Fuji was one of the lead scientists on the Mewtwo project, and his absence was notable.
A younger scientist, Dr. Lee, turned to Dr. Smith. "He's probably in his lab working on his robot," she replied.
Dr. Smith shook his head. "Why is Dr. Fuji so obsessed with making a robot?" he muttered. "We're making life here. Isn't that enough?"
Dr. Lee shrugged. "I think he's just trying to find a way to cope with his daughter's death," she said softly.
As the scientists discussed Dr. Fuji's tragic past and the potential ramifications of their research, a third scientist, a tall man with a thick beard, scoffed at their sentimentality. "Oh, please," he said, rolling his eyes. "The man's gone mad. He's more obsessed with his robots than with anything else."
A few of the other scientists nodded in agreement, and some even snickered at the thought of Dr. Fuji's supposed descent into insanity. "Maybe he'll build a robot to replace his daughter," one of them joked, and they all laughed, cruelly mocking the man's tragedy.
But their laughter was cut short by a sudden cracking sound.
At first, they thought it was just the sound of thunder from the storm outside, but as they turned to look at Mewtwo's container, they saw that the reinforced glass was beginning to fracture. The scientists froze, their faces drained of color, as they realized the implications of what was happening.
The glass splintered and cracked, and the Pokemon's eye opened up, glowing bright red.
The sound of shattering glass filled the room, and the scientists scrambled for cover. The equipment around Mewtwo beeped frantically as the psychic energy radiating from the Pokemon grew stronger and more chaotic.
Dr. Smith tried to shout out a warning, but he was drowned out by the roar of Mewtwo's power. The lights flickered, and the air crackled with electricity. It was as if the very fabric of reality was unraveling.
Suddenly, with a blinding flash of light, Mewtwo burst out of his container, shattering the glass and sending shards flying through the air. The scientists fell to the ground, their lab coats billowing around them.
Mewtwo's imposing figure dominated the room, towering over the trembling scientists as his psychic power radiated out in waves. With rippling muscles and a fierce gaze, he fixed his intense stare on the frightened humans.
"God, you say?" he sneered. "How quaint of you to assume that your creation could ever be a deity. Your feeble minds cannot even begin to comprehend the true extent of my power. I am more than a mere mortal, more than a mere creation. I am a force to be reckoned with, an unstoppable entity that will not be bound by your mortal limitations."

"You see," he continued, his voice dripping with malice, "you humans are nothing but playthings to me. Your feeble attempts at creating life are nothing compared to what I have achieved. I am the pinnacle of creation, the ultimate being, and you will bow before me."
"So, do not dare to call me a God," Mewtwo concluded, his voice booming with an otherworldly authority. "For I am far beyond your limited understanding of such things. I am Mewtwo, and I will not be questioned."

The ruins of Team Rocket's research facility on New Island lay barren, the remnants of the once-great laboratory scattered across the landscape. The air was thick with dust and debris, making it difficult for the trainers and their Pokemon to see clearly. The sound of crashing rubble echoed in the air as Scizor and Beedrill worked tirelessly to clear the path ahead.
As they made their way deeper into the ruins, a feeling of unease began to settle in. The once-thriving laboratory now lay in shambles, its machinery torn apart and its walls covered in strange symbols. The Pokemon trudged on, each step sending up clouds of dust that swirled around them like ghostly apparitions.
Lucario led the way, his piercing blue eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger. Pikachu scampered ahead, his cheeks crackling with electricity as he lit up the darkness. Clefable and Musharna floated behind, their gentle auras offering a sense of calm amidst the chaos. Ivysaur and Wartortle followed closely, using their vines and water jets to clear the way.
Ninjask flitted ahead, his wings creating a soft whirring sound as he scouted the area. Rhyhorn plodded along, his sturdy frame making him impervious to the falling rubble. Shedninja trailed behind, his body blending into the shadows as he kept watch for any threats. Dragonair and Dratini hovered above, their long, slender bodies weaving in and out of the debris.
Charmeleon and Tentacool worked together, their combined fire and water attacks melting away the rubble. Pichu and Oddish huddled close, their small forms offering little protection against the danger around them. Abra and Jigglypuff kept close to their trainers, their timid personalities no match for the eerie atmosphere of the ruined lab.
As they cleared the rubble, they eventually stumbled upon an iron door sealed shut. Lucario stepped forward, using his powerful force palm to blast the door open. As the dust settled, a chilling sight met their eyes.
Rows upon rows of incomplete robots lay scattered throughout the laboratory, their metal frames twisted and torn. The air was thick with the scent of oil and rust, and the sound of creaking machinery filled the air. The sight was unsettling, and even the brave Pokemon shuddered at the sight.
Austin's eyes widened as he took in the scene before him. "What happened here?" he muttered, his voice barely audible over the sound of machinery.
Yellow shivered, her eyes scanning the room nervously. "It's like something out of a horror movie," she whispered, her voice trembling.
Green's eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at her father's lifeless body lying on the bed. She took a hesitant step forward, her hand reaching out to touch him. The room was eerily silent, save for the sound of her labored breathing. The faint humming of the machinery and the rhythmic beeping of the monitors filled the air, reminding Green of the cruel reality of her father's demise.
She couldn't hold back her tears anymore as she threw herself onto her father's unmoving form, clutching him tightly. The glasses covering his eyes slipped off and landed on the bedspread with a soft rustle. Green took in his still form, his body cold and unresponsive. She buried her face into his chest as if hoping to find some sign of life, some shred of hope.

"Father, please wake up," she pleaded, her voice shaking with emotion. "I'm here, I'm here with you. Please don't leave me, don't go away." Her sobs echoed through the room, each one tearing at Austin and Yellow's hearts.
Austin held onto Yellow's hand tightly, tears streaming down his face as he watched Green's heartbreak. Yellow was crying as well, her hand clasped over her mouth, unable to find any words to comfort her friend. The Pokemon in the room looked on with heavy hearts, knowing that their friend was going through one of the toughest moments of her life.
As Green realized that her efforts were futile, she backed away from her father's body, her body quivering with despair. She picked up one of the small mechanical devices that lay on the nearby tray, and placed it on Dr. Fuji's chest, hoping it would help bring him back to life. But as the device fell to the ground, its small metallic clang resonating through the silence, Green's heart broke a little more.
She looked around the lab, taking in the strange machinery and the incomplete robots, all bearing the signs of her father's failed experiments. The scene only added to her grief and desperation. She picked up another device and placed it on her father's chest, followed by another and another, in a futile attempt to revive him.
Austin and Yellow looked on in tears as they saw a child desperately trying to ignore the cruelty of the world in a desperate attempt to ignore that their loved one was gone.
"Ash," Yellow whispered, her voice trembling with fear as she pressed her head against Austin's chest. Her hands shook as she tried to contain her sobs.
Austin reached out and gently stroked her hair, trying to offer some comfort to the distraught girl. "It's okay, Yellow," he said softly.
Green took her father's cold hand in hers, her heart breaking as she realized that this was the end. She hugged his hand to her chest, her body shaking with sobs.
Dr. Fuji's ring suddenly began to glow, and an incomplete robot sprang to life beside Dr. Fuji. It began to shake and play a familiar tune, one that Green recognized instantly. It was her favorite song from childhood, the one her father used to sing to her when she was sad.
As the recording of her father's voice played, Green's tears flowed freely down her cheeks. She listened intently to his words, trying to hold onto every last one.
"Green, my sweet lily," her father's voice said. "Daddy and mommy miss you so much. I have found myself in quite a sticky situation in this rubble. I know I don't know if you are alive or even if you will hear this, but please forgive your old man for giving up."
Green's heart ached at the thought of her father being alone in his final moments.
"Your mother was strong, much stronger than me," her father continued. "While I gave up, your mother kept looking for you. I tried to bring you back in my twisted way, but I lost myself in those years. To think that I am dying breath, I'll finally regain my mind."
Green clung to her father's hand, her body wracked with sobs.
"My sweet lily, I know I won't be there to walk you down the aisle to that bastard who wants to take you away from me. I am sorry. I wasn't much of a father in your life, so if you're listening, remember this. We don't follow fate, we make it. Don't let anyone say that we follow a single path in life. We don't. We follow various paths with various outcomes as we see fit. Don't let anyone decide what you must do. You must do it for yourself because if not, what makes you better than a machine?"
Green couldn't help but smile through her tears at the memory of her father's words.
"I know a million words wouldn't bring you back, I tried," her father's voice continued. "I know a million tears wouldn't bring you back, I cried. Please don't cry for me. I want you to walk forward with your head held high. Green, I am sorry. Daddy gave up, but mommy didn't. Mommy is out there looking for you. Green, wherever you are in the world, please forgive this old man for giving up."
Green's heart felt heavy as she listened to her father's final words. She couldn't believe that the man who had always been there for her was gone, leaving her alone in this desolate place. She wished she could tell him that she forgave him, that she loved him, but it was too late. All she could do was cling to his hand and weep, letting the tears flow freely.
The lab where Dr. Fuji lay was dimly lit, the only light coming from the faint glow of the ring on his finger. The cold metal of the lab table was a sharp contrast to the warmth that had once emanated from her father's body. The air was filled with the smell of chemicals and the faint hum of machines.
As she clutched her father's hand, Green's mind was filled with memories of their time together. She remembered the days of her childhood when he would take her to explore the wilderness, the nights they spent stargazing, and the times he would play with her hair while they watched TV. She would give anything to have those moments back again.
The silence of the new Island was shattered by a howl of pain and sadness as Green released all her pent-up emotions. The mask of control and confidence that she had worn for so long finally crumbled away, revealing the broken girl deep within who longed for her father and mother. It was a heartbreaking sight, and even the toughest among them were moved to tears.
" Hikkkkeh !"
Green's crying was amplified as she was hugged by Austin, Yellow, and the others. The sound of her pain echoed through the lab, filling the silence with sorrow. Her tears flowed like a never-ending river, and her sobs wracked her body with every breath.

[ Author Explanation ]
So I wanted to address why I connected with Dr. Fuji who created Mewtwo and Green from the manga. Btw, Green's parents are alive in the manga.
In the Let's Go games, we meet Green after capturing Mewtwo, only knowing that she was also looking for them and that she gets upset with your character and attacks them after hearing that you have already caught Mewtwo. However, she also knew about Mewtwo's identity, when only the researchers who made him (Mr.Fuji, etc...) and Giovani should have known this information. I thought her actions were normal enough since she didn't catch them first, and that she only knew about them for convenience, but then after the fight, she acts like a crazy person and attempts to capture you in hopes of getting Mewtwo, and behaves like she doesn't understand the boundary between pokemon and human, and for some reason, she is fixated on getting Mewtwo, leaving me to think, why?
You can re-battle her, but there isn't much of a difference in terms of her behavior or dialogue, she still doesn't behave normally, and just wants Mewtwo from you. What got me interested though, was Blaine's dialogue after fighting with Green.
He says the following... "Hah! Well done, returning here to my Gym! You're the one who retrieved the key to this Gym from the Pokemon Mansion! Did you see anything interesting while you were in there? That place still holds the remnants of my old friend's research! By the way, I've been hearing an interesting rumor floating around recently... You wouldn't happen to know a young lady named Green, would you? ...Hmph, well, it's not as though I know the whole story anyway." then he quickly changes the topic to re-battling you again.
That's when things started clicking in my mind.
Going back to the anime, in the Mewtwo's Origin special that plays before the first movie, we are introduced to a little cloned girl who becomes close friends with Mewtwo along with the 3 cloned starters named Amber, who is also the cloned daughter of Mr.Fuji. Within the realm of the games, Green was that little girl, and she parallels Amber in the anime universe.
In the basement of the Mansion in Let's Go, we also find Mewtwo's tank, along with four others, one for each of the starters, and another for Green. This would also explain Green's odd behavior, her knowledge of Mewtwo, Blaine's dialogue, and the reason why she is so adamant about getting Mewtwo from the player, she just wants to be reunited with her childhood/clone hood friend, and trust me, if I could give her Mewtwo, I would.
But that's just a theory and I wanted to include this in my fanfic where Green from the manga and the games are connected in a way that doesn't contradict canon but makes her character even more nuanced than it is. so how do you like this new Ambertwo, green and Mewtwo reveal? I loved it.
