Chapter 27, I Will Ruin You
The difference between you and I is, I have people wanting to be with me or be me. You? You have nothing, you will always have nothing.
The school day was dragging, luckily I was able to ace my algebra test thanks to the studying with Cora.
My main worries were Spanish, I still needed help with that considering the exam is on Friday and it is to determine whether or not I get a C average or higher or lower.
But I managed to call my dad during lunch in the bathroom and ask him if I could get an early piercing or dye my hair since I got an A on my algebra test, if wasn't easy convincing this man but I did it.
I get my hair dyed tomorrow which is so exciting.
Right now I was sitting at my desk in History class, I was finishing my assignment as I hummed the melody to 'Juliet' by Cavetown.
I hadn't noticed anyone sitting next to me until I heard someone singing the lyrics, I looked over and noticed it was Willow.
"My sour boy is a pain, I wanna shoot him in the brain but I'd miss him in the morning."
Willow sung along, I couldn't help but stare in awe.
She noticed and smiled at me, she was about to stop when I decided to quietly sing the next lyric in hopes she would continue.
"It really hurts when I need to so bad but I can't see her, my Juliet, my special girl."
The whole period was spent with us singing along to the song, once the bell rang she hugged me and she smelled so good.
This is going to make me sound creepy but I'm not, she smells exactly like roses and vanilla.

As I was walking through the halls, I looked over and sighed at the sight of Jaden and Meredith.
He didn't look as miserable as I hoped he would be, I didn't feel like crying but I didn't feel like smiling either.
As I walked past them, the next lyric of the song from Juliet began to play in my head.
I hope that he, looks at me, and thinks 'damn, she's so pretty.'
Something I can't believe...
I opened my locker and placed my books that I no longer needed inside, as I closed my locker I was faced with an excited Xiomara.
Which startled me because I wasn't expecting anyone to be behind my locker, she laughed when I jumped.
"What's got you so excited?"
I asked with a smile as we walked to our Spanish class, Xiomara looked at me and began to gush out everything.
Turns out Jaysean had asked her out on a date and she said yes, we both started to squeal.
"Come over to mines, I'll make sure you look like a Goddess, you know the one you're meant to be."
I hyped Xiomara up, she smiled at me and we hugged before walking into the classroom and taking our seats in the back.
Back seats are so much better than the front seats and the middle seats, something everyone could agree with.
Once the bell rang, we walked to our afternoon homeroom and sat down on our desks as we began to plan the outfits she was going to wear.
During our conversation, Layla rushed into the classroom with a busted lip and she had blood gushing down her nose.
I got off of my desk and ran over to her, even though we had the argument and we wouldn't be the same, that didn't mean I was going to stop caring about her.

Layla isn't much of a fighter so whoever did this got an easy shot, I looked at my teacher who was writing a pass.
"Come on Layla, you gotta tell me who did this."
I urged her to tell me as we sat in the nurse's office, she was holding two papers up her nose as she shook her head.
I sighed in annoyance, Layla didn't want to get anyone in trouble but this was serious.
"Layla, I'm giving you an opportunity to tell me yourself right now before I go all FBI agent and search for the suspect."
I told her, Layla sighed and looked at me.
She stood quiet for two minutes before giving up and standing up.
"Meredith.."
My blood was boiling, I got up and ran out of the nurse's office.
I had Layla run after me catching the attention of Javon, Xiomara and Jaysean.
I didn't stop running until I heard the bell ring indicating it was time to go home, I didn't care.
Once I got a glimpse of Meredith, I ran full speed at her.
Meredith noticed and she started running down the halls, I ran faster and caught up enough to shove her head into the lockers.
I dropped my things and took my earrings off, by the time she got up, my hair was in a bun.
"You wanna hit my friends, you want to steal my boyfriend and expect me to chicken out? Nuh-uh baby, that ain't gonna work."
I spoke out as my friend group caught up to me, Meredith started laughing as she got up and put her hair in a bun.
"Take this outside, we don't want y'all in trouble."
Xiomara interjected, I looked at her as she grabbed my things and led us outside.
Once we were outside in front of a park, I didn't wait.
My body crashed into hers, I threw a quick right hook and all you heard was a crack.
Blood gushing down Meredith and I's clothes but that wasn't enough for me, I repeatedly clawed, scratched, punched, pinched and bit.
Once things started to get too bloody, Xiomara, Javon, Jaysean and Layla had to pull me off.
I watched as Meredith got slowly and looked at me like I was insane, I couldn't help but laugh.
I was let go and I walked up to Meredith, I wiped the blood off my lips and smirked at her.
I moved her hair away from her ear as I leaned closer, I took a deep, shakey breath.
The difference between you and I is, I have people wanting to be with me or be me. You? You have nothing, you will always have nothing.
Before I left, I kissed her cheek and smiled at both Jaden and Meredith.
Right before we left, I turned around and kissed both of my middle fingers before showing it to them.
This was only just the beginning.
This is only the beginning, Meredith.
