I remember the day

I started wanting you

I never felt this way before,

but when I looked in your eyes

I couldn't help but adore,

and wish that you'll notice

how brilliant you are.

It was raining that day,

but even so, you managed

to make it sunny.

You were as sweet as honey,

and warm as coffee in a cold day.

that's when I realised how much

I loved your company.

You're the kind of person

that people write songs about.

and I, the kind of person

that people loves to hate in books.

All I wanted was

for you to look at me

in a different way

but i'm someone

you love to befriend,

but not someone

you'd rather be

more than friends.

- I can't bare to see you happy with someone else.
