《World Of Swords》39 : Spiritual Sense

"Even though our last battle was a tie, I won this right?" asked Xu Yue while she was sitting on the side of the bed.
Yue couldn't respond. Right now she was kneeling next to the bed, her head in between Xu Yue's legs.
A moment later, Xu Yue let out a low moan as she loosened her legs, letting Yue escape.
Yue did not talk about what had just happened, she merely asked a question.
"How did you know?"
"I know myself quite well" said Xu Yue, not before licking a little bit of fluid that remained on Yue's face.
"That was my mistake" responded Yue clenching her teeth about her loss.
A moment later both of them instantly became clean, their robes appearing on them.
"You still did not answer my question" said Xu Yue teasingly.
The an angry look appeared on Yue's face, she was also slightly shaking. She was not angry about what had just happened, what she was angry about was the fact that she lost. In fact, if she wanted to, she could have easily resisted, as Xu Yue did not use a lot of force.
"You only won because you took the initiative" responded Yue.
"Isn't that still a win?" asked Xu Yue with a smile on her face.
"You won the first fight " said Yue, finally admitting her loss.
A smile appeared on Xu Yue's face when she heard this.
"I have a few things I need to do as I have broken through. Don't be naughty while I'm not here " said Xu Yue with a smile on her face before disappearing.
A few moments after Xu Yue disappeared, a conflicted look appeared on Yue's face.
"Why am I so beautiful?" asked herself Yue before letting out a small laugh.

In Xu Yue's cave abode.
As her mind returned to her body, Xu Yue couldn't help but feel shocked.
Inside of her sea of consciousness, Xu Yue was nearly omnipotent. Because of this, she did not have any reference so she could measure her newly acquired strength.
"So this is the power of a soul enlightenment cultivator " mumbled Xu Yue, as she extended her newly acquired spiritual sense as far as she could.
"I probably shouldn't do that " mumbled Xu Yue sheepishly as she felt several formations restrain her.
"That was really big " thought Xu Yue as she measured the distance she could extend her spiritual sense.
Feng Shuchun's eyes opened as she felt a tiny spiritual sense wonder on her peak.
Even though the spiritual sense was insignificant to Feng Shuchun, it was enormous to other Soul Enlightenment cultivators.
"120 meters is really more than I expected " said Feng Shuchun under her breath.
The moment she had broken through, Xu Yue's spiritual sense extended 120 meters. Merely by breaking through, Xu Yue had surpassed the vast majority of cultivators.
Even the spiritual sense of those at the peak of the Soul Enlightenment realm is usually around 60 meters, merely half of Xu Yue's. After reaching Peak of the Soul Enlightenment realm, Xu Yue's spiritual sense would probably extend an exaggerated distance.
As Xu Yue was examining herself, she felt someone contact her through her spiritual sense.
"You should practice this technique " said Feng Shuchun as she waved her hand. A small jade slip appeared in front of Xu Yue.
"Yes master " responded Xu Yue through her connection to her master.
A moment later, she cut the connection.
"This is so convenient " said Xu Yue as she looked at the jade slip in front of her.

She then quickly used her spiritual sense to penetrate the jade slip.
As the technique entered her mind, Xu Yue realized just how perfect this technique was for her.
The Infinite Treasure Art was a method used to control artifacts without having them recognize you as master. Something more important to Xu Yue was a side effect of it. Using it, one could use spiritual stones to power treasures.
"It's only a tournament. I wonder if I really need it " said Xu Yue.
The moment she said this, Xu Yue felt her intuition slightly flare up. A frown then appeared on her face. She then contacted her master.
Thirty minutes later,
Xu Yue had just finished speaking with her master about some things, no one else knew what the two of them talked about.
Looking at the token in front of her, Xu Yue felt like she finally had a slight amount of privacy.
After discussing more important things, Xu Yue finally managed to talk to her master about the array formation in her cave abode, it took around ten minutes of coaxing and promises for her to obtain this token.
One hour later,
After around an hour of work, Xu Yue had finally managed to create her imprint on the token. The first thing she did with her newfound authority was power on the concealing array. An angry look appeared on her face as Xu Yue cursed those two people's shamelessness.
A few moments later, just as Xu Yue was rummaging through her treasures, she took the 7 Yang orb in her hands and looked at it.
Even though she was merely holding it in her hands, Xu Yue could feel the increased heat emanating from it.
"A more permanent solution is necessary " said Xu Yue, a ruthless look appearing on her face. The reason the amount of Yang energy that was sent into her body increased was the amount of Yin energy coming from her soul.
As she broke through to the Soul Enlightenment realm, the strength of her soul increased massively. This also vastly increased the amount of Yin energy coming to her body.
Xu Yue quickly took these thoughts from her mind as she started preparing defensive treasures with the Infinite Treasure art, treasure after treasure. Even though her speed was extremely fast, it took Xu Yue three days to prepare all of them.
Even after she felt like she had enough defensive treasures for the entire Origin Sword sect, Xu Yue continued, increasing the pile in her spatial bag.
An unknown number of treasures stood in Xu Yue's spatial bag waiting to be used.

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
