《World Of Swords》27 : Grand Completion

Liang Xiaoling was speechless when she looked at how her master was talking with Wu Jing.
"When I was annoyed, I used to hit Xu Chao between his legs. I hope that didn't cause you any trouble," said Feng Shuchun.
Talking about beating Xu Chao was a common ground between the two cultivators. Feng Shuchun was Xu Chao's senior sister. When she became annoyed, she would beat Xu Chao to vent her anger.
As for Wu Jing, after she and Xu Chao became Dao Companions, when he did something that annoyed her, she would beat him half to death, help him heal using pills, and then do it once again.
Wu Jing was several times more ruthless than Liang Xiaoling and Feng Shuchun. These two held back quite a bit and tried not to cause too much pain to Xu Yue.
"Don't worry, I have checked for damage. It's him that is useless," said Wu Jing, with a little bit of anger in her voice.
Liang Xiaoling became a little bit sorry for the sect master after the two female cultivators shared countless stories about beating him.
"Let me tell you a secret I discovered," said Feng Shuchun. Liang Xiaoling could swear she saw malice in her master's eyes.
"For some reason, if you break Xu Chao's third rib from the left side, he will be in a lot more pain than if you do anything else, " finished Feng Shuchun.
"Amazing," mumbled Wu Jing as her eyes shone. A deep smile appeared on her face. She could not wait to rush home.
"It's a pity," said Feng Shuchun, a little bit of frustration visible in her eyes.
Both Liang Xiaoling and Wu Jing were surprised to see the frustration in Feng Shuchun's eyes.
"Right now, even if he is in great pain, Xu Chao simply endures it, right?"

As she thought of this, Wu Jing knew what Feng Shuchun wanted to say. A sad look then appeared on her face.
Seeing the sad look on her face, Feng Shuchun couldn't help but be reminded of Xu Yue. A determined look then appeared on her face. She started looking through her storage ring.
A moment later, she took out an old memory crystal from it.
She put the memory crystal in between the three of them and then activated it.
Watching this video made Liang Xiaoling feel like she had lost her innocence.
A young Xu Chao was on the ground being kicked by a young Feng Shuchun.
"Don't bother me!" said Feng Shuchun as she let out a devastating kick between Xu Chao's legs.
Xu Chao let out a howling scream before fainting.
Remembering this video made Liang Xiaoling's face completely red.
Feng Shuchun looked towards Wu Jing.
"I need to do something important, Junior Sister," said Wu Jing, with a righteous look on her face.
"Yes, senior sister," said Feng Shuchun obediently.
Wu Jing excitedly left the abode.
In Xu Yue's cave abode.
A panting Xu Yue stood still in the middle of her training room. She had finally completed the training for the day.
Even though Xu Yue was extremely strong for someone at the Foundation Establishment, no matter how strong you are, if you train with all your might, you will become tired.
Xu Yue continued training daily. The only things she would do were train, paint, talk to her master. Sometimes she would have her senior sister to brush her hair, other times one of her family members would visit.
It seemed as if time had passed in a flash before she knew Xu Yue was already fourteen. She had already been at the body unification stage for two and a half years.

Xu Yue was standing in the middle of the training ground. She then started using the Origin Sword Style. As she practiced the style, Xu Yue felt something click inside of her mind. It seemed as if all of the mysteries of swordsmanship were right before her eyes, and she just lacked the heart to see them.
Xu Yue's swordsmanship started to become faster, stronger, and more unpredictable.
Even without Xu Yue being able to see or use spiritual energy, the natural energy of the world followed Xu Yue's attacks, enhancing them.
As Xu Yue continued using the Origin Sword style, if one looked towards Xu Yue right then, it would seem as if her body, was starting to become more real, more unified. Before, when Xu Yue attacked, she would use all the muscles in her body, but now, it seemed as if her body was one whole object, she did not even need to try to use all her body.
Even her most casual attack now would make better use of her body than her most focused attack from before.
"Reaching Grand Completion in the Origin Sword Style has caused me to reach Body Preparation faster than expected," thought Xu Yue.
After this, Xu Yue completed the rest of her training, and after a short bath, she painted for around forty-five minutes before going out of her cave abode.
Around one and a half years ago, Xu Yue started putting all her paintings in her spatial bag. Some days she would create one painting, other days she could even spend the entire day focused on painting, those days were the only time she didn't train.
A few hundred paintings littered her cave abode, while around two thousand paintings were stored in her spatial bag.
Xu Yue started walking towards her master's cave abode. Every time she broke through to a new cultivation rank, she would go and inform her master.
"Master," said Xu Yue lightly.
After a moment, a hole appeared in the barrier surrounding her master's cave abode.
Liang Xiaoling was surprised. Looking at Xu Yue, who was only half a head shorter than her, made her feel a bit threatened.
"Senior sister," said Xu Yue excitedly before hugging her senior sister.
A moment later, Liang Xiaoling felt a need to want to bully Xu Yue. She stamped out that thought at lightning speed.
"Master will come here in a moment, Junior Sister," said Liang Xiaoling with a straight face.
"Why were you here, Senior Sister?" asked Xu Yue, puzzled.
"I have something to ask master," said Liang Xiaoling, not wanting to continue.

Ursus Ex Machina
Ozzy was a man of the wild. Raised in a remote village atop the world's mightiest mountain, he'd been taught to respect and revere the natural world. The realm he was born into had been there long before him, and it would remain there long after him. Sure, there was the occasional madman who threatened to destroy it, but such boasts were always empty. No one individual was actually capable of demolishing this beautiful blue-and-green ball Ozzy called home. No matter what terrible magics these villains wielded, they were incapable of causing permanent harm to the environment. Even if the planet was completely devastated, it would recover. Life would find a way to flourish, same as it always had. That was what Ozzy believed from the bottom of his heart, so he never once felt the need to save the world he loved. After all, it was never truly in danger. The world would be fine no matter what. The people were a wee bit endangered, but that was another story altogether. However, what would happen if Ozzy suddenly found himself devoid of his beloved wilds? What would the man do if the realm he knew - one of wonder, magic, and chaos - was replaced with a man-made environment of concrete, industry, and steam? Ozzy could never imagine such a thing happening, and yet that was his new reality. After losing a fateful confrontation with a mad wizard, he and his friends found themselves transported to a strange world so thoroughly alien that every waking moment feels like a fever dream. Separated and scattered to the four corners of this land, each of these adventurers will need to adapt, survive, and overcome if they hope to reunite. They would also need to do so quickly. The sooner they are able to find one another, the sooner they can figure out a way back home and have another crack at putting an end to the villain's plans. Whether such a thing was actually possible in a world with barely any magic in it was a valid concern, but Ozzy had more immediate things to worry about. For instance, why did the air smell like a perpetual forest fire? How did ships sail through the sky as if it were water? And most importantly, was the pavement he was hurtling towards at high speed much softer than it looked? Probably not, but a man could hope.
