《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》Fighting a Valkyrie

Loki's POV
"Wait, so she's..." Bruce asked after we explained the situation and everything he'd missed so far.
"So high she's in another galaxy? Yes." 142 answered. Every time I heard her voice, it annoyed me further.
"Yes, could you please make sure she's all right?" I asked Bruce and tore my glare away from 142.
"I-I can try. I don't exactly have my equipment here-"
"I can try to summon basic equipment you might need." I supplied. Bruce nodded and turned back to Sammee.
"I need a stethoscope and a blood pressure cuff. My biggest concern is her kidney function, but being on it for only two months- though, you have the fact that it's not made for humans..." Bruce said, talking more to himself than to anyone in the room. "She's probably fine, but we should get her checked as soon as possible..." he told us before turning to look at me. "Has she had any pain in her stomach or back? Any nausea or diarrhea? Swelling? Uhm, shortness of breath?" Bruce asked. My jaw clenched and I lowered my head in anger when I realized I could only answer yes or no to one of them. I didn't know the answers to anything else. I only knew that she had been nauseous and that was because I overheard 142 asking.
Grudgingly, I looked over at 142. The smirk on her face told me she was waiting for just that. Bruce furrowed his brows before following my gaze.
"Nausea, swelling, shortness of breath. No to all the others." 142 told him. Instead of using my time being jealous, I summoned the items Bruce needed. They were small and I knew what they both looked like, so it was easy to summon. I handed them to Bruce and stepped back, next to Thor.

"Valkyrie?" Sammee's voice mumbled. Everyone turned to look at her. I made my way over to her and sat on the edge of the bed.
"What, Kitten?" I asked and moved the hair out of her face. Her eyes were still closed and she was scrunching her eyebrows.
"Where's my Valkyrie..." her voice was barely a whisper. She was barely conscious.
"She means me. Move." 142 told me. I turned my head away from Sammee to look at 142. She had her hands on her hips expectantly.
When all I did was glare at her, she rolled her eyes and went to push me. I pushed away her hand with one hand while summoning a dagger with the other. In a second, my knife was at her throat.
There was a pause where neither of us moved, then we both moved at the same time. She grabbed my wrist while I stood up and pushed us away from Sammee. 142 pulled her own blade which I blocked. She was fast! I could barely keep up. I caught all of her attacks except one. I wasn't fast enough and 142 was able to punch me in the face. I didn't let it stop me.
I swiped my blade out widely to push her back and didn't give her time to even think about retaliating before I was on her again. I lunged at 142, my dagger in my hand. She blocked with her forearm, guiding my arm up, and went to stab me with her own blade. I just barely moved out of the way and had to duck when she spun to gain momentum and swiped her blade out.
I caught her arm once it passed over me. She twisted in my grip, getting the upper hand and locking my arm against her. With her other hand she aimed to stab me. I locked her arm against me the same way she did mine. Looking down, I saw the mark of the Valkyrie on her inner forearm.

"So, you are a Valkyrie." I said. While I was distracted, she pulled her arm free and backhanded me. My head snapped to the side and when I turned back, her foot collided with my chest.
I flew backward, my back slamming into the wall. Before I could get my bearings, 142's knee collided with my chest as she pinned me against the wall.
"Choose your next words wisely." She told me menacingly.
"I'm terribly sorry. Must be a very painful memory." I smirked. She wasn't holding my arms down, so I quickly reached up and placed my hand on her forehead. I pulled the darkest memory out, forcing her to relive the pain.
It was strange, the memory. A woman dressed in a black and green body suit. She had a war helmet with multiple, stag-like horns. She looked powerful, terrifying, but she also seemed familiar. She looked familiar... her features... her eyes... blue-green eyes similar to mine.
The Valkyrie's were fighting this woman, and they were no match. The Valkyrie's that defended Asgard, fiercely and with great strength, were no match for this mystery woman. There must have been a hundred Valkyrie's laid dead at her feet.
I pulled out of the memory as fast as I went in. 142 fell backward and I sat up to look at her.
"Who was that?" I asked. "In your memory, who were you fighting?" I was almost desperate to know who she was. I just had a feeling...
"That is none of your business!" 142 told me. She tried to kick me again, but I caught her foot and pulled her closer to me.
"Tell me her name! Just her name!" I demanded. 142 pulled out of my grip and pushed me away. Her brows were furrowed in confusion.
"I don't owe you anything." She stated. Technically, she was correct, but I had to know.
"Are you two done playing around, yet?" Thor questioned like a child. We both ignored him. 142 and I were staring at each other. I was breathing heavily, but it wasn't because of our fight. I had to know, I had to swallow my pride.
"Please..." I looked at the ground and asked her. When she didn't refuse right away; I glanced back up at her.
"Why do you care so much?" She asked me. I knew she wouldn't tell me anything if I didn't answer with something close to the truth. Though, I didn't even know what the truth was...
"Just... I have a feeling." I told her carefully, honestly. 142 studied me for another minute before our attention was drawn away by Sammee's whimper.
"Fine," 142 said and turned back to me. "You let me help her, I'll tell you what you want." She offered. I thought about it, actually thought about it. I didn't want her anywhere near Sammee, but I knew she wouldn't hurt her and I needed to know.
"Alright," I agreed with a nod.
"Her name is Hela, the Goddess of Death."
