There was a girl who I call Myst. I guess you could say the name fits her well..
She's always there, and then disappears like a mist.
I guess you could say she's one of the people I always miss.
She's always there, always listening to my problems. We always talk, but I can't seem to see what she's thinking.
But even so, I can never seem to stop admiring.
You are a mist that appears for a little while, and then vanishes.
But even so, I never want us to go back as acquaintances.
I think of you as my savior. Because if I hadn't met you, I wouldn't be who I am right now.
I'd be okay if I lose many people on the way, just not you, that's something I surely wouldn't allow.
A girl who I call Myst, that's someone who I think of as my bestfriend.
No matter what happens on the way, I am always here to defend.
A girl that is like a mist. A mist come and then go, but surely it will come back.
So no matter what happens, I am always here.

Some serious luck will be required to get Karlene home to where people don't fly, buildings don't float, and she's not caught up in a power struggle to keep the right to her own soul.
