Worshipper Arc. Chapter 20. Interrogation.
A few minutes prior to the capture of the Worshipper.
Valoran senses that his Mother is in danger, as well as sensing that she is afraid.
“Mother!” Valoran says with a worried tone.
“I can sense it too, Valoran.” Demonlise remarks also with worry.
“What’s wrong?” Merial questions with concern/
Artemsia turns her face slightly and faces Merial, Biatrix, Selina and Atticus who are all looking with concern toward her.
Artemsia begins to speak: It’s Valoran’s Mother…she’s being attacked.”
The others gasp for air…
“How dare they attack his kind Mother.” Atticus says in frustration.
“Valoran…what are you going to do?” Biatrix asks with curiosity.
“He will go to save her, of course.” Merial replies.
“Yes he sure will.” Selina adds on with reassurance that Aelina will not be hurt.
Valoran turns around to face his friends.
“Please tell the Professor that I will be late.” Valoran asks the others.
Demonlise approaches Valoran.
“Valoran…please allow me to save her. This is clearly a trap to lure you out.” Demonlise states.
Valoran strokes his chin.
“Alright. Please make sure she and her friends are safe.” Valoran asks from Demonlise with sincerity.
“Of course. What should I do with the aggressor?” Demonlise asks.
“Bring this fool to this abandoned building.” Valoran holds out his palm and a image appears of a small abandoned building in the middle of nowhere.
“Alright.” Demonlise replies.
Demonlise casts irum (teleportation magic).
At the abandoned building Demonlise teleported the aggressor.
It’s dark…so dark that you can’t see your hand in front of your face.
In the distance the worshipper is seeing two crimson eyes piercing through the darkness and getting closer and closer as footsteps can be heard by the Worshipper.
“This is the first time I met a Worshipper. You have no idea how furious I am.” Valoran says with anger in his voice.
Then all of a sudden the eyes disappear and it’s pitch black again…
A finger snap sound fills the room for a second.
The once dark room is illuminated by torches scattered across the room.
The Worshipper looks at two legs directly in front.
The Worshipper looks upward.
Valoran is standing in front of the Worshipper.
Realising this the Worshipper falls back and crawls backward to get away from him.
“I have a few questions to ask.” Valoran says, looking down toward the Worshipper.
The Worshipper remains silent and slowly crawls backward getting away from Valoran.
Valoran slowly takes steps forward.
“Worshipper. It’s pointless to resist me, I will get the information I seek one way or the other. The amount of pain you will experience until I get that information is up to you.” Valoran explains to the Worshipper.

The Worshipper crawled to the back wall and can no longer back away from Valoran.
“It’s useless. You will not leave this place until you tell me everything I want to know.” Valoran states with anger.
“My blood is boiling with anger. You attacked my Mother, a defenceless kind woman who I owe everything to. Right now I want to kill you a thousand times over but I won’t if you cooperate.” Valoran offers to the Worshipper.
The Worshipper still refuses to speak.
Valoran has enough…he grabs the Worshipper by the throat with his right arm, lifting the Worshipper slightly in the air, feet dangling a few inches above the ground.
“Despite what you did, I have been patient with you now that patience vanished.” Valoran expresses frustration and anger with his crimson eyes glowing with furry.
“Let’s remove your disguise.” Valoran moves his left arm removing the hood of the head revealing a female elf with blond hair and green eyes.
“An elf…” Valoran says slightly shocked.
The elvish Worshipper struggles to breathe as Valoran still holds a firm grip on her throat.
Valoran lets go of her throat and she falls to the ground.
“Ahhh” The elvish Worshipper screams in pain as a result of hitting the ground hard.
“And here I wondered if your vocal cords are compromised.” Valoran replies to the scream as this is the first time she made a sound.
She stares up at him.
“I have nothing to say to you…I only answer to the Gods followers.” The elvish Worshipper says in disgust toward Valoran looking down at her ring on her left ring finger.
Valoran picks up on that. “Go ahead…use the power of that ring, the rings of Livirea which grant small portions of divine power which you can use in hopes to defeat me. I do believe that you are aware of the small drawback that it reduces your lifespan every time you use that power” Valoran remarks with sarcasm.
“I am aware…all of us Worshippers know that this great power we have been gifted comes at the low price of our insignificant lives” The elvish Worshipper remarks in joy.
“You truly are beyond saving if you value your lives as insignificant, blindly worshipping the Gods and their cruel actions.” Valoran replies in disgust.
“God's ways are absolute nothing and no one can go against them.” The elvish Worshipper replies with joy once again.
Valoran smirks slightly in amusement hearing that.
“You can believe that if you wish to.” Valoran replies with that smirk of his.
“Now let's cut to the chase then…Why are you after me and my friends? Who sent those threat letters?..And why did you attack my Mother?” Valoran bombardes the elvish Worshipper with questions at once.

“I have no idea…I was ordered to attack your Mother by my superiors” The elvish Worshipper replies, facing away from Valoran in anger but mostly because of fear.
Valoran, who now has enough of these games, reaches out his right arm, his right palm hovering a few inches above her head.
A magic circle appears.
The elvish worshipper is confused…”What are you-” She is unable to speak as her entire body is frozen in place like a statue.
“Don’t bother…Dimonos (Domination magic) let’s me control you and bend your actions to my will.” Valoran explains.
“Now answer the question that I asked earlier…the more you resist and lie the more pain you will experience” Valoran reveals.
At an instant the elvish Worshipper is able to move her head and mouth.
“I-I…” She tries to resist with all her strength.
The spell takes effect immediately and she begins to experience intense pain.
“AHHHHHH!!!” She screams in tremendous pain.
“I have told you…the more you resist the more pain you will experience. Now answer truthfully or it gets far worse.” Valoran explains.
“I’d rather die than reveal a single piece of information to you.” The elvish Worshipper says in pain.
“Normally that could very well happen, your body could experience such pain that you would die of shock…however death will not be enough to escape me.” Valoran states.
“What are you…?” The Worshipper asks out of breath and exhausted due to the immense pain.
“You were the one who spied on me…you should know what I am.” Valoran replies.
“Now let me hear some answers before things become ugly.” Valoran explains in slight frustration
The elvish Worshipper knows that she’s backed into the corner by Valoran’s power.
“I don’t know who wrote those letters, but….I was handed them by a Worshipper whose identity I do not know.” She answers with disgust for herself not being able to resist Valoran’s interrogation.
“You were the one that delivered those threats…who was the one ordering you to attack Aelina Silver…my Mother?” Valoran questions curiously.
“I-It was the same person who handed me the letter…I have no idea who this person is but he or she holds a high rank within the Worshippers I believe the highest as this person’s robe has gold shoulder blade armour.” She answers out of breath due to the pain.
Valoran, seeing that she experiences no additional pain, knows she’s telling the truth.
“Why are you Worshippers so fixated on me specifically?” Valoran asks with interest.
“It’s your power you have demonstrated during the magic duels…At first we wanted to recruit you but…we soon realised that you would never join because you despise domination over others especially toward the weak…you show them compassion and respect, how disgusting and waste of power” She answers with disgust.
“That doesn’t answer my question on why you are still pursuing me.” Valoran says to the Worshipper impatiently.
“We-We have been informed that two Gods have been slain Raizel a death God and a Magic God known as Hilliam also vanished…the angels told us to look out for anyone who possess great power since they say that it wasn’t the work of titans but someone anonymous…the reason why you have become such a big target is because not only did you demonstrate great power but this nexus point is special, after all it’s where the Magic King died. God King Daimos doesn’t respect many beings but he did respect the Magic King for his power and when he was told by him that someone would surpass him and would be more powerful than the Gods he kept a close watch for a potential successor to the last Magic King…” She answers by taking deep breaths in between due to exhaustion.
Valoran once again sees that no additional pain has been done to her by the spell Dimonos (Domination magic) which means she tells the truth.
“I see and this person could be anyone then…” Valoran mumbles to himself.
“You can’t defeat us, we are everywhere, we have eyes and ears everywhere and infiltrate every infrastructure there is, schools, hospitals, stores and even capital guards” She says smiling slightly.
“We will see about that.” Valoran replies, crossing his arms.
“That’s everything I know…What next are you going to kill me?” She asks with a smile indicating that perhaps she wants to die.
Valoran looks down upon her.
“No. You have served your purpose…I will not kill you for threatening my Mother and my friends since you just followed orders but I will make sure that you don’t remember a thing.” Valoran replies with his eyes glowing bright crimson.
She looks into her eyes and the next second she’s back in the capital on an empty alleyway.
“H-How did I get her?” She says confused.
Valoran teleports back to the academy as he is already late for the next lesson.
He walks inside the class hall.
“Nice for you to show up, Valoran.” Professor Asparata says with a smile.
“My apologies, something came up during lunch that required immediate action.” Valoran apologises.
“It’s fine, please take your seat.” Professor Asparata responds with a smile.
He makes his way down to his seat where the others wait for him.
“How did everything go?” Merial asks with worry.
Valoran looks at his friends.
“It’s not looking good.” Valoran replies with worry.

From the Final World
I have lived a long, long time. Longer than the universe knows; longer than any star has seen or traveling light records. My memories; that is all that is left that knows that length, and that which was seen within it. Then again, that is all that ever did. When I am gone, it will be forgotten, a truth and a history lost forever no matter who or what tries to find it. I think that is why I write this now. A record, or a lament, of the most significant being of all time. It is a prideful exaltation of endless triumph, or the dread condemnation of infinite evil. I don’t know which; I shall leave it for others to judge. I could explain further, of course. I could list the sins that have been committed, the deeds that have been done. Yet for now, I believe this is enough. Her story will speak for itself. About the good, and evil, in the heart of a single girl burdened with more than her fair share. And how she reacted to it. So, I will tell her story. Of gods and devils, mortals and monsters, of legends long forgotten and civilizations long turned to dust. And in the end, I hope she knows herself, whether it is salvation, or destruction, she should receive.
