Chapter 19, Clean-Up
You look so familiar like it's not even funny.
I parked the car and went inside of the house, I went to my room to change into a KISS oversize tee and some purple shorts.
I put on some fuzzy socks and grabbed my landline, dialing Javon's number.
"Hey J."
I greeted as he answered after two rings.
"Hey NJ, I'm on my way right now."
He took the words right out of my mouth, I smiled at how we only knew each other for some weeks now.
"Great, call me when you get here and I'll open the door for you."
We hung up and I decided to binge watch Criminal Minds, I was pretty bored as well.
I haven't posted on my Instagram in a while, people keep thinking I'm dead and to be fair, I wasn't doing anything to clear up the rumors.
There were literal sad edits and people mourning my "death" even though I was alive and well.
So I decided to clear up the rumors and worries by taking a photo and posting it on my account, even if it looked bad.
@ GhostedbyNJ posted!
I smiled at all the comments welcoming me back, I mean it was refreshing.
I was an amazing social media influencer that actually did things instead of lying to my audience and fans.
My landline rung, I looked at the ID called and noticed it was Javon.
He was most likely already here so I let the phone ring and walked downstairs.
Even thought it was like twenty minutes, it felt like hours.
"Hey, come in."
I opened the door, Javon smiles and walked into the house.
I grabbed his hand walked to my room, walking to be bathroom.
"Sit on the counter, I'll grab the first aid kit and a wet hand towel."

He sat on the counter, taking his phone out.
I left the bathroom and went downstairs to the living room since the first aid kit is always kept there.
I grabbed it amd searched for a hand towel, once I found it, I ran upstairs and into the bathroom.
"Okay, let's clean up your nose that was obviously bleeding."
The blood looked recent, he must've cleaned it and it bled again.
I wet the towel with cold water and slowly dabbed it on the blood, not wanting to hurt him or cause bleeding again.
After some minutes his nose was clean again, I threw the towel out and grabbed rubbing alcohol and cotton balls.
I went the cotton ball and smiled at him.
"It's going to burn, just take a deep breath."
I warned him, I slowly dabbed the cotton ball on his cut cheek.
With in a quick minute, he winced and slapped my hand away.
"Excuse you, I warned you."
I said as I threw out the cotton ball since it fell on the ground.
"Yeah but I didn't think it would burn so bad."
He said sheepishly as I grabbed another cotton ball and wet it with rubbing alcohol.
"I'll blow on it, it helps."
After that, I began to dab the cotton ball on his cheek again but this time blowing it gently.
He closed his eyes tightly and took deep breaths, as I was cleaning his cut, something looked different or familiar.
I threw the cotton ball away and grabbed another one, repeating my actions to his split lip.
But I just couldn't help but feel like I've seen him before, I mean before we even met.
He opened his eyes to my confused look, I really was trying to figure out who he looked like.

"I can see the gears in your brain working, what are thinking about?"
He asked, I hesitated a bit, I didn't want him to think I was weird for thinking I saw him before.
You look so familiar like it's not even funny.
I answered honestly, he looked at me like he was caught in a lie and took a deep breath.
Maybe I was correct, possibly I was on his live before or he came over to my house but I know I've seen him before.
"Well, have you ever seen Euphoria?"
