The wind blew softly against the trees, causing them to shake. Not a single sound could be heard outside the household nor inside. The family of four lay asleep, well except for the youngest. The young baby who had his day and night mixed up sat up in his crib, playing with the stuffed animals he had. He didn't make a fuss to be picked up for he was content in playing alone in his crib. Just a couple of feet away laid his two sleeping parents. The younger one of the two held the older one by the waist, pushing his chest against his back. They lay peacefully together, blankets that were once covering their bodies down at their ankles. The fourth member of the household lay in her room, tucked tightly underneath her covers as she dreamed away.
The younger partner, a boy with messy wavy brown hair opened his eyes slowly. He let go of his mate's waist and rolled out of bed as he headed toward the bathroom. He locked himself in there, not even noticing his son still awake. But the son did notice his father and crawled over to the side of the crib closest to the bathroom. He grabbed the railings and pulled himself up, holding onto the top for dear life. His father opened the door, letting a small ray of light out before shutting off the light. He rubbed his eyes and looked over at the crib, stepping back a little.
"What are you doing up so late, Arlo?" He asked quietly, careful to not wake up Jimmy. He looked up at him and dropped onto the mattress with a small thud. Karl went over and leaned against the crib.
"Do you want to sleep Daddy and me?" The boy cooed, grabbing his stuffed animal before making grabby hands. Karl read the message and picked him up, cradling him against his chest. He swayed his hips as he cuddled Arlo, savoring the small moment. The sheets on the bed rustled as Jimmy sat up in the bed. He had a look on his face that was questioning him on what was happening. Karl took a small step to the foot of the bed, kissing Arlo's head.

"He couldn't go to sleep." Jimmy nodded and put out his hands for Karl to transfer the baby to him. Arlo whined as he left Karl's warmth, waking up again. The baby shifted as he whined more, wanting Karl. When he felt Jimmy's hands wrap around his body, he stopped whining and cuddled into Jimmy's chest as he brought him close. He laid down with him on his chest, feeling the covers be placed on top of them. He felt the bed dip as Karl sat down on the bed. Jimmy moved Arlo to lay on his back in the middle of them. Karl turned to his side and propped his head up with his arm, looking at the little boy lift his feet and try to eat them. His father moved them away, tickling his stomach and he got a squeal of laughter. Jimmy looked up at Karl and smiled, scooting closer to the boy.
A knock at the door made Karl turn his head towards it. He got up and opened the door a creak to see his daughter looking up at him while rubbing her eyes, her security blanket held tight in his grasp. She pouted up at him, tears forming on the bottom of her eyelids.
"What's wrong Lillian?" He cooed as he squatted down to get to her height as heopened the door wider. She walked into his arms and let him hug her, cuddling into his chest. He stood up with her in his arms and swayed with her, resting his head on top of hers. He turned to the bed and closed the door with his foot. The younger male looked at the older male as he smiled softly. Arlo was sucking on a pacifier Jimmy had given him, his eyes dropping softly. Karl walked over to the bed and placed Lillian next to her brother, laying on his side to face them. He ran his fingers through her long little brown hair, kissing her forehead. She held her security blanket up in the air, urging him to kiss it. He gave it a small peck, pushing it down on top of her body.

Jimmy put the blanket on top of them all when she fell asleep, looking up into Karl's eyes. He reached over and patted the side of his head, laying his head on the pillow.
"How did we deserve this?" Karl asked as he laid his head on the pillow, looking over at their pride and joy. He closed his eyes as he got sleepy, feeling comfort in having the family he created with him.

Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***
