You now stood outside Addison Apartments beside Sal and Larry, whilst your mom was getting tended to in an ambulance.

You had a blanket wrapped around your shoulders to keep you slightly warm. Larry and Sal were on either side of you as Sal had his arm wrapped around your waist and Larry was holding your hand.

Tears streamed down your face, not from sadness, but happiness. It was finally over.

All the pain and fear you had occupying your mind was now washed away and an overwhelming feeling of joy replaced it. Your father couldn't hurt you anymore. He couldn't hurt anyone anymore.

Still, you have yet to figure out who had told your father about this. It had to be someone who knew your father would freak out. But who would do such a thing?

Sal lets go of your body and walks forward towards your father. You saw Sal pull his an arm back then a rough punch was delivered to your fathers face, causing your fathers nose to bleed. Although you couldn't hear Sal say his next words,

"That's for Y/N."

You watched Sal with wide eyes but a big, goofy smile was plastered on your face.

You watched as your father was shoved into a cop car with his hands behind his back in handcuffs. A smile appeared on your face as you witnessed the scene Infront of you. Your father was shouting curses at you but then were muffled as the cop that saved you, Sal, and your mom slammed the car door close in his face.

You listened to some different cops talk to each other about the charges and crimes he had committed.

"Child abuse, domestic violence, psychological torture, kidnapping, and first degree torture."

The amount broken laws seemed to just keep piling up, this wasn't going to look good for your father in court. Hell, there might not even be a trial if your father just confessed, but knowing him - he would just act the he was the victim.

You leaned your head on Larry's shoulder as the cop car drove away, slowly fading in the distance. Your attention was driven away from the now disappeared cop car when you hear coughs behind you.

You turn your head to look behind you and see your mom coughing while sitting on the edge of the ambulette. Her gaze was stuck to the ground as her heart filled with guilt and sadness. She was happy that her husband had finally been taken away from her and her baby, but still, the pain from all the years she was stuck with him weighed down her thrilled mood.

You gave your mom a sympathetic smile as you began walking over to her, letting go of Larry's hand because you figured this was a talk that needed to just be between you and your mom. Larry understood what you were going to do without even needing you to speak and walked over to Sal.

You limped over to your mom, your legs being weak and full of pain from your father not being a great dad. Your mom lifted her head at the sound of soft footsteps coming towards her and spotted you.

A smile appeared on her face as you now stood beside her.

"I'm so sorry, baby..."

Your mom whispered as a tear rolled down her cheek.

You stared into her eyes and smiled sadly.

"Don't apologise, mom. You did nothing wrong,"

You softly said.

"Yes I did, if I hadn't married that monster - none of this would have happened. I was selfish and a terrible mother to you, I didn't treat you the way I should've. I shouldn't have let your father scare me into not helping you."

Your mom sniffled. You went to speak up but your mom held her hand up, signalling for you to stay quiet.

"I was a coward, I didn't help my own little girl just because I was scared. I love you so much baby, you're my whole world and I'm sorry I wasn't such a great mom these past few years,"

Your mom plummeted her gaze to the floor and she sighed. She felt awful that she couldn't do anything more than a simple 'sorry'. You deserved more than just a stupid sorry.

"Mom...you're speaking nonsense. I think you've gone totally mad. But I'll let you in on a secret, all the best people are,"

You said. To which your mom sniffled and glanced at you with a small smile.

"You are an amazing mom and its upsetting that you don't see that."

Your mom then went to speak, to deny any of your kind words but you held your hand up just as she did. Which made her laugh slightly.

"I'm sorry for leaving you all on your own. I'm sorry for blaming this all on you before, none of this was your fault. It isn't anyone's fault but his."

You continued, you couldn't bring yourself to call Tom your father. He surely didn't act like one.

"You're the best mom in the entire world and I couldn't think of anyone else who took care of me better than you have. I love you so much mom."

Your mom smiled and squished you in a hug. She giggled slightly at each of your happy endings. You got to spend the rest of your life happily without your douchebag of a dad and your mom got to take care of her daughter without any worry of your father hurting the two of you.

"How did I ever end up with such an amazing girl like you as my daughter,"

Your mom said, although the question was rhetorical, you still answered it.

You smiled while you face was squished against her chest.

"Eh, God decided to cut you some slack,"

You joked. You and your mom laughed together then she pulled away and cupped your face in her hands.

"You are such an amazing person, Y/N, I'm so glad you are the way you are...I'm so proud of you."

Your mom smiled while she pushed a few of your stray hair strands out of your face. You felt your eyes brim with tears hearing such kind words. You giggled and hugged her again, happy tears falling down your face.

The two of you heard footsteps behind you and raised your heads to look at who it was. Sal and Larry stood a few feet back and smiled at you and your mom.

"Sal, Larry."

Your mom greeted.

"Mind if we talk?"

You looked at your mom, slightly nervous as to what she wanted to talk to them about. The two teenage boys looked nervous too, but nodded anyway.

Almost perfectly timed a nurse came up to you all.

"Y/N L/N?"

She asked looking around for said person.

"That's me,"

You said.

"Oh, good. The sheriff over there would like to take your statement,"

She smiled then pointed to a man wearing a cop uniform and had a notepad with a pen in his hands. Then she walked off.

You looked to your mom and she gestured for you to go talk with the man. You let go of your mom and walked towards the man, gripping tightly onto your blanket for warmth.

Your mom watched you leave before turning back to the two teenage boys.

"I would like to thank you boys."

She said, shocking Sal and Larry. They expected a scolding or for her to say they could never see you again, blah blah blah.

"What?"

The two said in unison.

Your mom giggled then smiled at them.

"Larry, you saved us. It was very brave of you. And very smart to bring help as well."

"And Sal, you gave Tom a taste of his own medicine just a few minutes ago with that hit."

Sal stood taller, proud of himself. Larry smiled softly and nodded to your moms words. It was silent for a moment before your mom spoke up again.

"You are both good for Y/N. I haven't seen her so happy since she was a little girl,"

Your mom and the two males looked over to you smiling as the sheriff told a joke. The boys stared at you with a love struck gaze while your mom saw their expressions and laughed slightly.

"You really do love her, don't you?"

The two boys looked back at your mom and smiled. They both shared a look before nodding.

"I do..."

They said at the same time, but this time, on accident.

You walked back over and noticed your mom and your boyfriends laughing at something.

"What are you guys laughing about?"

You walked over with a smile, the boys jumped - not expecting you to be there.

"Oh nothing,"

Your mom brushed off with a smirk as she watched the two boys become flustered.

Your mom decided to leave the three of you alone and slowly stood up. Ignoring her aching legs.

"Mom what are you doing? You shouldn't stand."

You told her and tried to grab her arm to sit her back down but she waved you off.

"You three look like you need to talk about some...stuff."

She looked to the boys and they realised what she meant.

While you raised an eyebrow in confusion. What the hell did she mean by that?

Your mom walked off and you turned back to Sal and Larry with a shrug, confusion written all over your face.

"What was that all about?"

The boys pretended to not know and shrugged.

"Don't know."

Larry lied.

Without saying another word, you sighed heavily and pulled them into a hug.

Sal wrapped his arm around your waist and Larry patted your head.

"I'm so happy its all over,"

You admitted, to which the boys hummed in agreement.

"If it didn't end any sooner I would have probably had to use my karate moves on Tom, dude."

You said.

The boys pulled away from the hug and laughed at your silly comment.

"I'm serious! I would've."

You huffed with a smile.

"God, I love you,"

Larry muttered, thinking you wouldn't hear him.

"Amen to that,"

Sal said, agreeing with Larry in a whisper.

"Wait what?"

You said in shock at what they both had pretty much just said.

"You...love me?"

Their eyes widened after realising you had heard them.

"I'm not deaf you guys,"

You laughed.

"You're literally standing 5 feet away from me."

Sal nodded sheepishly.

"I-I do...love you, very much,"

"We love you. Very much."

Larry nudged Sal's shoulder.

You were shocked for a moment and froze in your spot.

"R-really?"

You began to slowly smile.

"Of course we do. Just look at you! You're so smart and kind and beautiful."

Larry stated.

"Especially with those thighs of yours,"

Sal smirks to which Larry smacked him upside the head.

You giggled then wrapped an arm around each of their waists.

"I love you both, too."

They smiled down at you. Sal lifts his mask just so his lips could show and kissed your lips and Larry crossed his arms in displeasure.

"Hey no fair, I want a kiss too!"

Larry complained.

You rolled your eyes playfully before slamming your lips onto his. This was the perfect ending, everything felt right and was all back in place.

You had your boys back, you had your mom back, your dad got what he deserved and everything was great. This was your happy ending.

But was this really the end? Or was this...only the beginning?
