As she walked back to her cave abode, Xu Yue couldn't help but want to go to the Dao Heart Pagoda, but still, she knew that going to that place would take a long period of time. As such, she had to take care of everything else before that.

As she entered her cave abode, Xu Yue could see Ming Yun kneeling on the ground, waiting for her.

"Master," greeted Ming Yun with a smile on her face.

A few moments after that, Ming Yun took out a token and gave it to Xu Yue.

"You don't have to be so formal," said Xu Yue, but even so, when she heard Ming Yun call her master, a feeling of satisfaction entered her.

As she said that, she took a look at the token and sent her spiritual sense into it.

When her spiritual sense entered the token, she could see a small piece of Ming Yun's soul in it. Using that piece of soul and with the help of the token, she could fully control Ming Yun, making sure she would never betray her.

To some, it might seem excessive, but this was the only way that the maid could be fully trusted by their master. As such, this was a common way of doing things.

After making sure to imbed her spiritual sense into the token, Xu Yue looked at Ming Yun with a satisfied smile.

"You didn't fail me," said Xu Yue as she looked at Ming Yun as she patted her on the shoulder.

After saying this, Xu Yue started walking towards the room, silently being followed by Ming Yun.

Ming Yun stood outside of Xu Yue's room, a happy smile appeared on her face.

Even though she had given up her freedom, this was a sacrifice she was willing to make if she could be close to her senior sister.

"Come in," said Xu Yue from the inside of her room.

"Yes, master," said Ming before silently walking in.

"Call me senior sister instead," said Xu Yue, even though it satisfied her, having Ming Yun call her master felt alienating.

"Yes, Senior Sister," said Ming Yun, an imperceptible smile appearing on her face.

"Help me," said Xu Yue as she stretched out her hands to her sides.

Cultivator robes are extremely complicated, Xu Yue's parents made her put them on herself to help her become more independent.

Xu Yue was fully sick of it, she wanted to be able to relax after cultivating for such a long time, not be annoyed by those damn robes.

Ming Yun dexterously helped Xu Yue take off her old robe and put on the new one.

"Did my Mother train you for your duties as my maid?" asked Xu Yue, surprised at Ming Yun's speed and precision.

"Yes, Mistress Wu Jing did train me for a few years," said Ming Yun.

"It's a pity, you won't be able to go to the Heart Pagoda for at least the next hundred years," said Xu Yue as she looked at her.

As a time acceleration formation exists inside of the Heard Pagoda, cultivators in lower realms can only use it if they hadn't entered another time acceleration formation for a long period of time.

Xu Yue stopped thinking about that a few moments later, she then began to examine her new robe.

"Good," mumbled Xu Yue as she examined the new robe, compared to the one that was destroyed, this one felt a little bit tighter on Xu Yue. It also had major esthetic differences.

Because the Spirit of the Ice was unsure how Xu Yue would grow up, she created a robe that would work on most female cultivators. Even though the robe could change size, compared to the new one, which was personally created for Xu Yue, it still looked quite a bit worse.

After a few moments, Xu Yue started walking out of her cave abode.

"My grandfather might come to give me the rewards of the tournament while I'm in the pagoda. If that happens, you should take care of them for me," said Xu Yue as the two of them leisurely walked down the peak.

As she was about to exit the peak, Xu Yue stopped for a few minutes to talk with her master and senior sister.

"Even though it's quite early, going through the Heard Pagoda right now might be quite good, you just need to know that it will take a relatively long time, from at least a few years to even a decade," said Feng Shuchun, using her spiritual sense.

"Don't worry, master, I know what I'm getting myself into," Xu Yue said as she resumed her descent of the mountain.

After walking for a while more, the two of them finally reached the pagoda. Xu Yue leisurely walked in while Ming Yun sat cross-legged outside of the pagoda.

Two months later,

"Senior," said Ming Yun as she got up and bowed.

"Relax," said Xu Hui with a smile on his face.

"How long has Xu Yue been inside of the pagoda?" asked Xu Hui.

"She has already been in the in it for over two months," responded Ming Yun.

"She went in right away," thought Xu Hui as he looked at the Pagoda

He then took out a small spatial bag, filling it with resources from his spatial ring.

"These are your rewards from the tournament," said Xu Hui

"Ming Yun, thanks senior."

"And these are your master's rewards," said Xu Hui as he took out another spatial bag.

"I understand, I will give them to Senior Sister when she exits the pagoda," said Ming Yun as she put the two Spatial Bags on her waist.

Xu Hui nodded before disappearing.

Four months later,

As Ming Yun no longer felt her strength grow, she knew that she had reached the peak of the Foundation Establishment realm.

"I should become stronger so that I can be useful to senior sister," mumbled Ming Yun under her breath.

Five Years Later,

As she was sitting crosslegged, a mysterious aura appeared around Ming Yun.

As time passed, a transformation seemed to take place inside of her, her eyes seemed to become more and more gentle, while the darkness hidden within more and more terrifying.

"I will be the blade that destroys senior sister's enemies," mumbled Ming Yun uncosciously.
