A smile appeared on Gao Hai's face as he was finally close to winning the battle, but even so, it couldn't even begin to compare with the excitement Ming Yun was feeling right now.
"This is it, this is it " mumbled Ming Yun as she laughed maniacally. She then disregarded the countless injuries on her as she charged at Gao Hai.
Seeing this scene made Xu Yue even more excited, but as she looked at Gao Hai, she couldn't help but be annoyed by how weak he was.
Gao Hai took a defensive stance as he prepared to defend against Ming Yun's attack.
"I will win this " thought Ming Yun as she looked at Gao Hai, the smile on her face becoming even brighter.
"I should finish this fast " mumbled Gao Hai.
As Ming Yun got closer and closer to him, Gao Hai let out a devastating punch towards her, completely ignoring her attack.
He felt a pain in his left as Ming Yun's sword tore through it. The sword stopped a moment later as Ming Yun was sent flying, a smile still present on her face.
Seeing this, Gao Hai breathed a sigh of relief as he took the sword out of his arm and took a few healing pills.
After a few moments, Gao Hai walked toward where Ming Yun ended up, wanting to send her out of the tournament.
"It's finally over " mumbled Gao Hai as he let out a last punch. Halfway through his punch, he became slightly worried over the fact that Ming Yun was not transported out of the formation.
Gao Hai's punch was stopped a moment later.
"Is bullying little girls what you do for fun? " asked an unimpressed voice as Gao Hai felt a hand grip his own.

He then let out several attacks towards the source of the voice, hoping to have the advantage.
He then lost consciousness.
"What was that?" asked himself Gao Hai as he woke up.
As he checked his body, he felt like all of his injuries had disappeared, he knew that it was wis master who had healed him.
He then looked towards the tournament planet.
"I failed " mumbled Gao Hai.
"But why can I not remember how I was defeated?" asked Gao Hai to his master.
"This may be a side-effect of your injuries " responded Yan Xueqin, completely brushing off Gao Hai's question.
Five minutes earlier,
Yan Xueqin was watching his disciple. As he saw his disciple try to eliminate Ming Yun, he prepared healing pills to properly nurse him back to health.
A split second after Gao Hai punched Xu Yue, he appeared next to Yan Xueqin, who immediately used his powers alongside healing pills to heal him while ensuring his soul did not leave the body.
Yan Xueqin breathed a sigh of relief as he saw that Gao Hai was healing properly.
"Hopefully he is fine mentally"
A while later,
As Ming Yun woke up, she knew that her body had healed itself. She looked around the small room she was in.
"The rooms on the void ship aren't this small " mumbled Ming Yun as she got up and exited her room.
As she did so, she could see a small courtyard traveling in the air.
"I'm still in the tournament " thought Ming Yun.
"But I still lost the battle " thought Ming Yun as she bit her lip in frustration.
A moment later, it seemed as if the entirety of Ming Yun's body had short-circuited.
"Senior sister " greeted Ming Yun as she lowered her head shyly.

Looking at the little girl in front of her, Xu Yue couldn't find the maniac she had just seen a while ago.
"Um " responded Xu Yue, maintaining her majesty as a senior sister.
"Thank you for saving me, Senior Sister " said Ming Yun, as she was completely red.
"You don't have to thank me " said Xu Yue, being quite interested in the girl in front of her.
"You like fighting, right?" asked Xu Yue with a smile on her face.
The moment she said this, Xu Yue felt a cute bloodlust coming towards her before stopping.
A smile then appeared on her face as she felt this.
"Good " said Xu Yue as she rubbed Ming Yun's hair, causing a blush to appear on the girl's face.
"Let's go " said Xu Yue as the courtyard lowered itself to the ground.
A surprised look appeared on Ming Yun's face. It then instantly transformed into a smile.
"Yes, Senior Sister Yue " said Ming Yun as she stepped out of the courtyard and onto the ground.
A moment later, the courtyard rapidly became smaller before entering Xu Yue's spatial bag.
After this, the two girls began leisurely walking in a random direction, Xu Yue gazed at the beautiful scenery, while Ming Yun looked at her senior sister.
A defeated look appeared on Xu Hui's face as he looked at the two girls.
He then silently prayed for those that met the two of them, but at least he could rest assured that they would not kill people.
As the two of them were walking, something entered Xu Yue's mind, a little bit of bloodlust seemed to emanate from her.
After this, Xu Yue continuously started chanting Buddhist sutras in her mind, but even so, a sadistic smile appeared on her face.
Gao Hai's look of pure terror seemed to pop up in her mind.
Even as she chanted Buddhist sutras, Xu Yue let out a small laugh.
As she heard her senior sister laugh, some insecurities poped up in Ming Yun's mind.
"Is she laughing at me?" wondered Ming Yun.
"Don't worry, I'm just thinking of a small bug " said Xu Yue as she looked at Ming Yun with a smile on her face.
Gao Hai let out a shudder as he attempted to meditate. Remembering the scene of him trying to eliminate Ming Yun, he felt as if a Demon was near him.
He couldn't help but start shaking uncontrollably as he remembered that terrifying moment.
Even though he had his spiritual sense, he still couldn't help but look behind him. He felt as if the Demon was laughing at him, mocking him for his weakness.
Unconsciously, tears started coming out of his eyes.
As the laughter stopped, Gao Hai finally managed to calm himself down.

UPDATES WEEKLY The world of Hero: Generation diverges from our own in the 1970s on a night known as “The Aurora Event”. Beautiful and luminescent weather phenomena covered the planet, for ten short minutes every corner of the Earth was underneath a cascade of lights in the sky. It was days later before reports began to filter in, more than could be suppressed by Governments and Nations. The Alphas had arrived. A small percent of the global population began to exhibit otherworldly and super natural abilities, changing the course of humanity. The Vietnam Occupation ended over night, as each ruling nation took action to respond. In the coming years Alphas would begin to change the globe. Russia eventually became an Alpha nation ruled by a mysterious figure only known as Father Winter. America, Europe, and Australia become even larger superpowers as their Alpha populations exploded, in time a United Nations force known as The Guardians was established to police and document the Alpha emergence. The worlds foremost expert in Alpha studies, Dr. Pavel Laghari invented a system known as the Laghari Scale, that scored Alphas on a scale of 1 to 10 across a wide array of parameters ranging from relative physical abilities to other parameters. Now, in most civilized countries Alphas are required to be assessed the moment their powers manifest, or be in strict violation of local and international laws. In this Age of Heroes , The Guardians have designed a new Initiative to recruit younger Alphas and set them on a path to greatness. Every year teenage Alpha’s from all over the globe flock to secure locations to take part in the Guardians crucible. Many will enter, but few will earn the right to call themselves a Guardian.

8 128Deliverance : an adaption of Jane Eyre
This is one of those 'what if' adaptations. I've always wondered why Mr Rochester had to be broken so thoroughly before he could be happy with Jane Eyre. What if she had not been able to get away, what if he had been waiting by her door a second time, pleading her to stay? Would she indeed have lost herself and been made his mistress?
