Looking at her sleeping senior sister, Xu Yue couldn't help but smile. Then a thought entered her mind.
"Senior sister Ling Ling," said Xu Yue lightly, with a smirk on her face.
After Xu Yue said this, Liang Xiaoling woke up immediately.
"How many years has it been since the last time I have actually slept?" thought Liang Xiaoling.
Looking at the smirk on Xu Yue's face made Liang Xiaoling regret falling asleep.
"Have you slept well, senior sister?" asked Xu Yue, the smirk on her face growing.
Liang Xiaoling used one of her fingers to hit Xu Yue on the forehead before disappearing.
Standing inside of her cave abode, Liang Xiaoling breathed a sigh of relief. A sad look then appeared on her face.
"Having to escape from your little junior sister," said Liang Xiaoling, knowing that she would not be able to live down for the rest of her life.
The sad look then transformed into a tangled expression.
"Was it worth it?" Liang Xiaoling asked herself, remembering how cute Xu Yue looked when she was sleeping.
"Stupid," cursed Liang Xiaoling, cursing her past self for not using a memory crystal to have a picture of the sleeping Xu Yue.
Xu Yue smirked looking at the memory crystal in her hand. It had had been transformed to be usable by those without qi. She then used her fingers to press on the side of the crystal and placed it down.
Looking at the images of her senior sister that appeared in the air made Xu Yue's face go into a smirk.
Xu Yue then looked through the images to find the one that she liked the most. After going through all of them, she had finally found the cutest one of them all.

Looking at how cute her senior sister looked in this image made Xu Yue want to paint.
She then took out a blank canvas and the brush she normally used and began painting.
This took Xu Yue much longer than usual to complete this painting, around two hours. This was because Xu Yue would stop and admire the reference much more than usual.
Most would consider it narcissistic to admire yourself so much, but Xu Yue considered it only natural because of how cute she is.
Xu Yue's face went into a smile at how good the painting ended up looking.
"I truly am the cutest," said Xu Yue with a normal look on her face. If anyone said that they were cuter than her, Xu Yue would take out her sword and fight one hundred rounds with them.
Xu Yue hesitated whether to put the painting in her spatial bag or keep it in her cave abode.
After this, Xu Yue went to her training field and continued training with the sword. After this, nothing major happened for around eight months. For these eight months, most of Xu Yue's time was spent practicing the sword or painting. Sometimes she would talk with her master or senior sister; other times, someone from her family visited her.
Looking at Xu Yue who was training her swordsmanship, Feng Shuchun couldn't help but smile, Xu Yue was extremely obedient, ever since she had come to her mountain, she had never caused trouble for her.
Feng Shuchun then waited for Xu Yue to continue training with the sword, not interrupting her. She looked at her disciple who was practicing the Origin Sword Style and felt that Xu Yue could reach Grand Completion in the sword style in two or three years.
The Origin Sword style is a sword art designed to help those that cultivate it find their own path.

The difficulty of cultivating this style grows exponentially.
There exist four stages of mastery of a certain technique.
Initial Accomplishment
Greater Mastery
Grand Completion
Insight into Creation
For the Origin Sword style, Grand Completion is the highest level one can reach. To reach insight into creation, the cultivator's mastery of the sword needs to be roughly equal to that of the creator at the time of creating the technique.
For the Origin Sword style, this is absolutely impossible. It is said that no one, not even Sword Immortals, have ever reached this level.
After a while, Xu Yue had finally finished her training, since Feng Shuchun did not want to disrupt her disciple's training, Xu Yue had not noticed her presence up until now.
"Master," said Xu Yue with a smile on her face. After eight months, Xu Yue had somewhat grown. By now she was already around 140 centimeters tall, Feng Shuchun felt like in a few years she would be dwarfed by Xu Yue.
"Yue're," said Feng Shuchun, looking at her youngest disciple.
"What is it, master?" asked Xu Yue. Normally Xu Yue would go to her master to get guidance around once every two weeks, but for Feng Shuchun to come to her cave abode and meet her here to say something to her is extremely rare.
"Soon you will need to go to a tournament." said Feng Shuchun, Xu Yue was quite surprised, she had not gone to a single tournament in her entire life. She also became quite tense.
"I should begin my preparations," thought Xu Yue, finding out her opponents would make this much easier.
"When will the tournament take place?" asked Xu Yue. If she had a month or two to prepare, Xu Yue thought that her odds would become much better.
"Seven years and five months later," said Feng Shuchun.
Xu Yue almost choked. She then breathed a sigh of relief. By then she would be around nineteen and a half years old. Her cultivation level would be completely different than what it is now.
Feng Shuchun then took out a ring from her spatial ring.
"You need to refine this artifact," said Feng Shuchun while looking at Xu Yue.
"This is one of the requirements to get the actual rewards from the tournament," continued Feng Shuchun.
"What about those that don't have it?" asked Xu Yue.
"They won't get the best rewards from the tournament no matter how well they do," said Feng Shuchun.
"You should not reveal it's existence to anyone"
"This artifact is an open secret among the peak and first grade powers," said Feng Shuchun to Xu Yue
She then left.
"So this is one of the methods used to keep other powers from rising up," thought Xu Yue.
If the rewards gotten from using this artifact could be beneficial to Xu Yue, she could only imagine how life-changing they would be for those without a background.
