《Cherry Cola》IX. Javon Has A Crush
Advertisement
You're telling me, you have had a crush on her since forever and you haven't said anything?
"Banana clip all my love for you!"
I sang quietly to 'Banana Clip' by Miguel, like I said, all my songs are bangers and if you disagree, that's your opinion.
You could keep it as well because I don't need to hear anyone telling me that my playlist is garbage, I honestly think I would make a good DJ.
When I finished getting dressed, I did my hair and no makeup since I had PE and I didn't want to sweat all of it off.
I made my bed and sprayed cherry scented perfume on, I continued singing the song since it was still too early for me to go downstairs and go to school.
"It's like I'm trigger happy ah-ha-ha."
I decided to organize some of the things that were out of place to pass the time, today was a Wednesday which meant it would be the third day of me getting to know Delilah.
So far she's chill, she rocks with almost everything Xiomara and I rock to.
She's like a different version of me and Xiomara but, she's definitely cooler.
I mean have you seen her or speak to her? She's soft with her voice and really pretty.
When it was my usual time to head downstairs, I looked in the mirror and twirled for myself.
Making sure my skirt doesn't move up or down, I leave my bedroom with my phone in hand and wearing my bookbag.
Excitedly but quietly walking down the stairs quickly since I had a chemistry project that would be given to me later today, chemistry isn't my favorite subject but it's something that keeps me awake.
Especially with my class, the reason for that is because some kid named Scott, well, he forgot to add a certain solution and he's now without eyebrows.

I'm hoping something goes wrong again and that if wouldn't be a boring day today, but than again nothing too exciting.
As I hit the last step, I smiled and walked to the kitchen, grabbing my bag of lunch and coffee before heading out.
I missed having my boyfriend next door, we used to ride to school together or walk but he's a couple of blocks farther from me and I wasn't about to pick him up.
When I arrive to school, I parked my car and got out.
Just as I did, I caught a glimpse of Delilah, she was getting out of her car and then we made eye contact.
She smiled at me and I waved her over, she closed her door and locked her car before walking over to me.
She always smelled like cotton candy, I didn't even think that was possible but that might just be my favorite scent in the world.
"Good morning Delilah."
I greeted her, she smiled at me and we walked into the school together.
"You don't have to call me Delilah, you can call me Lilah."
Delilah told me, I looked at her and we continued to walk to our lockers, although we didn't have lockers near each other, we waited for one another.
Then Xiomara walked in and the three of us headed to the cafeteria, we were like the golden trio already but we had to make sure we could trust Delilah.
"I'm going to go call my dad, I'll be right back."
Delilah informed us before walking away and leaving the cafeteria, Xiomara and I shrugged it off and sat down with our usual friends.
That's when I noticed Javon's jaw dropping low to the ground and he looked dumbfounded, I was confused to say the least.

"What's wrong Von?"
I asked as I held Jaden's hand, everyone's head looked over at him and he closed his mouth before looking at me and Xiomara.
"You know Delilah-Mae?"
He finally said, well he asked but you get what I meant.
Xiomara and I nodded with a smile and that's when his cheeks went a light shade of pink, his pale skin tone made him look like a strawberry.
"Why, do you like her?"
Xiomara asked as she took a sip from her milk carton and looked at him, but spitting it out when he nodded his head.
I was also surprised.
"She's been my crush since freshmen year, but she never really noticed or spoke to me."
Javon told us as he rested his head on the palm of his hand and looked as if he was in a dream like state.
I looked at him and chuckled, I remember being like that when I was around Jaden, before we dated of course.
You're telling me, you have had a crush on her since forever and you haven't said anything?
I asked as I got up from my seat, I looked at my phone and it was almost time for homeroom.
Javon nodded shyly and I laughed a bit but stifled the rest, I was gonna help him but he needed to at least try before I did anything.
"I could help you if you'd like."
I offered as the bell finally went off, Javon looked at me and smiled.
"I'd like that, thanks Scar."
Javon thanked me and we hugged before he and his brother left to homeroom, Xiomara and I looked at one another just laughed.
This was going to be more interesting than Scott's eyebrow incident in Chemistry class.
