, leader of the girl group , has recently been accused of being a bully during her high school years. A post was made on Pann, accusing the Greek-Korean idol of viciously bullying them during their high school years. Two hours after this post was made another post on Twitter surfaced, stating that had bullied the poster and her friends since she moved to Korea.
The post wrote about the details of the bullying, listing several instances where the victim was allegedly physically, emotionally and verbally abused.
❝︎From grade nine to graduation I and my friends were brutally abused by the idol . She and her goons, on many occasions, would hit me, take my money and call me names that are too offensive to write here. Normally I would not speak up, however, seeing her face on my TV reminds me of those dark times in my school years. Please, think before you support her and her group.❞︎

After being accused of being a high school bully over Twitter, , leader of girl group Checkmate, released her own statement regarding the issue on her personal Instagram account before her company with the following statement:

❝︎At first, I was shocked after coming onto my phone after practice and finding that my inbox is filled with death threats and abuse, that the hashtag #cancelenyocm is circulating across social media. But after thinking about it, I'm not suprised. Idols constantly face abuse after a single accusation without any concrete evidence is posted. I'll only say it once: I was not a bully during my high school years. I did not do such things that I have been accused of and I would never do such things.
What I did do during my high school years was not pretty, however. I didn't grow up in the most loving household and my youth was misspent. I'm not proud of my younger self, but I am innocent of what I have been accused of.

So far, the user who made the post accusing the idol of being a bully has deleted the accusation post along with their account. This action had caused confusion among the netizens though some speculate that they account owner had most likely deleted their account as they did not want any trouble with the authorities.
