《Nostalgic Gamer in a Cultivation World》Chapter 224: The Battle in the Mines (3)

A few minutes before Dyne attacked the mines…
Arya and her trusted Chocobo were rushing to the sides of the mine. It would usually take half a day to circle the mine and reach the entrance from the seaside. But with the Chocobo's ability to easily move and climb the steep sides of the mountain, Arya was able to get to the other side with haste.
“So there is only one entrance from this side. I wonder if Noa found another…” Arya saw the entrance.
“KWEH!”
The cry of a Chocobo was heard, and Noa ridding her Chocobo, appeared on the side.
Noa was as happy and bubbly as ever as she waved happily to Arya.
“Big sister! You found an entrance! You sure are fast!” Noa laughed.
“So you didn’t find an entrance? This is the only other entrance, and there are normal ways to walk here.” Arya guessed.
“I could find any, Big Sister.”
“Well, this is the only entrance, so it would surprise the enemy if we attack here. I don’t think they expect us to have chocobos.”
“Right! With these birds, we can move all over Legaia!” Noa cheered.
“Arya! This is a great time to use that!” Earth Arya plotted.
“What?”
“Naruto Rendan! Or should I say, Arya Rendan! It’s a multi-stage attack that vaults the enemy in the air and allows us to deliver a powerful ax kick on the enemy's head! With our strength, it should be possible! We have two chocobos and Noa to help us lift the enemy!” Arya explained.
“Alright. I’ll let you talk to Noa.”
“Noa! Listen up!” Earth Arya began to speak to Noa.
And so, the plan was made and was perfectly executed.
As they approached, Terra called out to Dyne and told him of their plan, and Dyne immediately created a portal.
The rewarding portal allowed the team to move. When the two chocobos moved into the portal, Arya and Noa followed. Arya arrived first but immediately dismounted her Chocobo as the Chocobo rushed in and tacked Songi by the feet. The second Chocobo was Noa, who used its head to throw Songi upwards.
And leaping from the Chocobo, Noa delivered her trademark Lizard Tail.
The attack lifted Songi high and forced him to wear the entire armor.

Arya jumped up, channeled all her might as a Martial Formation expert, and delivered the ax kick as it was in the anime.
BANG!
The attack was so strong it sounded like a gunshot, throwing Songi and planting his head on the ground.
“Oh crap! Did we kill him?!” Earth Arya exclaimed.
“No! Somethings wrong! Noa! Get back! That armor!” Arya answered.
The buried head of Songi surfaced, and it revealed that he was wearing the helmet that Vile wore.
“My attack didn’t work? What armor is that?” Arya frowned as she moved to the back.
A purple helmet with a T-shaped opening at the face of the helmet covered Songi's face. The attack of Arya didn't even leave a dent.
“How dare you ambush me!” Songi rose, and a dark ball began to gather at the tip of the Mini-Gun.
“Dark Cannon!”
BLAST!
A dark beam shot toward Arya and Noa.
The Chocobos ran, and Noa and Arya rode it as they evaded the incoming beam.
BOOM!
Songi charged for another attack, but a gunshot rang out, forcing Songi to shoot immediately.
The two attacks struck each other, and an explosion of dark energy on one side and fire on the other occurred at the center.
Songi then called at the two Guard Scorpions and opened a portal for the two Guard Scorpions to escape too.
The two Guard Scorpions appeared next to Songi and began to shoot toward the area where Dyne and the two girls retreated.
Vile sent another round of attack.
“Dark Shield!” Dyne ordered, and Jedo complied.
A dark force field appeared as Noa, Arya, and their chocobos retreated.
BOOM!
The combined attacks of Vile and the Guard Scorpions could not break through the shield.
“A Seru Armor, huh? Amazing what that armor can do. To think it could defend against the attack of a Martial Formation expert.” Dyne admired Songi’s complete Vile Armor as he reloaded his Wild Arm.
“That gives me great inspiration! With all the Serus here, I could craft them to make the armors of X! Four Armor as the base. Add a Barra’s wings, and I could make a Falcon Armor! Yes! Yes! This will be awesome!” Dyne was looking at Vile with a strange greedy expression, and he kept on licking his lips.

Vile was enraged at Dyne’s words. In Dyne’s eyes, Vile was nothing more than a piece of meat to be devoured.
“What arrogance!” Vile cursed.
Serge arrived near the front along with the Zenoir.
Dyne gave his Zenoir one look and sighed.
“Your too damaged, bud. Get back in here.” Dyne created a portal, and the Zenoir quickly moved in.
“Is… this alright, Master Dyne?” Serge was amazed.
“Yeah. Sure. You can handle one of Guard Scorpions, right?”
“No- I...”
“Noa. Help Serge.”
“Erm… That big monster looks too strong, Big brother…” Noa frowned.
“Think of this as a test, Noa. We have to fight them. Gyoro, Ururun, Grim, be sure to help out!”
“Yes, Big Brother.” Grim answered.
The twin-headed serpent that was on Serge’s back gave a low growl.
“What?! The Seru can talk?! And what is that… serpent?!” Vile trembled. As he took a closer look at the serpent, fear appeared in his heart.
“An offspring of a Monster King! Impossible! Why is it serving that boy?!” Vile raged.
“Hmm? Oh! I get it! Let me guess! Sigma can’t tame a monster king, right? Feeling a bit jelly, Vile?” Dyne laughed.
“You can laugh now, but I’ll be taking that Wild Arm and your Ra-Seru!” Vile vowed.
“Let’s use the Ride armor! Let’s not take any chances!”
“I know!”
A portal opened behind Songi, and a large dark purple robot appeared on the portal behind. It stood nearly meters tall and had a platform at the top. The upper torso was made from the body parts of the Seru Gilium, and it had a strange rock-like lower body. But the Serus used were clearly altered, and only parts were used. It still looked like the Ride armor that Vile used in Megaman X.
“See, Noa? We don’t have a choice. You guys have to fight. Arya will deal with the last Guard Scorpion, and I will take care of Songi and Vile here.”
“Ha! Don’t make me laugh! You can’t even undo your little shield, as my Guard Scorpions will destroy you! Your army has been destroyed! And my Ride Armor will destroy your puny shield!” Vile laughed, and bright lightning course around the large Ride Armor.
“Well, I mean. So was your army. And all I had was an army of bones and ghosts. You had serus. It must be embarrassing to lose against me like that. By the way, can you control the undead, Vile?”
“… I’ll kill you!” Vile roared as Songi began to control the Ride Armor to charge forward and deliver a powerful punch.
BANG!
The entire shield trembled, and cracks appeared on the side. The Guard Scorpions began to shoot lightning attacks through its arms, and the scorpion tail shot out more firebolts.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The force field began to crack, and it was close to breaking. But before Songi could rejoice, he could see a bright light shining from the back.
It was a Viguro! But this Viguro carried tremendous energy. Such energy was not possible for Dyne to summon! Viguros would cost 64 points, and Dyne only had 30 points! Summoning a Zenoir required 32 mana, but because of Dyne’s mastery in Fire, he managed to bring down the cost to 26 points!
“What?!” Songi shouted in horror. He knew the full power of a Ra-Seru-fueled attack would make.
Songi had very little magic and thought that only the monster Vahn would even have the power to summon a Viguro.
“Oh yeah! I absorbed that one when Arya planted your face on the ground.” Dyne laughed.
“Guard Scorpions! Protect us!” Vile ordered, and the two Guard Scorpions rushed in front of Songi.
“How can you summon that?!” Songi roared.
“He’s using a Theeder to power it up!” Vile could see another Seru at the bottom.
Massive energy began to gather around the Viguro, and it was concentrated in the area under the Viguro. The Theeder kept shooting thunderbolts at the core of the concentrated energy at the back.
“Impossible! A Theeder can’t replicate a Viguros attack!”
“He has something else! It's that Egg! He has another Ra-Seru Egg born of lightning element! It’s impossible, but that egg can release magic as if it has its mana!” Vile cursed.
“Oh, this little thing? Yeah. I am borrowing the energy from this egg here. It’s not a Ra-Seru, though. It’s a Digi-Egg!”
The Viguro completed its charge and shot the ball of lightning energy down to Songi.
BOOM!

"Montana, come here." He nodded his head toward the door, leaving out of the room. Staying silent as Ms. Carol looked at me, I kissed the back of Josiah's hand before leaving out of the room. As I walked out, Messiah stood there looking at me in disgust while I closed the door. "What are you doing that shit for?" "Huh?" I said since I had nothing else to say, just trying to stall time to get my words together."Why are you stripping, Monty?"Sighing, I decided that I wasn't going to lie like I'd originally planned to do after listening to Chocolate's stupid advice. "Money." I spoke simply and he scoffed as I looked down."Why not just ask Josiah for money instead doing hoe shit?" "First of all, It's not doing hoe shit. I don't have sex with anyone. I just dance. And I don't want to ask him for any money. It's not his job to take care of me.""So stripping..." He trailed off with a laugh."..stripping was the last resort? Instead of putting your pride aside?" Saying nothing, I just looked at him with pleading eyes."Please don't tell him, Messiah." I could already tell by the look on his face that he was going to tell him."I ain't gon' tell him.." Thank God. I thought. "..you are." "What?!" I shrieked. "No. I'm not.""You are." He spoke in a demanding tone."Please. You know how he is." I expressed"And you know how he is too but you made that bed." "Messiah, he's going to kill me." I begged."I know." He shook his head, walking away from me."Better figure it out. You got until the end of the day to tell him or I will." He mumbled before walking back into the room.
