Chapter 26, Tristan's a Simp
You don't need to feel shy around me, I don't bite.
After Mia and Brady's cute little date, Hallow had decided that she wanted to join the club in dating their celebrity crush, but don't get them wrong, they want to ask Tristan out but it's still a little scary and nerve-racking.
So they had Angel message Tristan for them to meet at the park, Hallow was a little excited for it because she knew that he was always shy and nervous around them, she didn't know why but she always found it adorable.
The way he would stutter and stumble over his words were enough to have Hallow in shambles, the way he couldn't keep eye contact with her for no reason at all was the reason why they kept in touch.
Hallow got dressed casually, wearing a cute white croptop and matching sweatpants with some running sneakers, Dahlia didn't approve of this date.
"Dee, I'll be back home in like two hours tops."
Hallow smiled as Dahlia followed them to the car, they didn't like the thought of someone really close to her leaving to go on a date, they didn't want Hallow to leave.
"You're gonna leave me with those weirdos!"
Dahlia muttered as she kicked a few pebbles, Hallow only grinned and hugged the younger girl tightly before telling her to behave herself, Hallow got into the car and put their seatbelt on.
Before driving off, they needed some music to be on so that they weren't alone with their own thoughts, sometimes thoughts can do so much damage.
As Hallow drove off to the park, she was singing along to Michael Jackson's 'Chicago', which is one of her favorite songs.
She listens to this song on a daily basis, whether they're cooking, cleaning or just chilling around the house, it gets her in the confident mood.
Hallow got into some traffic while driving to the park so she decided to replay the song and sing along louder this time just so that their nerves were relaxed, she tried to think that all she was doing was meeting up with a friend.

"She said she didn't have no man, raised her kids the very best she can. She told me she was all alone said at home she didn't have no phone."
Hallow sang as her heart beat raced, this was the song that she would honestly listen to that would never get sickening to hear, there's times where she would sing it subconsciously and have the other girls play it.
But nobody complained, the song was amazing and it truly made everyone dance.
"She said just give her a page, fifty nine was the code she gave. She lied to you, lied to me, thought she was loving me, loving me yeah!"
Hallow loved the chorus the most, as they got to the parking lot of the park, they took a deep breath and just tried to think that Tristan was just a friend so she didn't get too nervous around him.
Finally, she turned the car off and got out of the car with a final deep breath before walking towards the park and sitting at the bench, Tristan wasn't there yet but he did agree to come alone.
There was no secret that Tristan was attractive to Hallow, but it was a secret that Hallow was attractive to Tristan, except you would have ever guessed since the both know how to keep their feeling a secret.
Hallow took the alone time to stare at the stars above them, since the girl was so fascinated with the stars and the moon, every single girl pitched in to buy some glow stars for the ceiling.
"I hope I didn't make you wait too long, Miguel wanted to go get something to eat."
Tristan apologized which startled Hallow a bit but smiled, he wasn't late at all, Hallow was the one who was early than the time they had agreed to meet.
"Don't sweat it, I didn't want to be late so I came a little earlier."

Hallow joked a little as Tristan let a breathy laugh as he sat down beside her, they were like two middle school students feeling awkward as they realized how much they really liked one another, there was a little awkward silence.
"How come you don't really talk to me, did I do something to make you uncomfortable because I did then I am so sorry, I get really nervous when meeting new people and ramble on.. like I'm doing right now, I'm sorry."
Hallow rambled before catching herself in what she was doing, Tristan looked at the obvious nervous girl and subconsciously grabbed their hand.
"You didn't say or do anything wrong, don't worry about that. I'm just, a little shy around you."
Tristan admitted sheepishly, Hallow felt their cheeks glow red as if they were a glow stick that had just been freshly broken.
You don't need to feel shy around me, I don't bite.
Hallow chuckled, Tristan seemed to take that moment to finally blossom and the two had a bunch of things in common, it was like a weight was removed from their shoulders when Tristan kept making jokes and continuing conversation.
They liked that Tristan was a good listener, he knew when to give his opinion and understood how to give his advice.
"I like this, I like speaking to you."
Hallow smiled as they got up, Tristan copied the movement and together they walked around the park together, their hands brushed against each other and Hallow didn't miss a beat before holding his hand.
Tristan was more than happy, anyone who walked by the park and saw the two would believe that they were together and just either hanging out or going on a date.
"I like speaking to you as well Hallow, I like you personally."
Tristan unknowningly just admitted his feelings for the girl, when he realized what he had said his heart began to best faster than it originally was when they were holding hands, Hallow had just realized what he meant by that and stopped walking.
Hallow needed a moment to think about if they should have confessed that they also feel the same way or if they should just walk away at that moment, but lord knows what the girls would do to them when they hear that Hallow didn't reciprocate the feelings that they have had for some time now.
"I like you personally, way more than you actually think."
Hallow finally released the words, Tristan let out a huge breath that he didn't even realize that he was holding in, Hallow laughed and teased at how relief he was to hear those words come out of their mouth.
Tristan chuckled and nodded before looking at the time before telling Hallow that they should head home, he walked her to their car and smiled.
"I'll see you tomorrow, girlfriend."
Tristan said in a girly voice, Hallow laughed and hugged her new boyfriend who was no longer shy around her which made Hallow feel good about herself, she felt good inside to know that they were the ones to break Tristan out of his shell.
"See you tomorrow, boyfriend."
Hallow repeated back in the same girl voice before they moved away from the hug, Tristan left a kiss on Hallow's forehead before walking to his car but not driving off until Hallow had drove away and drove to their house.
But when Tristan got home and spilled all the details about what happened, he was forever teased.
