Pete pov:

I was sitting in the dining hall, eating breakfast with Arm, Pol and Porsche.

Arm:" Do you guys have any plans for tomorrow?"

Pol:" I am going to sleep whole day."

Arm:" You lazy ass."

Pol:" We only get a single day off. So i want to sleep properly."

Arm:" You're going to join me. What about you two?"

Tomorrow I'll be going to meet Vegas. But i can't tell them.

Pete:" I have to go to meet a friend."

Pol:" Pete, is it that bakery friend of yours? You hang out with him so much. You don't spend time with us now. Are you sure he is only your friend?"

Pete:" Yes he's just a friend. And i promised to help him out in his work. So I'll be busy."

Pol:" What about you Porsche?"

Por:" I have to attend a meeting tomorrow with Kinn."

Pete:" What meeting? We don't know about it."

Por:" You guys have a day off. So Kinn doesn't want to ruin your plans. It will be me , Big and Ken with Kinn. Meeting will be Here only. In the meeting hall. Tawan asked both of the families to join."

Pete:" You mean minor family will also be here. But why?"

Vegas asked me to meet him tomorrow. If he's going to come here that means our meeting is cancelled. But he didn't tell me.

Por:" Tawan had to say something. I don't know what."

Arm:" Khun Yam has asked him to look for the evidences. Maybe he find some clue."

Por:" Yes it can be but Khun Yam won't be here."

What does Tawan wants to show? Is it really the evidence. But Vegas said that he destroyed everything.

We ate our breakfast and went to the room.

Por:" Pete, come fast . Kinn has to go somewhere and we both have to gaurd him."

Pete:" Porsche, i have to ask you something."

Por:" Say?"

Pete:" You told me that when everyone went to Christine's funeral, you were here and heard what i and Vegas talked about?"

Por:" Yaa so."

Pete:" That means you know about Christine......"

Por:" That it was a murder."

Damn he knew.

Por:" But don't worry. I won't tell to anyone. He deserves to die. I wanted to Kill him the day he molested you. But because of Kinn, i didn't. I'm proud of you. "

Pete;" But ....... I'm afraid. Why Tawan wants to meet him? What evidence did he found out?"

Por:" Relax Pete. I'll be there. I'll tell you why he came and What he found. I'm going to handle everything. Don't get stressed."

Although Porsche assured me. But i was scared.

Por:" Let's go. Kinn might be waiting."

It was 9:53am. I'm waiting for Pete. I am going to propose him. Today, I'll make him mine.

Pete:" Vegas, Where are you lost?"

I didn't notice when Pete came. He was wearing his blue shirts and white pants, and the smile that i have fallen for. I hugged him immediately.

V:" I thought you won't come. "

Pete:" Vegas , leave me. What if anyone sees us. Let's go from here."

Vegas:" What? Let Them see."

Pete:" Shut up."

We went in the car and drive off.

P:" Today's weather is so nice "

Pete was really enjoying the weather and i was enjoying looking at him. His smile , i missed it the most. I wasn't expecting that he'll forgive me so easily. Whenever i tried to contact him, he ignores me and the looks in his eyes was always gloomy. But now he's with me and happy.

P:" Vegas, where are we headed to?"

V:" It's a surprise."

P:" By the way i didn't thought that we'll meet today. I heard that there is meeting. But you said you won't be attending. Why?"

V:" It was a stupid meeting. And i really don't like going to major house because of your master. They irritate me so much. I always tried to skip major family meetings."

P:" Oh i know that. Earlier Whenever i look at you, i knew that it was your father who forced you to attend meetings. But since past few months, whenever you came to meeting, it looked like you were excited for it."

V:" It was because i wanted to see you."

P:" See me or to see Porsche."

V:" What ... Porsche? Porsche was not at that time. It was only you. Your room was our room. Did you forget that?"

I can see that Pete wasn't comfortable when i said it.

P:" Let's not talk about the past. You know it was not good."

V:" Hmmmm."

V:" No one is listening."

P:" Focus on the road."

I again started driving. But Pete remained silent. His cheeks were blushed. He is still sensitive to what i say.

And i can't stop smiling thinking about it .

V:" Pete, I've changed now. Earlier i was a sex freak. But trust me, Since i met you i didn't touch any other men."

P:" I saw you and Porsche kissing.😒"

Aishh! I am trying my best to lighten the mood but all Pete thinks about me is that I'm a cheater.

After an hour of driving, We reached to the hotel. We parked the car and went in.

Pete pov:

Vegas took the room keys. Then we went towards the lift.

It's only afternoon. I thought Vegas asked me to come for a date. But we are here at the hotel. And in the hotel that means.......

It's not that i don't want to do it with him. I missed him, his touch and everything. But i don't want our relationship to be based on just sex as before.

P:" Why are we here?"

V:" Let's get to the room first 😏."

We were standing infront of our room now. Vegas smiled and looked at me.

V:" You stay here. First I'll go in and then I'll call you. Only then you'll come in."

I nodded and he went in. I was nervous. As it has been more than a month that we did something like this. I never thought that we'll be together again. I thought I'd lost him forever, that now He'll only love Porsche. I won't matter to him anymore and he'll forget about me. But that day when i went to his house, the way he cried and asked me to comeback to him. My heart is too weak for him. I forgot everything, the anger that i have towards him, the things that his friends said about how he feels towards me, the way he made me fool that he loves me. I forgave him in an instant. Just Because i was madly in love with him. Because i was craving for him. I wanted him for myself, just for me.

" PETE!!".

Vegas shouted and asked me to come in. I opened the door and went in.

P:" What were you doing? "

V:" Close your eyes first."

P:" Why?"

V:" Once we reach the bedroom you can open your eyes then."

P:" Bedroom? You want me to close my eyes for that. Don't tell me that you're feeling shy now?"

V:" Shy? Me ?"

P:" Yes, that's why you're asking me to close my eyes. Before reaching the next room."

He chuckled to what i said.

V:" Aii Pete, What are you thinking? Do you think i am stupid that I'll be doing that stuff with you now, in the daytime?"

P:" Huh? What?"

What does he mean? Didn't he booked a room so that we could do something? Although i don't want to do it now but I was excited.

V:" Close your eyes now."

I closed my eyes and he placed his hands on my shoulder and then we walked towards the next room. I heard clack sound of the door opening and went in.

V:" I'll count to three and then open your eyes."

I don't know what he wanted to show me. He started the counts.

I opened my eyes and saw the room was decorated with heart shaped balloons and a banner on the wall that says...

Am i dreaming? I wanted to ask Vegas whether is it really true or i am dreaming. It appeared like my jaw is locked. I was unable to speak anything. Was i getting nervous? I turned to Vegas, he smiled and hold my hands in front.

V:" Pete, i know I'm not a good person. I've done many wrong things in my life. I even hurt you so many times. And i know that i don't deserve to say all this to you. But i am sorry for everything. Please forgive me."

I wanted to so many things but words were not coming out of my mouth. This all seems too good to be true.

V:" I promise Pete, I'm going to makeup for all the lost times. I am not going to repeat the mistakes. I love you and I promise you, no one will work harder to make you happy or cherish you more than me."

Then he get down on his one knee. He took out a small box from his pocket and opened it . There was a ring. A couple ring.

V:" I know you're the only one I want to share the rest of my life with. Pete...... Will you marry me?"

This is not a dream. Vegas.. A marriage proposal....

I was in a lack of words. I don't know what to say to him. He haven't confessed his feelings to me properly and suddenly out of nowhere a marriage proposal. Isn't this going too fast.

V:" Pete...."

Vegas was waiting for the answer. I calmed myself.

P:" You..... You mean it, right? This is not some kind of a joke or a plan."

V:" I am sorry that you find so hard to believe me now. As it is my fault but trust me Pete. I mean it. I want us to be together. And this is not a plan. These are my feelings for you. I know you might be shocked with such a sudden confession. But I don't want to waste anymore time. I delayed so much back then and i really messed up everything. Just because i realised too late the feelings that i had for you. But now i know them so i want to spend my everyday with you. The story of our love is only beginning. Let's write our own happy ending."

I didn't realised that tears were falling through my cheeks. Not because i was hurt, but because this is all i dreamed of - Vegas and me, together . All these 5 years i was begging for his attention. That time, whenever i had such thoughts , i always keep reminding myself to be in limits as he is my boss and I'm just a bodyguard. But now it's all real. My dream was becoming a reality.

P:" This is .... No...not a dream."

Vegas touched my hand and kissed the back of my palm.

V:" It's not a dream. I love you Pete. And i want you in my life. Will you marry me?"

I quickly nodded many times as yes.

He placed the ring on my finger and then immediately i also placed it on his finger and I hugged him tightly. Like i don't want him to ever go of this hug.

P:" You better not be playing with my feelings again, Vegas. This time i would really kill you, if you did that."

V:" Is this sound to be romantic?"

I didn't said anything and hugged him more tightly. He also did the same.

P:" I love you Vegas. I love you more than anything."

V:" I love you too. But Pete, i think you are going to break my ribs."

P:" Is this sound to be romantic?"

V:" No, It really hurts na."

We both giggled and he kissed my forehead before getting off the hug.

We sat on the couch and Vegas poured the red wine into glasses. I picked the glass and sipped it.

V:" I was so stressed since morning. I'm finally relaxed now."

P:" You'd be been planning all this. For how many days?"

V:" I've been planning this confession for about two months."

P:" Two months?"

V:" I bought the rings but earlier i just want to confess my love for you, i never thought that I'd ever do a marriage proposal sort of thing."

P:" Was this the reason you asked me to meet you at beach?"

V:" Yes, but you didn't came. Do you know how much i waited for you. Even Jay and Thew, they both planned so many things for both of us. But that all goes in vain."

He took out the phone and showed me a pic.

V:" See, they even arranged and decorated a place there. Just for us. They were so sad that their efforts were gone in vain."

P:" Are you blaming for that? I was so stressed. My mind has stopped working. I was so afraid to meet you that time. I didn't came i thought you'll ask me to break up with you. Because i thought you loved Porsche."

V:" So you should have come to me. You should have asked me whether i really love him or not. You should have asked me whether it's true or not. Don't you trust me. You'd believed what Porsche said."

P:" Do you think I'm stupid to believe him?"

V:" If you didn't believe him then why did you started ignoring me? Why didn't you come to ask me what it was all about?"

P:" I came to your house to ask about it whether it was true or not but then i heard your friends........."

He frowned and looked at me. You've been caught Pete. Now you can't change the topic.

P:" I mean.... They didn't said anything. It was me. As usual, i came to your room from the balcony but i didn't find you but i heard your friends."

He was getting angry. I know if i said something then he is going to go and fight with them.

P:" Yeah, Vegas just calm down. You're scaring me."

V:" Calm down. Whoa Pete. You came for an answer but because of them , we weren't able to talk and you have decided to leave me. Just tell me what they said?"

P:" i heard them saying that You felt proud when they call Porsche as your boyfriend, but you feeling ashamed when they take my name. You even hated my touch, that you wash your hands after touching me. "

V:" Aish!! These stupid bastards."

P:" You are embarrassed when you hang out with me. I had hugged you today. I think now you should take a bath. Do you really hate my touch that much."

V:" They said all this. Tsk! N...no Pete. It's not like that "

The way he was trying to explain himself, gave me so relief. All i can see was his worried expressions and his efforts to convince me. I can feel the need and care that he had for me. I don't want anything else in my life if i had Vegas.

P:" Vegas, if ...... now i touch...... you infront of them, would you still shout at me?"

V:" No. Now even if you ask me to kiss you infront of them. I won't hesitate. Because now all i want is you. Only you. "

I placed my hands around his neck and quickly gave a peck on his lips. All i need was him to accept me and love me , like i wanted to.

P:" Do you have anything else to do today?"

V:" Y...Yes, i have planned...."

P:" Cancel it."
