The moment the androgynous figure disappeared, time once again began passing around Xu Yue, causing her to suddenly spit out a mouthful of blood.

"Who was it that saved me?" mumbled Xu Yue, not having seen even a trace of the androgynous figure.

From her point of view, just as the white line was about to land on her, it immediately disappeared.

But sadly, Xu Yue did not have much time to think about this, as she suddenly became drowsy before helplessly falling to the floor because of her injuries.

A few more moments passed in utter silence as Xu Yue's breathing got weaker and weaker, when suddenly, Xu Lanfeng appeared next to her.

"This is really troublesome," mumbled Xu Lanfeng, temporarily stopping time for Xu Yue's body and soul, so as to not let her condition get any worse.

And after a few moments, Xu Lanfeng took a look at Xu Yue before taking out a little fox from her robe.

After looking at Hulli Jing for a moment and seeing that her injuries were not as serious as Xu Yue's, Xu Lanfeng, Xu Yue, and Hulli Jing all suddenly disappeared.

"Let's go, we need to go back fast," said Xu Lanfeng as she looked at Yue, who was worriedly sitting crosslegged.

"Understood," said Yue before hurriedly getting up and walking behind Xu Lanfeng's incarnation.

"Where am I?" this was the first thought that entered Hulli Jing's mind as she slowly regained consciousness.

At that moment, Hulli Jing felt extremely comfortable, as she was surrounded by a warm liquid that caused her body to feel warm.

Suddenly, Hulli Jing opened her eyes before jumping out of the liquid.

But sadly for her, as soon as Hulli Jing exited the liquid, her body suddenly became much weaker, causing her to not even be able to maintain a basic balance in the air and fall flat on her face.

"It seems I don't have to worry much, you are much healthier than expected," said a female voice from behind Hulli Jing, causing the latter to try and use her spiritual sense to see who was talking to her.

As Hulli Jing tried to use her spiritual sense to sense the other party, and at the same time, tried to get her body up, she suddenly felt a large pain in her forehead, causing her to loose her balance and once again fall flat on her face, causing her to temporarily abandon the prospect of using her spiritual sense.

After a few moments, Hulli Jing tried to get back up again, when a pair of warm hands suddenly picked her up.

Feeling the familiarity of these hands, Hulli Jing couldn't help but unconsciously relax, but at the same time, a question popped up in her mind.

"Is she fine?" asked Hulli Jing as her ears, which were raised up until now, fell as he vigilance decreased and she slowly became more and sleepy.

"You don't have to worry," said Wu Jing as she looked at the little fox sitting in her embrace with a smile on her face, causing the latter to slowly but surely fall asleep.

Suddenly, Xu Chao appeared beside Wu Jing and began staring at the sleeping little fox.

"So how is she?" asked Xu Chao as he looked at the sleeping fox with some distrust on his face.

"Don't worry," said Wu Jing, silencing all of Xu Chao's questions regarding Hulli Jing, causing the latter to take another look at the little fox before walking out of the room.

After a while, Wu Jing took her eyes of Hulli Jing's physical body and began looking at the thick, and vividly red string that was tied to her leg, even someone without much understanding of karma like her.

Who could only see it because of great cultivation base, could see how unbreakable this string was, after a while, Wu Jing followed the string to it's path before looking at Xu Yue and seeing the same string being tied to her leg, causing thoughts to gather in Wu Jing's mind.

Several minutes later, Wu Jing put the little fox back down into the pond of healing liquid before walking out of the room herself.

A few hours later,

"That was really fast," mumbled Yue as she suddenly regained her senses, after only a brief moment, Yue looked at Xu Yue, who was floating in the air as time seemed to freeze around her.

Suddenly, Xu Lanfeng's true body appeared beside Yue.

"I'm going to need your help for this," said Xu Lanfeng as she took out several pill bottles from her robe, causing Yue to be extremely surprised.

"Those are immortal pills?" asked Yue, feeling the extremely weird but powerful aura coming from the pill bottles in Xu Lanfeng's hands.

"No, rather thankfully, Xu Yue did not get touched by that attack, as such, her existence was not damaged, she doesn't need Immortal Rank pills right now," said Xu Lanfeng before beginning to explain what Yue needed to do.

"I need to feed Xu Yue these pills, but since time around her is stopped, I can't do that, but is let time flow on it's own, she will die before being able to ingest the pills, but thanks to you, we don't need to waste an Immortal pill," said Xu Lanfeng, causing Yue's eyes to widden at the words 'die' and 'Immortal pill'.

"So using immortal pills, you can revive someone from the dead," thought Yue as she listened to Xu Lanfeng's explanation.

"You need to once again fuse with Xu Yue, this will help stabilize her condition for a few moment's allowing these pills to take effect," said Xu Lanfeng as several pills flew out of the pill bottles in her hands.

"I understand," said Yue as she looked at her other self with a determined look.

"Good, then I'm going to let time continue," said Xu Lanfeng as she began counting down from five.

Suddenly, time continued flowing around Xu Yue, as soon as that happened, Yue disappeared, and at the same time, Xu Lanfeng stuffed three pills into Xu Yue's mouth.
