《And So It Starts》Rachelle

Poor Emery. I know his resolve is fading. He’s starting to forget why he called me here, the original reason we went up the stairs. To be honest, I’m only having a little fun with him. I won’t hurt him. Not yet. I’m not even sure I can hurt him. I’ve been holding him for a while but I don’t get that strange sensation that I had with Rachel. His power must be strong enough to protect him from my poisons.

I look down at the blonde in my arms. A writhing little thing. Face flushed. Filthy moans spilling from his soft lips. What a cutie. I wanna gobble him up but not right now. We have work to do. I sigh as I step back, leaving him panting.

“Gotta snap out of it, Ems. We got shit to do,” I smile softly at him. Emery does what I assume he thinks is a seductive smirk,

“Yeah, I wanna do you you hot-

-that’s enough hun. I’m serious,” I cut him off before he can embarrass himself further.

Emery deflates a bit and looks away, abashed. I ignore his shy look and sit near the foot of the bed. How the fuck do I even start?

“You remember what you told me all those years ago? That I’m special? Like you.”

“Of course I remember. Seeing you again now, I was right. You’re perfect,” Emery was doing that analyzing stare again.

“I came to you because I felt like it was time. No one said anything to me but I felt it,” I can feel my energy, my it coming to the surface. There’s a tingling in my hands and neck. I look down to see my fingers slowly turning black. It looks like ink staining its way to the center of my palms. I glance at Emery to find him already staring back, brows furrowed. He walks over to me and grabs my left hand in both of his. As soon as we make contact, he flinches.

“What are you doing? Why is your skin turning black like thi-” Emery chokes, his neck turning a bloody burgundy color. His eyes roll back and the whites disappear. Slowly, Emery begins rising into the air levitating a few feet above the ground. I watch as his legs hang limp and his back arches slightly. He opens his mouth but the voice that comes out is not his. It doesn’t sound like Emery, it doesn’t really sound like anything. There were words but the sound felt like waves going through me. It was the same feeling I had that brought me to Emery today.
