Sometimes I wonder if you hear yourself when you start to speak.
~ Third Person POV ~
Nobody really knew how fast the time flew but soon enough, everyone was saying goodbyes and exchanging phone numbers so that they could stay in contact, Hallow got into the car and everyone put their seatbelts on before Hallow began to drive out of the parking lot and drive home.
Everyone except Hallow had been messaging their crushes, Venus had been asking everyone questions on how they think the hang out went, obviously everyone had said that it was good and then resumed to text the person they were getting to know.
Venus leaned over to Dahlia, noticing how quiet they were about the question and asked her if she was okay with the hang out and if she was able find out if Madeleine was straight or not but unfortunately, Dahlia didn't have the courage to ask her.
It would be weird to ask someone out of the blue, if they were actually not straight or if they just liked making out with girls for fun, you know, normal girl things.
"Just text her, you don't even gotta use words Dee. Straight up send 'Are you' and then add the nail emoji at the end."
Venus advised before putting on their earbuds and began to listen to some music, Dahlia nodded her head but didn't know if now would be a good time to ask Madeleine for their sexuality, maybe they would wait until they got to the house to pull Hallow to the side and have her message Madeleine.
Sometimes you needed some help from your friends to have courage to ask your crush whether or not they were into girls or not, it's not easy to do that either.
"Maybe just call her and say that you would love to be the first girl to date her."

Charlotte suggested as they walked to the pantry closet to grab some snacks, Dahlia looked at their best friend with both eyebrows furrowed, Hallow looked at Dahlia and warned her to watch her words before allowing her to speak their mind.
It was like Hallow could read each and every girls's mind without a fail, they just knew how they would respond and would rather tell them to watch their mouth before they say something that they will regret and something that could potentially upset.
Sometimes I wonder if you hear yourself when you start to speak.
Dahlia muttered as she opened her messages and stared at the conversation with Madeleine, they seriously didn't know if she should ask about her sexuality right away or if they should wait for like a day or two.
Venus told Dahlia to go for it immediately just to get it out the way, Hallow said that she should follow her heart, Angel sided with Venus and Mia sided with Hallow.
Charlotte was the tie breaker but they didn't know what would be a better idea to go for, so Charlotte did what Charlotte always did.
She took out her phone and went to their conversation with Jacob, this wasn't an easy task to do and not even Hallow would actually be able to do it but Charlotte was a confident and kind soul.
"What are you doing, what, what is she doing?"
Dahlia questioned with a hint of nervousness lacing her tone, Hallow wrapped their arms around the girl and told her to just relax as Charlotte knew what they were doing, or at least they hoped that they knew what they were doing.
Angel walked over to Charlotte and smiled at the girl, Charlotte was texting Jacob and asking what sexuality was Madeleine, waiting for a response, Charlotte decided to give a small pep talk to Dahlia.

"Okay, he texted back, don't get your tits in a twist with whatever he responded with alright?"
Charlotte told Dahlia, Hallow softly slapped the arm of Charlotte's as Venus, Mia and Angel laughed, Charlotte handed the phone to Dahlia and encouraged her to read the text.
They just couldn't however, it was a mix of afraid and nervous that made it uneasy to read to message and move on, Hallow smiled at the young girl and nodded her head as a way to talk to just go for it.
"Madeleine's sexuality, she's bisexual!"
Dahlia shrieked as she jumped up and down, she was sure that the girl would be as straight as a ruler but she's was as fruity as captain crunch, Hallow smiled at how excited the girl got.
Handing the phone back to Charlotte, Dahlia hugged Charlotte and thanked them for their actions as they didn't need to do it but wanted to do it, from the kindness of their heart.
"We should go upstairs and go get some rest, we'll be able to hang out with them or at least speak to them tomorrow."
Hallow spoke as they walked up the stairs with the four girls trailing behind them, as everyone bid their goodnights and goodbyes, Dahlia held Hallow back and hugged them as a young daughter would to their mother when they realize how grateful they are.
Grateful to have someone to love and care for them, grateful to have someone to protect and support them, grateful to know that they have a mother figure to look up to without having to think about anything else.
"I love you Hallow."
Dahlia muttered into Hallow's shoulder, Hallow could feel tears brim as this would be the first sincere 'I love you', Hallow didn't know how to handle this other than saying it back and kissing the girl's forehead.
"Goodnight Dee."
Hallow whispered, Dahlia smiled.
"Night Halloween."
Dahlia whispered back, the nickname was what Dahlia originally thought was Hallow's name, she used to call Hallow that until Venus had corrected her when they caught wind of what they were saying, embarrassed to say the least.
But Hallow went to sleep feeling like a proud mother, even though Dahlia had done the bare minimum.
